I felt is could have been better. But then I guess it's better than the "all's well feeling" you get with many other Watase stories. And Watase could've made it worse for her readers. She could've pulled a Paradise Kiss ending(for those that know it)!!
Overall, I thought it was disappointing. But then, I felt the entire series could've been more. Maybe it just wasn't my type of story from her. *shrugs*

i was so sad at the end crying i really wanted her to end up with night, but manga never ends the way i want it to evil if you really think about it, she didn't really end up with soshi either.

I liked the ending. Got so attached to Night (I get attached to the characters in Manga I like) that I really did not expect that (though it should have come to me that he won't last) and I cried a bit. I like this ending actually more than FY's ending; found that really cliche and predictable; haven't read Ceres yet (planning to after I finish TRC), but yeah all in all I liked the ending. Pretty sweet yet bitter.

I was okay with this ending. It might have been nice to see if Riiko got together with Soushi. But it was nice of them not to trash Night and keep him just in case they were ever able to repair him.

I was pissed. But slightly satisfied because I got to cry a lot.
I liked the live action series too (i felt a bit more depressed after it)

Yeah she did kind of do the same thing in Ceres. Maybe that is the kind of ending she likes righting the best. I'm glad that it was a happy ending, even though night died (tear).

Soshi was my favorite character from the moment he showed up, so I can't say I was too pleased with the idea of him getting left with sloppy seconds at the end. Plus, after it was clear that she had chosen Night over him, he would have been able to go off and have his own life, maybe fall in love with another girl... But no! He has to come back and take care of the girl that dumped him because the guy she chose died and because he's such a good guy!
Yeah, I was mostly pissed off for Soshi's sake. It really wasn't fair.
I'm hoping for a sequel cuz I wasn't happy with that ending.

soshi is a f** who deserved to die.
i hated him so much in that series. i never wanted to see someone get anally raped with something hard spikey and to tear up his rectum!

evil_tennyo it made me cry soo much! crying i wasn't satisfied... she left it open for the Soshi relationship, but going forward 10 yrs and showing a kid and her have a happy life with Soshi, thinking about her first love, would of been perfect Personally I disagree. I loved it. Of course, I'm an easy crier and it made me cry. A lot. So that might explain why I liked it. I also disagree with the Soushi part that evil_tennyo mentioned. I suppose it might have made it better for some people, but I never liked Soushi, so I hope she and Soushi never get together... Geesh can't he take a hint? Heh....
