Gin smirked-she she didn't want to go home-he didn't blame her-he didn't want to go home either... But... they couldn't stay here. His golden eyes darted side to side, seeing the waters rising steadly. When he started to move towards them-he noted that she didn't follow. He stopped and turned to give her a look of 'WTF' but... he caught the look on her face-the look of fear.
He hurried to her, pressing his shoulder against hers. 'Nanu... come on Nanu... We need to move... follow me... Just close your eyes and follow my shoulder-I won't leave you..."
He stared at her hard with his golden eyes. He nudged her and nipped at her cheeks to wake her back unto life. She needed to move... or they'd both drown

When he nuded her.. she didn't move but once he nipped at her.. she shook herself out of it. Closing her eyes just as she was told. She shivered.. Now everything was dark! But her heart thumped.. feeling his shoulder... He was... her guide. Volunteerly! Not like the 'guards' of the pack that HAD to keep tabs on her.
Her tail waved lowly til it hit his- and subconsciously she curled it around his tail. She gave another squeel before she pushed more against him and started to walk.. side by side. her heart racing now again as the fear.. held a close grip around her.. Drowning.. thunder. She hated storms! As she walked.. there was no mistaken that she was riled up and shaken over the whole ordeal. Usually she was in the cave with her grandmother at her side. Taking care of them and her sisters.
HER SISTERS!? Her mind raced.. were they ok? In this weather. Wait. They had to be. The guards of their pack wouldn't have them hurt at all. They. Were good.. Except when it came to Nanu since she was so dark she could slick away at night. She felt the water rise now.. even more! Past her knees! She gulped big.. trusting him with all of her...

Gin moved on, feeling her shoulder against his as a beacon-a reminder that she was in danger and that they both could easily drown. His golden eyes outshone the moon as they went-the dark pup and the light pup-fused at the shoulder. He felt the water rising on his legs and he grunted, moving a bit faster towards the ground he could see-ground that was higher and safe.
He hoped his family wasn't getting to worried-his mother and father were probably so frazzled with his sibilngs they wouldn't notice his absence. Finnally, he felt the ground rising slowly under his pale paws. "Yes... Nanu... we are almost there-don't worry. " He said, his voice reassuring and strong.
He stepped up onto the highest spot of the area and gazed upwards at the log that he was sure would protect them from the falling rain and the rising rain. "Look up Nanu... I need you to climb up and into that log... okay..."

Now, she looked more like a blind dog than she did a mute on. Her ears slicked back and soaked as though she were some wet rag plushie. Her tail waved heavier than she had ever felt it. She listened to his voice and felt where he was going and went straight along. He.. was her guardian in a sense. To stir her way through..
When he said almost there, her tail began to wag but it didnt seem like she should do so. Since it weighed now almost a ton it felt, with her body. Keeping up with him proved hard- now that they were there. After a few. She opened her eyes to see the log in front of her. She looked for him for accepting what she would do and she started up for the log.
Her paws finding it hard to keep steady in the silky grass. When she was almost there from the ground rising.. and the water not that far behind. Her body pushed up and fell repeatedly after but still she pushed on against th rains and winds and finally got there. Crawling in almost immediately, Her paws planted to each side to balance the log from rolling away. It didn't seem like it would.. Being almost months and maybe even years since the tree collapsed in the first place.
When she finally thought of balance, she made her way back to the opening of the log, stick out her head to watch for him- making sure he was right behind her.
- CRACK~ CRASH!! -
The sound of a tree breaking~ echoed throughout the forest..

Gin felt a closeness to her now-one that he felt was going to last forever-at least he hoped so. As the rain fell upon them-Gins' silver spots smoothed and blended into his white fur, making him appear to have a saddle. He watched her climb up onto the log and inside it-as soon as her tail was out of view -he climbed in after her.
He turned and stared out at the raining storm before he slipped in beside her. His golden eyes stared hard-eager to see anyone who would dare try to disturb his silent lady... Anyone.
Seeing nothing-he slid in beside her, shaking the wet water from his coat. He licked the drops off his nose- and was about to start to clean her dry when the crash of the tree outside their own-startled him. He sprang foreward-in front of Nanu and a vicious growl escaped his pup maw. Fur on end and eyes blazing-he was ready to defend her-but when his mind comprehended that it was only a tree-he turned back to her and began to groom her face.
"You alright Nanu?"

Nanu squinted her eye at him. Her breathing calming down after the crashing of the tree. This.. was bad. Horrible in fact. A big storm in the forest.. she hadn't ever been in a storm and had been out playing. She was usually in closed caves.. Her tail flapped around and watching his golden eyes.. she pawed softly at him.. nuzzling softly and giving him a reassuring lick to his white nose that she was alright.
Her ears slicked down her face.. as she lifted up a lil.. looking out to the rain.. And A few moments later.. She heard a squeeling. Her ears pricked up and a small fox started jumping to each rock and started jumping along.
"PRINCESS! PRINCESS!" Came from the fox's maw. Yelping as she slid across the slippery rock. "Princess Nanu!!!" She called out passing right before the log's hole. She stood in front and she had before heard a growl..and a bark. She hoped it wasn't nanu.. Hoping she wasn't in trouble. "PRINCESSSSSS ARE YOU OK!?" She yelled out worried. Her tail flapping around as she jumped on top on the broken tree. The fox'es ears pulling back... She was getting soaked! But she didn't care. She was Nanu's personal guard.. Why had the Nanu told her not to come.. A humming bird chirped and settled on top of the fox'es head. Helping to see from the view. "Its a storm.. your a bird youll get hurt please. Ill find her!"
Nanu pushed back inside the log and dug her face in Gin's wet fur. Blushing brightly.. She didn't want him to know she was a princess! why !!! Did the fox guard come after her!

Gin was all into staying the night and walking her home in the morning. Then, he caught sound of someone calling-and he stood and crawled to the opening of the log. He stared out at the fox-and caught the words she spoke-and felt his ears twitch in confusion. A-A princess?
He turned to look at Nanu for a moment-she was burying her face in his fur.
"Nanu... is a princess... " He said aloud, looking back to the fox.
He sat there, his mind racing. A princess... of course she couldn't have told him who she was... He didn't blame her... what must she think... that he was going to be her friend only because of it... He waddled backwards till he was against her-staring out at the fox.
"She's in here Fox..."

Nanu's ears sprung up and she looked at him with pledge. But it was too late. He had already summoned her fox guardian.. and she could escape now. Her ears slicked to the back of her head.. Why.. why did she have to call out her name!!! He wouldn't have known.. he wouldn't have known....
The fox turned as she heard the boy and the fox with no hesitation ran towards him. The big had already flown off and now the fox was there... Staring in to the golden eyes which inhabited a being that held the princess behind him. Princess of the Dog pack.. Of higher importance. The fox was soaked.. from paw to ear tip..
She breathed slowly now.. as her heart raced.. Then she lifted her head and stood up very tall on all fours.. Bowing her head a moment. "Please.. tell me you have seen our-" Her eyes wondered and saw the little pup soaked and shivering.. Even burying her head on a 'rogue' dog's fur.. How... !!! Scandalous! The fox's cheeks buried in blush. "Ah.. Im sorry but please if you could hand the Princess over.." She lowered her head to the pup princess. "Now now.. come along your highness..."
Nanu looked up and nipped at Gin's side with a whimper and started backing away to the middle of the log.. Not wanting to leave. ..

Gin narrowed his eyes at the fox. So-she was Nanu's guard of sorts. He sniffed the air, not smelling per-say but rather-showing distaste. He clicked his tongue at the foxes words. Hand the prince over-as if she was an object and not a girl. He felt coldness come across his eyes. She wouldn't leave if she didn't want too... at least not while he was around.
"Sorry... But Nanu only leaves if I come with her... just to make sure she gets home okay... " He said, firmly and assertively... as though he dared the female fox to say he couldn't come...
"If she falls... you won't be able to help her up-your too small..."

She looked up at him blushing brightly. Wha? She thought to herself..
The Fox looked at him. Stunned that he would say such things. "You? To our pride? An outsider? Why.. I have never heard such-" From the corner of her eye she could see Nanu getting close to this boy. Rogue- it was scandalous!?
"Excuse me but she is .. A PRINCESS. She needs to come with me right now. Come along Your highness." The fox said properly-staring at Nanu with eyes that she should obey, it was her duty.
Nanu's ears dropped as the fox commanded her. She shook her head and pulled on Gin's fur a bit..
The fox's ears shook as she did her head. "YOUR HIGHNESS! PLEASE! Your the pack had been worrying! We must make haste!" She pleaded now. Nanu usually did this to her- ran away.. Nanu looked up at Gin and then the fox- shaking her head no.
"Your highness!!" The fox lent over shiftly and nipped the back of Nanu's neck- pulling her out with some difficulty. But finally managing her out of the log at least, with much to Nanu holding on to Gin's fur as best as she could before letting go and being tucked in to the fox's grasp.

It was obvious that his fox was not going to let Gin follow them all the way home-but... he'd damn well follow half way or so... at least so that Nanu could walk and the Fox wouldn't carry her. He felt a growl escape his maw-not one of aggression but one of irritation. He stepped up and quickly disengauged Nanu from the grip of the fox. Standing protectivly in front of Nanu-he looked at the fox with disgust.
"Then I'll go half way... and Nanu will walk beside me... you don't need to carry her-she isn't a new born. For calling her 'princess' so much-you act as though her paws can't touch dirt. I'll follow half way... and then I'll leave-since it obviously disturbs you that I have no pack of my own. It would be a shame for my 'dirty' bloodline to even cross the pack borders-right?" He spat at the fox, his golden eyes blazing. He looked back to Nanu-with a much diffrent look to his eyes. "I'll go half way... then you have to go home Okay Nanu?"

The fox snapped back when the other put his forward steps.. Between them. There.. was no way she could get them away form each other. For NOW. Her tail flickered and then she nodded. "Fine.. But she will NOT leave with you!" She growled properly.. Yes. A proper one that showed class.. Getting to know the fox she wasn't that bad.. But she couldn't help but be protected of Nanu.. It was almost as if she were her mother, But thankfully she nodded and took another good look at Nanu before stepping up and turning in the way of their pack.
Whether this boy would go back and tell of their pack.. She couldn't know but she wouldn't let that happen... Half way was fine. And then Nanu wouldn't see him again. Well thats what the fox thought. Rogues did that.. they usually didnt come back to the same spot.
Nanu gave him a confused look.. He was coming to her pack!? Her heart filled with happiness and she couldn't help but let out a giggle as she stampered to his side. Even her fox monitor said yes to this! He was amazing! All in all. Her tail wagging happily.. And her ears went up.. making her blush a bit. When he said she HAD to go home.. She felt.. somewhat sad... and she didn't know completely why.. But she nodded in promise to him.. She followed along abit.. Her head a lil low.. as if this were gunna be a goodbye.. and everytime someone said that to her.. She wouldn't ever see them again.. Her tail hung low a bit..

Gin eyed the fox for a moment and decided to ignore her for the time being... he guessed it was her job to make sure Nanu was safe and he didn't blame her. He gazed back at Nanu and smiled at her-his eyes glittering. It was sad... that they'd have to part half way there-but... something told him that they'd meet again... someday.
"Don't worry Nanu... it'll be alright...smile... please?" He said, winking at her charmingly. He didn't want to see her so sad, but it was inevitable. And it was true... he was only a rouge... and she a princess-it was not proper for them to be seen together-as friend or anything else.
He padded along behind the fox-observing the area. He was taking into perspective where he;d have to go to find her again. Heck yeah.. she was fun... so he was damn well gonna find her again... they were friends.

She looked at him... And tried to smile.. And sure enough it came out just as bright.. except with a grim to it.. Her tail wagged a little.. showing that.. She shouldn't a like this.. Proper. She pushed him a little on his shoulder.. as they did when it was so much rain..
Softly prancing and she took a small hop. Enough to reach his maw and n** at it a lil. Giving him a lick on the cheek when she planted herself down again. She didn't want to leave a friend behind.. Exspecially him.. he..was so kind to her. Understood her.
She gave him a light smile then.. with a blush over her cheeks.
The fox turned a bit to peeked. Was... no. She couldn't have just showed affection.. She shook her head and looked forward.. her nerves in a bunch.. if .. if anyone saw them.. What would they think!? They got nearer to the border of where the tree's were makred with sharp claws. Theyre sign.. their smell and pack. Nanu didn't even realize this, paying attention to more Gin than anything els.e Like a child would to a new toy.

Gin smiled at her. She was so sweet-perfect Princess material indeed. How could he have not seen it before. She was the perfect princess... everything about her screamed it... wait... no... she didn't. She was diffrent than what he thought a princess would act. He really didn't know how one would act though... He-a rouge... with no real future... and she...
He could barely take it all in. He head butted against her-a chuckle coming out of his mouth. He caught the fox's look and felt something grip his chest tightly. He spotted the markings of the pack... and he started to fall back.
"Nanu... I know it may not be soon... but I hope we meet again." He said, his head nodding. He stepped up to her chest and tucked his head into her neck-and said as quietly as he could. "I know where you live now... so I'll stop by occasionally and leave you things or something-okay? Don't be sad... little Nanu... For i will not forget you."
And with this, he stepped back from her and sat down.
