The compliment on her name didn't make her feel any better, in fact it only made this man seem all the less desirable to be near. When he'd lifted her head, she'd closed her eyes. As though looking him in the eye would bring upon horrible consequences. Thin trails ran down each cheek already, from the first few tears that had escaped. When Suto asked her species, she merely nodded and offered nothing more.
-----
Yuki paused, and stepped back. He frowned at Neko's words, but apparently knew that his friend was right. Right about letting him go first, that is. However, his second suggestion was met with an audible snort. "Fat chance. I'm not standing around twiddling my thumbs, not when my sister could be down there." Once Neko had gone past him, Yuki would follow him down the stairs. Handicapped or not, he wasn't about to take no for an answer.

As Neko made his way down the stairs little droplets of blood were left in his wake, like a breadcrumb trail to be followed back later. When he realized that Yuki was following him, however, he stopped and looked back up the stairs at him. “Yuki, seriously hang back for just a minute. If there are people down here what are you going to do? Hobble to safety? You’re in no shape to fight right now and I know you want to help your sister, but how are you going to help her if you get caught or worse? You get killed.”
It took a minute for Neko to turn back around, he was concerned for Hitsu but he was just as concerned with Yuki at the moment. If he pushed himself to hard he would end up getting himself killed. There was a paused and Neko continued his descent down the stairs keeping a look out and stopping every once in a while to listen.
-------
Suto smiled drinking in Hitsu’s frightened expression. It was more beautiful than the dawn in his eyes. Bringing up his thumb he wiped the tears away that were trailing down her cheek. “Now, now, don’t cry. I’m not a bad man. I can be rather nice as long as you cooperate.” Turning away from Hitsu for a moment he looked back at the men holding Mitsu. “Take Mitsu upstairs to a temporary room. I’ll move her later when I figure out exactly which room I want her in. In the mean time I’m going to have a chat with our new guest.” He smiled turning back to Hitsu as he let go of her face.
Nodding to their master, the lab techs hauled Mitsu up and moved her out of the room. As they were almost to the door Mitsu realized what was going on. They were taking her, and Suto was keeping Hitsu. “No.” Mitsu whispered pulling against them. “No!” She pulled against them again this time making the techs stumble as they walked. She was either beginning to realize the power she had or was beginning to turn.
“Sir?” The tech to her right stood his ground as Mitsu began to struggle against them, barely able to hold her in place.
With a sigh, Suto reached into his coat pocket and approached the three. “Can you not do anything by yourself?” Pulling out a syringe Suto jabbed it into Mitsu’s neck and injected the contents. A few more futile struggles later and she started to go limp, her eyes glassed over. “There, she should be out for a couple of minutes, now take her upstairs.”
They did as they were told allowing Suto to turn back to his ‘guest.’ “So sorry for all the interruptions. Shall we begin.” He motioned for the remaining lab techs in the room to strap Hitsu down to one of the tables and so would begin the process.
Upstairs, Mitsu was deposited in one of the rooms closest to the stairs. There they left her locking up the door from the outside. Even in her groggy state, Mitsu made her way off the gurney they had left her on and crawled across the floor to the wall made of glass and banged on it as the techs passed by trying to get them to turn back. When they paid her no heed Mitsu collapsed against the glass unsure of what else to do.

At first, it seemed as though Neko had accepted Yuki's answer. However, he'd barely placed his foot on the fourth stair when Neko stopped. Yuki stopped abruptly, peeking around him, thinking perhaps that he had heard something. When Neko spoke again, Yuki's concerned expression quickly faded to one of annoyance. He held his tongue for a moment, mulling over a response. Foolish? Hell yes he was, and he was well aware of the fact. But, right now, his own safety was not his concern. While he could hope that there'd only be two or three humans downstairs, Yuki hoped that Neko wasn't so stupid to actually think so. Strong or not, did Neko really think he could take on anything he might find on his own?
The silence after Neko had uttered his words was broken by a different sound, and unfortunately Yuki heard it. A soft 'plip' at his feet, which he looked toward. In Neko's pause, a miniature puddle of blood had formed on the step. Yuki frowned, and actually glared at his friend when he turned his back to him. "And what exactly have you got planned? You going to bleed on them?" He hissed, trying to remain quiet, yet unable to hide the anger in his voice. "You'd better ******** believe that if I'm going to risk death in this God-forsaken city, it's going to be for Hitsu's sake." He descended another step pointedly, without much care on if Neko intended to block his path again or not. "Now move your a**. Bad leg or not, I can still kick you down these stairs."
-----
Another flinch came from Hitsu as Suto wiped away a tear, and she was torn on if she was more bothered by the idea of drawing back from him and risking possible punishment or to stay where she was. The dilemma was decided upon just a moment later, upon Suto's instructions to his techs to remove Mitsu. Startled eyes shot open, and Hitsu's stomach lurched as she came to the same realization as Mitsu. She didn't want to be left here alone with these people, she didn't want to be alone with Suto. "No!" She shouted out as well, panicked, wheeling around to face the door. "Please, don't leave me!" She begged, though whether these words were intended for Mitsu or the techs taking her would remain a mystery. Yes, she would take that cell over this, without a second thought. She didn't know what she was in for, and she could certainly never guess that they were in such danger.
Hitsu gave a startled cry when Suto quite violently medicated Mitsu, and began to back slowly in the opposite direction when he'd turned back to her. There was no escape in sight, but the farther and longer she could stay away from him, perhaps it would buy them time. Time for what, she did not know. She could only silently pray through her increasing panic that their friends would come looking for them. Yuki, Neko, anyone. To save them before something horrible was allowed to happen. As her ignorance of the others in the room would have it, Hitsu backed right into one of the lab techs waiting to obey Suto's orders.

* Quickly the tech took hold of Hitsu’s upper arms and held her in place. Another tech, a much smaller man, came to assist and lead the two of them over to the table Suto had pointed to earlier. Tilting the table up at an angle the two techs forced Hitsu down onto the cold metal. Through her fruitless struggles they found it difficult but not impossible to restrain her. They started by releasing the metal bindings around her wrists allowing them to part. Each tech took hold of a struggling arm and forced it down on the table strapping the wrists down first. Once they were securely in place a belt was strapped over her upper torso, around her waist, ending with each leg being strapped down at the ankle. Once done, Hitsu would be secured to the cold metal table from head to foot allowing for minimal movement on her part.
Strolling over to her as if they had been friends who had finally met after a long time, Suto took a seat beside her and drew out another syringe, this one empty. Without warning he aimed to plunge it into her arm and draw out a small sample of blood, which when done he handed to his assistants. “Analyze this, see if she’s telling us the truth.”
Smiling down at Hitsu sweetly he grabbed for a small bag on the counter beside the table Hitsu was on. Unrolling it revealed that it held long steel needles, each neatly held in place with a small strap. Plucking one from its confinement, Suto held it up to examine it. The light glistened off the tip as he twirled it in his fingers admiring its beauty. “Now, Ms. Hitsuzen.” Her name was still said with emphases. “I’m going to ask you some questions, think of it like a game. And as with any game there are rules.” Putting the needle down he looked her in the face with the utmost sincerity. “Answer honestly and nothing will happen. If you choose to not answer or lie, well, lets just say you don’t want to know.” A sadistic grin crossed his features once more as he scooted closer to the table on his stool. “Now then, where are you from?”
---------
The sedative had exhausted any bit of energy that Mitsu once had, leaving her to lean against the glass head just dangling off to the side. The current events kept running through her mind and she kept thinking of things to do but honestly in her current state there wasn’t much that could be done. Hopefully Neko and Yuki would arrive soon and they would be able to save Hitsu.
------------
Neko paused again a light growl emitting from his throat. He knew that Yuki would be stubborn, he had always been a bit of a nanny goat when it came to Hitsu, but for the love of all creation. Pressing a hand to his side, Neko raised it to look at the fresh blood dripping from the wound, it was getting worse. In a sense, he was in no better shape, but at least he could still move to defend himself. “Fine.” Was the only word that passed his lips, he didn’t dare turn around, it would only urge him to be sure that Yuki would stay behind where it was safe. That and if they were to fight, Neko wasn't so sure his wound won't be worse. Better to not risk it.
Since his injuries had been found out, Neko felt little need to hide their effects and braced himself against the banister, his hand leaving a streak of blood as he descended. It took them little time to reach the bottom and there they found themselves in a small room, and off to the left side was a door. Being sure that there was no one there and no one beyond the door, Neko opened it cautiously and peered inside. No one, just a long hallway that swerved to the right at the end. Without a word Neko moved through the door and slowly made his way down the hallway keeping his focus on where the turn was encase someone decided to come around the corner.
It wasn’t until he caught movement out of the corner of his eye that he even looked to the walls of the hallway and was startled to find a small child looking back at him through the glass. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end as he took a step back staring at the small boy who gazed at him with pleading eyes. Trying to divert his attention elsewhere Neko quickly found the same scenario repeated. The hallway was divided up into small rooms all the way down, each with a child or young adult of every tribe and race. Some looked out into the hallway, eyes pleading to free them, others were so far gone all they did was sit and stare, eyes blank and lifeless. “What in gaia is this place?”

When Hitsu had realized her mistake, and felt the man take hold of her, panic was likely an understatement. First, she screamed. Then, like any cornered animal, she would struggle. It was lucky for them that her hands were bound, as it kept her from trying to lash out at them with claws. Biting seemed out of the question, they were experts after all. They'd certainly been bitten more than enough to know that it would be a likely means of retaliation. She flailed as best she could, even tried to blindly kick out at her captors until her legs too were bound. It was probably strange, that she hadn't screamed aside from the initial shock of being grabbed. That was, until Suto jabbed a needle into her. She cried out in pain, and it brought more tears to her eyes.
Whimpering, vainly trying to wriggle in her bindings, though inwardly she knew that it would do no good. She listened, and watched as Suto spoke to his associates. What could she be lying about? He asked if she was of the feline race, and she gave him his answer. He was sitting next to her now, and oh how she wished he would not have. A gleam of light caught her attention, and she held her breath a moment as though expecting him to send another needle into her. She could do little more than look at him from the corner of her eye as he spoke to her, and the longer he spoke the more Hitsu's worry grew. Think of it like a game... Games were supposed to be fun. This was not fun, at least not by her definition.
"From the west." Hitsu replied quietly to his question, fixing her gaze directly in front of her. Perhaps if she didn't look at him, she could keep herself from being so frightened. If she didn't look at him, perhaps she could calmly speak, and keep her anxious emotions at bay.
-----
The growls of Neko did not phase Yuki, and he stood his ground still glaring sternly at his friend's back. He doubted Neko would actually try and harm him, but if he desired to try there would be a scuffle right there on the stairs. "Good," Yuki snapped. About time he started to learn to back off. Yuki thought irritably to himself, before following after him with careful steps.
Once in the hallway, Yuki had been more keen to look upon the cells than stare ahead. Though, he could find no words for what he saw. He simply walked behind, slightly slower than Neko, wide eyed at what they had discovered. These people, most of them looked on the brink of death. Some even looked to have lost all hope, and the very thought that Hitsu was in one of these rooms tore at him. It frightened him, and urged him to move faster. To find her, and Mitsu, before this became of them.
Neko was the first to break the silence, and the only response Yuki gave wasn't an answer to his question. "We've got to keep looking." A whisper, as he looked up to the curve of the hall, straining to listen, to smell. This place gave him chills and made his hairs prickle, and he wanted to be gone as soon as possible.

Neko only nodded to Yuki and kept moving, trying his best to ignore the children’s gazes. A few of the smaller children, probably no older than five or six, pressed themselves against the glass, straining to look at the men as they passed by, their pleas for help being unheard due to the thickness of the glass. Once around the corner Neko saw the stairs up ahead. “There, up ahead.” He quickened his pace all the while trying to keep a look out in the cells for a familiar face. Nearly to the end of the cellblock he had given up on the idea that Hitsu was up here but a familiar glint of white hair caught his attention.
Stopping Neko took a few steps back taking a second look to make sure it was who he thought it was. On the floor, leaning up against the glass wall was Mitsu, though she didn’t look to be in the best of states. Was she out? “Hey.” Neko walked up to the room and tapped on the glass, kneeling down to try and get a look at Mitsu’s face. “Hey!” He dared to speak a bit louder to try and get her attention.
Mitsu looked like a lifeless marionette sitting on the floor, discarded and forgotten. Her arms lay at her side or on her lap, her gaze fixed on the floor. When Neko walked up he didn’t get a response right away, mostly because Mitsu couldn’t hear him, but the shadow he cast into the room caught her attention. Slowly she lifted her head to look at him and Yuki, eyes dulled, mostly due to the sedative she had been given. A long moment went by as she stared at them, her face expressionless. In her mind she was trying to work out who they were and why they were here. They didn’t look like the normal people that worked here.
As realization slowly set in, Mitsu tried to straighten up and brought a feeble hand up and placed it on the glass. She muttered a phrase, something about Hitsu being in danger, but it would go unheard. Though if they had been in the room with her it would still have been barely audible.
--------
Suto smiled at her answer. Was she trying to be smart with him? Leaving her answers vague was very uncalled for. “Let me try again,” Suto said drawing up the needle and placing the tip just above Hitsu’s wrist. He would be sure to aim for a nerve that would send pain shooting up her arm. There he kept his hand poised waiting for her answer. “Where are you from? And due try to be specific. A vague answer is just as good as not answering at all.” To be a gentleman he would give her a fair due over for her first try. After all, it was her first time playing the game.

Yuki had been set on the stairs at first, apparently thinking along the same lines as Neko. Hitsu wasn't here, she was somewhere else. Though, Neko suddenly stopped, and Yuki took little time to follow his gaze. Eyes grew wide as he saw Mitsu, and for one brief moment he felt a rush of relief. They had found Mitsu, so that could only mean that his sister was close by. Neko had moved to try and get Mitsu's attention, but Yuki had been more franticly looking from cell to cell, ignoring the throbbing in his leg in order to move quickly. He checked those that he hadn't looked into, a few just near Mitsu, even a couple that he'd already seen just to be certain.
She wasn't here. A knot began to form in Yuki's throat, and he tried and failed to swallow and be rid of it. For a moment, he paced. Just from Mitsu's side of the hall, to the other, and back again. He looked at Neko, he looked at Mitsu, he looked at the stairs, then back to Neko again. One last look at the stairs, and he was moving toward them without a word.
-----
Another cry soon escaped Hitsu, and she clenched her fist to try and force the pain to ease. It did no good, and she struggled fruitlessly against the binds yet again. Tears leaked from between tightly closed eyes, "Stop!" He got no further answer, she was more concerned about making the pain go away. "Pl-please stop!" She wailed, "It hurts!"

* “Oh, you do not yet know pain, my dear.” Suto cooed into her ear as he gently withdrew the needle. “If you answer quickly it will not be repeated. True pain lies closer to the spinal cord. The closer to the spin,” Suto trailed a hand up her arm before resting it on the side of her face, being sure that she was looking into his eyes, “The greater the effect. Now, my pet, where are you from?” He said ‘my pet’ in a very possessive manner, enough to send chills up anyone’s spin. But his voice also promised pain if he did not get the answer he wanted.
-------
Looking up to see that Yuki was moving on without him, Neko pushed away from the glass after giving Mitsu one last apologetic look. For the moment Mitsu was safe and in a place they could easily find her again. So for the moment they needed to focus on finding Hitsu. Moving toward the stairs to follow after Yuki, Neko offered one last look to Mitsu before he too descended the stairs in search of Hitsu. It was more than obvious she wasn’t upstairs, so hopefully she was somewhere close and safe from harm.
“Hey wait up,” Neko hissed as he took the stairs a bit faster than he felt he could keep up with. The constant bleeding was finally catching up with him and leaving him light headed. At this rate he wasn’t sure he was going to make it out of this place alive. Once at the bottom Neko followed Yuki out of the door and into yet another stream of what seemed like endless hallways. “Which way?”
-----------
Mitsu only stared on as Neko and Yuki left her and descended the stairs. Good, at least they were here and on the right track. Hopefully, they could get to Hitsu in time. A little relieved by this thought, Mitsu relaxed against the glass, resting her head against it. With any luck, Hitsu would never have to know the true horrors of living in Suto’s lab.

Panting lightly as the pain diminished, Hitsu tried to push back her desire to do nothing more than cry. His touch made her shudder, and she greatly wished she could move away. "I-I'm from the dark forest. The village... Drydin, in Yasha's Forest." Her voice shook as she tried to give a specific answer, all the while afraid of what might happen if she did not. At the same time, she was afraid of being honest. Perhaps she should have made something up, but now it was too late. New fear welled up, and she whimpered her own question. "W-Why?"
-----
"This way." Yuki stated without hesitation, gaze trailing down the hall. As he'd reached the top of the stairs, a familiar scent had lingered in the air. It was Hitsu. He could smell her, and her fear. It frightened and angered him, and he was determined that he would find her, and that she was very close. "She's here, I know she's here." He murmured, quickening his pace as he glanced toward each door, pausing only when he reached an intersection long enough to determine which direction she'd been taken. "Left," He said, and continued on. If the scent was this fresh, he could find her before anything happened. At least, he hoped so.
Then, he stopped dead in his tracks. The window he'd glanced through, there was someone there. His sister, he had found her. "Hitsu!" He shouted, reaching for the door handle and jiggling it franticly for only a moment before realizing that it was no use. "Damn it!" He pounded against the door, and gave a loud demand to Suto. "Give her back, you b*****d!"
"Yuki?" Hitsu gasped, wide eyed as she tried to look toward the door. "Yuki!" She called with more confidence. It was his voice, he'd come for her! He'd find a way in, and get her and Mitsu away from this horrible place.

“Its all a matter of learning who you are my dear.” Suto placed the needle down, satisfied with her answer. She had been honest he could see it in her eyes. “By learning where you come from I can gather how you lived, what you were around, and what you were exposed to.” He was about to ask the next question but his assistant brought him the results of her blood work. “Sir, we have the test results,” The tech held out a hand full of printed paper. Placing the needles aside, Suto took hold of the papers and shuffled through them. To most the papers would look like a stream of endless numbers and code, but to Suto it was poetry. Shooing the tech away, Suto took one the task of reading over the results carefully, flipping to one page and then back to the previous one. omit “Ah,” Suto smiled over the papers. “You naughty little lynx, you did lie to me.” Setting the papers aside Suto took up the needles again, taking a new one from his bag and holding it above Hitsu’s inner elbow. “You’re part human.” He was about to plunge the needle in when he heard a rustling at the door. Standing up straight he cocked his head to the side to see who it was. For a moment it seemed like he was about to say something but they suddenly had visitors. Shuffling his papers back into order Suto set them aside before turning toward the noise. The pounding didn’t seem to impress Suto much, nor did the lad’s demands. When Hitsu yelled out his name, however, a grin twisted at the corner of his lips. “Is he to be your savior? He’s quite noisy.” Moving away from Hitsu and toward the door casually, Suto stopped a good four feet away and smiled at Yuki through the window. “And what if I refuse? You’re not really in a position to make demands on the other side of a locked door in the mist of enemy territory.” Taking a few steps back, Suto thought of something. There had been a new break through with gene splicing that he had wanted to try. Of course, his last subject had died but what did it matter if this boy died as well? It would be one less thorn in his side but in the mean time he might possibly have a willing subject. “On the other hand, I have a proposition for you.” Taking his leave for a moment, Suto shortly returned with a vile of blue liquid. Approaching the door he held it up for Yuki to see. “Drink this and I will assure Ms. Hitsuzen’s well being.” Kneeling down Suto slipped the vial into the small slot at the bottom of the door and stood back to his full height waiting to see what Yuki would do. “Of course, if you refuse. There will be consequences.” Following Yuki, Neko kept a look out for workers or security, anything or anyone really. It was more than obvious that Yuki was over looking this important fact in his one-track minded state. Pausing as Yuki took a turn to the left, Neko looked down the other way, giving himself a chance to catch his breath. Looking behind himself he could see that the once small trail of blood droplets was becoming more of a steady stream. Frowning, he turned toward Yuki as he started banging and yelling through a door. He must have found her! Rushing toward him he stopped short of Yuki by about three feet, “Is she in there? Is she okay?” Leaning forward Neko caught his breath again, the pain shooting through his side like razors one after the other. It took every thing he had to not double over at this point and lay cripple on the ground.

Yuki growled at the man as he approached, though silently thankful that his attention was away from Hitsu. For a moment, Yuki stared toward her. She was moving, and since she was talking to him Yuki was led to believe that she was alright. I'll get you out of here. He promised in silence, looking back to Suto as he left a good distance between them. "I might be..." He started, referring to Suto's comment about the door. "But you're standing awfully far away. Are you really convinced that you're safe?"
Suto got a sneer at the talk of a proposition, and when he returned with a vial Yuki looked at it distastefully. There was a short pause, and Yuki reached for it. Holding it up in front of his face gently between two fingers, he examined the semi-transparent liquid for a second or two, and casually tossed it into his left hand. It felt cold against his palm when he caught it, but this was dismissed as nothing important. Right hand balled into a fist, and he thrust it hard at the window. Jaw set, he gave no noise of discomfort as glass cracked and shattered behind the force. He quickly withdrew his hand once this was done, and hurled the vial back at him. "You drink it, I'm not stupid." Poison, Yuki had decided. This man was trying to poison him, and he wasn't about to go along with his plan.
Hearing Neko behind him, Yuki offered a quick response as he turned to look over his shoulder. "I think she is, I just can't get in." He then frowned, at the sight of the blood staining the floor. Something wasn't right, he was bleeding worse than before. Shouldn't it have healed by now? "Are you...? Why isn't it regenerating?"

Raised brows were about the only reaction Yuki got to the broken window in the door. It was the most surprised look Suto could muster; things being broken around or even on him were fairly common in the lab. The vial being hurled at his head was, however, a little new and Suto didn’t take kindly to it. The glass easily broke upon contact with his forehead leaving little cuts where it had hit. A small trickle of blood began to stream down his face along with the blue liquid to which Suto blotted at with his hand. At the sight of blood he only smiled as he turned his attention back to Yuki, clenching his first.
“Very well then. I see you have made you’re decision. And as promised,” Suto gathered up some shards of broken glass off the floor and slowly moved back toward Hitsu a glint of sinister intentions on his features. Coming to a stop behind the table Hitsu was on, Suto reached over it with his free hand and pulled Hitsu’s hair away from her face and pushed her head down on the table to prevent her from moving. “There will be consequences.” Taking the hand full of shards, Suto returned the favor of his bloody face by smashing the broken shards into Hitsu’s. Grinding the spiky pieces of glass in he paid little mind to the fact they were also boring into his own flesh, ripping and tearing. If anything, he seemed to be enjoying the pain.
Once he was satisfied he pulled his hand away from his work and released Hitsu’s hair. Brushing and picking the shards of glass from his hand Suto wiped the blood off on his lab coat before taking his glasses off. Cleaning them with a sleeve he turned his attention back to Yuki and addressed him in a very business like tone. “Now then, shall we try again?”
---------
Neko strained upward, pain evident on his face. Unsure what was going on he held back waiting for Yuki to tell him what was going on or what to do. When asked on his condition, however, Neko faltered. “I’m fine.” He spat the words out in a bit more of a defensive manner than was really necessary. He was beginning to wonder, if they all made it out of here in one piece, how much longer would he last? He was slowly bleeding to death as it was.
Now that the glass was broken in the door, Neko could hear quite clearly into the lab and strained his head up to see if he could look. What was going on? What did he mean by consequences?

Foolish as it was for Yuki to have ignored Suto's words, he turned from Neko soon enough to see the man approaching Hitsu. He paled, "Y-you stay away from her!" His demand clearly fell on deaf ears, and only a moment later his sister was screaming. Yuki's stomach lurched, and he grabbed hold of the edges of the window as though he could pry it apart. "NO!" He bellowed, eyes wide in shock and horror. "Leave her alone!" Never had he felt so helpless, so useless. He could see her, hear her, but there was nothing that he could do to get to her. He wanted to threaten this man, he wanted to rip him apart... But, he couldn't. Suto was well out of his reach, and Yuki couldn't stop him from hurting Hitsu.
Suto's returned attention brought a very audible growl from Yuki, his hands gripping the small window frame. He bled onto it, from one set of knuckles as well as small shards at his palms that had stayed in place when the rest of the glass had fallen away, but he didn't seem to pay this any mind. You sick son of a b***h... The words came so easily to mind, but he did not speak them. There was a long pause after Suto's question, in which Yuki stared at him hatefully. There's nothing I can do, not yet. As much as he hated putting he and his sister's life into this man's hands, he had no choice. Deny, and witness more torture. Accept, and maybe, just maybe he would leave Hitsu alone. Yuki looked toward Hitsu, sobbing and whimpering where Suto had left her, and back to Suto. He nodded.

“What the ******** just happened?” Neko couldn’t get a good view of what was going on and he could barely see Hitsu with Yuki in the way. “Hitsu? What happened to her? What did he do?” Apparently he too was ignoring his wounds at the moment, something had happened, something bad. There would have been no other reason for Hitsu to scream out like that unless she was being tortured. Catching sight of Suto Neko growled as well. There was no doubt in his mind that man was the cause of this.
Unsure if he should say anything, encase it might entice this crazy man to hurt Hitsu further, Neko stood back and listened. He had seen Yuki with the vial earlier, he could only assume that Suto wanted him to drink it. But what did this mad man have in mind now.
To Yuki’s nod, Suto radiated with glee. “Excellent.” He replied in a dark tone as he took his leave again and returned with yet another vial of the same blue liquid. “Need I warn you though, try your previous stunt again and I will kill her.” Snapping his fingers for one of his techs he handed the scrawny man the blue vial and pointed toward the door. “Hand this to him through the small hole our guest has made in our door.”
Taking the vial the small man looked at the door nervously and took his time making his way over to it. “Hurry along now, we don’t have all day.” Suto called behind him forcing the tech to pick up his pace. Once at the door he looked up at Yuki through the hole that had once been a window, fear evident in his eyes as sweat began to bead up on his face. Holding up the small vial, the man held it out for Yuki to take, his hand shaking. In his mind he expected this man to pull his arm through the window and detach it from his body, though he always expected the worse in this place.
“I don’t know about this,” Neko said warily staring at the vial being held out through the window. “What proof do you have that Hitsu will be okay?”
While Yuki was busy, Suto made his way over to his desk just a short distance away and pressed the com button to contact the lab downstairs where more of his workers were. Leaning into the microphone, Suto spoke softly so as not to be over heard. "Please send a few techs up a floor with some restrains. There are two gentleman here to volunteer themselves for science. Be sharp, they don't know they've volunteered yet." Once he was done he took his finger off the button and moved back into his previous spot as if he had never moved.

Yuki stepped back from the window reluctantly, he'd finally begun to notice the pain of the glass. He wiped his bleeding palms on the sides of his shirt absently, managing to rub out any sticking glass as he did so. Yuki did not answer Neko, he regretted doing what he had and he didn't want to explain. He only watched as Suto directed one of his associates to bring him the vial this time, and inwardly Yuki held a trace of amusement toward it. He was more of a coward than he let on, he didn't want to get too close. However, Suto's threat on Hitsu's life scared Yuki, and he knew better than to test and see if this weirdo would go through with it or not should he retaliate again. Whatever this substance was, Yuki had to take it. He could only hope he wouldn't be the one ending up dead.
He reached out for the vial, resisting the strong urge to bring the tech's fears to reality. If Hitsu weren't in danger, he would have had real reason to fear the safety of his arm. Instead, he took the vial between his fingers gently, and withdrew to look it over again. Something in the back of his mind was shouting at him, telling him that this was a bad idea. He gave one last look toward his sister, and carefully removed the rubber stopper from the vial.
Yuki turned to look at Neko, an apologetic look in his eyes. If this really would poison him, Neko would be leaving alone. "I don't." He replied, lifting the vial to his lips as he moved again to face the window. Surely this psycho wanted to witness whatever this was going to do. Swiftly, he tipped the vial up and swallowed its contents like a shot. He would have shattered the vial on the floor, but forced himself to hold it out for the tech to take, just encase Hitsu would be punished for it.
Just as soon as the vial was returned, what had felt like nothing more than a chilled liquid suddenly started to get colder. Not unlike the sensation one might get from swallowing something frozen too eagerly. It started at his collarbone, and traveled down to his stomach. It made his head hurt as well, and he groaned softly. He brought a hand to the base of his throat, where the sensation was the most uncomfortable. It didn't want to ease, and the his grimace made obvious his discomfort. He gasped, only to choke on the air that felt as though it was freezing his lungs. Why was it so cold?
[I hope it was alright for me to make up effects, it seemed like it would be fun. XD; God knows if they're stupid or not, I can change things if you want.]
