What's dumb about the last place I got my hair cut is that men paid less. And I asked why and they said that women usually have more hair to cut off. I think it shouldn't matter the length of hair they cut off. I think they were just being stupid.
I'm not sure if they still do that but I'm not going back there anyway.

Since going to a barber shop for bangs isn't worth $20.
I rather try doing it myself, but I'm not very good at cutting my own hair... ._."

Any tips? biggrin Be careful.
Take a couple minutes to figure out the style of bangs you'd like.
Do you want them cut straight across? Or would you like
a bit of a layer-type look to them? How long would you like them too.
xD Asking your mom/dad/sibling(that you trust)
Is a good idea too, if you don't trust yourself to do it.

My whole hair was like a bowl cut nerd
it was aweful XD

Once I cut my own bangs
they ended up looking very weird and I had to go to the salon to fix it
the lady gave me a weird look when she saw how my bangs were and I made up some lame excuse saying I lost a bet and that's why I had such a weird cut on them
D;
but some people can really do it well... i'm just not one of them xD

I cut my own hair. But I always have someone check my job. and if necessary help me on what i cant get.

I noramlly get my nana to do it, she was a proffesional hair dresser at one point...but you're probably not be so lucky....

They shouldn't base the price on gender, but I do agree with charging less for less hair to cut.

I tried cutting my own bangs and messed up really badly. One of me friends messed up her whole haircut and had to get her mom to fix it. But her mom is a hairstylist anyway...

s4mgir1v3rsi0n I called her on the phone and she touched herself... I know I would be terrible at cutting my hair. I've trimmed peices before but nothing major. Just like bangs and stuff.. But yeah I'm kinda picky with my hair.. there's only one hair dresser I've ever gone to that I've really liked what he's done to my hair. And he's not even gay.. haha. I don't know off hand how much just a cut there is.. cause I got it cut and highlighted when I went so it was like $80 or something but it was really good.
Geeze that was in like June and that's the last cut I've gotten. =/ Haha. ...I laughed myself to sleep. Yeah, he'd definately so far from gay haha. He's all extreme sports and skateboarding and stuff. Your highlights grew out really nicely too.
