Ayanna didn't even need to consider that, already knowing that was the best possible idea. With that, she gave him a nod in agreeance to it. "Perhaps you should find one soon? The foals can arrive at any time. You don't want to be unprepared... or at least, do it at the last minute and not be able to find a two-legger when you really need it." She told him, once again, nudging her belly lightly.

He looked at her belly with sudden trepidation. They could come at any moment? He had known that but somehow it hadn't sunk in until now. It'd be fun and great once the foals were around... but what about getting them out of Ayanna first? He had absolutely no idea what to expect where that was concerned. That would be what the two-legger was for... right?
He thought of the places he had seen them. They mostly hung around that one village and nearby. "Ok... I'll get one..." He thought for a moment and then looked back at Ayanna. "They can't understand us, though... so is there some way of telling them what we need them for? Or maybe..." He grinned. "I could just grab one, throw him onto my back, and gallop all the way here!"

The foals seemed to be shifting within her a lot more recently, which made her really uncomfortable, and was a sign that her own words were true and that they would be coming soon... probably today. She glanced to him when she had noticed that he was still there and staring at her belly. As if she didn't feel self-concious enough?! She let out a small snort, trying to keep her temper in line.
Shifting slightly, she closed her eyes when Haya had said that he would get them. Expecting him to leave then, she rolled his eyes when she heard that he was still there. "Two-leggers can understand body language quite well, so if you display urgency, they'll more than likely understand." She paused at his comment about grabbing one and running off with it and couldn't help but chuckle at that. "There's that too..."

Haya gave her belly one last look and a nod before turning in the direction of the village. "I'll be back with the best two-legger I can find!" His hooves scuffed over the ground and then dug in, launching him forward into a trot that quickly turned into a gallop. The best way to display urgency was to do it from the get-go and he had the feeling that Ayanna wanted the human soon. He still wasn't exactly certain how he would convince one to come with him but hoped that they'd figure it out somehow.
Just as he had expected, the kawani villagers were confused and some even a little alarmed at the half-kalona stallion tearing into their midsts. It was through much gesturing and lost communication that Haya finally got through to them. Haya brought the human back to Ayanna as quickly as he could. An attempt to ride him was abandoned after Haya leaped over one log too many and sent his rider sprawling. Because of that, the human was going full paced while Haya was only trotting. They arrived back to Ayanna with Haya practically pushing the human along with his head.
"Found one for you!" he shouted triumphantly upon returning.
(XD I don't actually have a villager character so do you think it's all right if they're just kinda blurry and there? If you have one you can play them...)

[That's fine with me. I have a Native character, but she's not fully fleshed out yet... so far, all I got is a general idea of what she'll look like]
When he finally left, Aya watched him disappear in the distance. It wasn't until some time after that she wondered if she should have told him that he should have made sure that the two legger he found knew what to do when the foals did start coming. She shook her head, figuring it was too late now and that he probably wouldn't know what to look for anyways.
As she waited, she found herself standing up again, it having gotten too uncomfortable to stay lying down. Even though now was a bit too late, she started to wonder if she was really ready for this. That thought left her as something approaching caught her eye. Looking up, she saw Haya pushing the slightly banged up to-legger to her. "What you do to it?" She asked, tilting her head.

"I didn't do anything!" protested Haya. He looked at the disheveled human and belatedly attempted to pat him back into shape. The human, seeing the barbed tail descending in his direction, seemed to get the wrong impression and instead dodged out of the way. Haya chased him with his tail for a moment before abruptly stopping and stiffening up innocently.
"Anyways, I brought you him. Maybe he'll make baskets for us now." The human noticed Ayanna then, eyes going from her unicorn horn to her round belly. Those two aspects combined seemed to put him at ease, even in the wake of the half-kalona harassment.

Ayanna just watched the scene of the two-legger avoiding Haya's 'attack' on him before quirking a brow. "... Right, haven't done a thing..." She said sarcastically, shaking her head and walking over to the two-legger tentatively.
Ignoring Haya's words for now, she eyed the human curiously before leaning down and snuffling at his hair. She had noticed that he had calmed upon sight of her, but didn't put too much thought into it. Sensing nothing wrong with the human, she looked back up to Haya. "Doesn't it need material of some kind to make baskets?"

"Material? Oh yeah... material!" Soon Haya found himself dashing through the forest to look for just the right kinds of branches and grasses. The human started weaving with each mouthful almost as soon as he had brought them back. Haya had never closely watched a human work and didn't have time to today but was impressed by what he saw. It was something a soquili could never hope to do with hooves and teeth. Hands seemed to be more useful than he had thought.
As he ran back into the forest for another search the reality of the situation seemed to start sinking in. He was going to be a father and it was going to happen soon. His heart pounded from more than just the exertion. Ayanna would soon give birth. He knew that without knowing much about the actual process. What would it be like? Would she be hurt by it? Could he do anything to help?
What would the foals be like? Look like?
His hooves drummed against the earth beneath him and he bit another long thin branch off a tree. He was going to be a father!
