Hey. My name is Alexis. I am a sexy rock beast. lol. jk. I play flute, piano, electric and acoustic guitar, and some other things.... I am in a band. We are still stuck in my garage though... XD we are a chick band, and our name is Escaping Oblivion.... I am lead guitarist and also backround vocalist. So ya, i love singing. XD Music is my passion.... I love so many bands... that i can't tell you my fave. I do have guitar hero, and i rock at it... but its over-rated..... REAL GUITAR IS BETTER!! pm me.

Hey Im Celtic_vampiress69, just call me Celtic.
I play the guitar, the saxaphone, and the piano. I've been playing guitar the longest and its definately my favorite. Singing is my passion too.

Well anyway my favorite guitarists have to be Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Slash (of course), and Van Halen. Those are the guitarists i really looked to when i was learning.
Im a technical guitarist, I enjoy learning hard to master riffs and making up my own. Im in a band called Cataclysmic Deciet, or Cataclysmia...(were already doing gigs and we still havn't settled on a name!!)
So yeah thats me in a nutshell...

Hey i joined a fe days ago, i'm little miz giggles and at the moment i play acoustic guitar, piano, and trumpet / cornet. although acoustic is probaly my favorite, i'm going to learn electric soon. and on the poll i voted slash from guns 'n' roses, i love guns 'n' roses.

theres not a real difference between electric and acoustic eccept for the pickups and volume and tone knobs.

I tend to disagree with you there viper. I think there is a huge difference. Especially the main difference, which is that electric guitar brings out that wild side in all of us. It lets us rip out a hardcore shreddin' solo, or a clean, hoppy blues jam. An acoustic gives you the same sound every time. There is also the fact that there is a pick-up you can put on the sound hole of an acoustic guitar to amplify and modify the sound produced. I personally think it's a cheap toy, but nonetheless it exists.

theres a difference between the two... but its mainly just techinque
you dont play an acoustic the same way you play an electric, i mean you can, its not unheard of, but for them to sound good in their own rights, they usually have different styles...

lol, well aperently if u think that the acousitc always sounds the same ur sadly mistaken.
If u ever get the grace to hear Yngwie Malmsteen play his Ovation you might understand what i'm talking about.
I can play blues and jazz BETTER on an acoustic because of each guitar's unique tone.
Yes electric does bring out a wild side (sometimes) but without effects, and amps electrics are more useless than acoustics.
what if your power goes out? no more music?
but i will agree to disagree with you on this particular topic.
