The elf wandered down the hall of his home.
What a predicament the two were in. He didn't mind a guest in the home... it would probably help out since he had three other children in the home... sometimes four.
"Will this work out for you?" The elf questioned Noor. The elf then turned around and wandered back down the hall and towards the room the two had first entered. His eyes went straight towards the pots.
"NOOR!! Come quick!" Kyo shouted.

"Yes, it's fine," Noor answered, sitting on side of the bed and smiled meekly. After he went back to his work room, she sighed again. Calm down, girl. Calm down. He wasn't going to hurt she. Right? Right. Noor certainly hoped so.
Her thoughts and seemingly silly fears were interupted by Kyo's loud scream. Startled, her heart beating like crazy, she breathed hard and fast. Calm down, calm down. Get yourself together.
Fastly walking she made her way to the room where Kyo was.
"What's the matter?"
She hadn't noticed the change that was happening to their leaves yet.

At last, some attention! They were getting somewhere! Being given the time of day only seemed to make the leaves transmogrify faster. The fur grew thicker and the leaves themselves became larger. A thrashing overtakes them from within.
The pots rattle.

The elf's eyes drew in closer to the pots. Fur? Rattling? In all his times in his career he has never seen a pot do either of these.
"That!" The elf muttered in surprise as he chocked on his breath. "Thats not normal!"

"Huh?" Noor turned her attention to flowering pots. Instantly, her eyes grew at least twice as larger than they would normally be. What the?! What was happening? Were they attacked by a curse or something? Noor couldn't help feeling worried.
Although, she didn't feel the panic she had felt coming from leaf like when she had encountered the mystery leaf for the first time. Now, the feeling she felt coming from the leaf (or at least she believed the feeling came from the leaf) was more like.... inpatient. Like with a child who wants time to fly fast so she can go and open her presents at Christmas Eve. But what the leaf would want to do so impatiently?
Wait a minute.
"They're growing so fast," Noor pointed out. "At this rate, those pots are going to explode."

And explode they did! With a clatter of terracotta, the pots crumbled away from the growing white masses and dirt contained within them. The air grew very cold momentarily, and snow seemed to come from nowhere and swirl around the leaves.
And then, as quickly and mysteriously as it had come, it vanished, leaving behind two very pale toddlers.
