As Evan was too busy taking the information from Tyler to pay any more attention to her, Delilah idly turned her attention to the rolling, writhing Christian. She rolled onto her stomach listlessly and folded her hands on the edge of the nearest pillow, chin atop them as she studied him. "Christian?" she finally murmured, low voice carrying in the manner of a secret-filled whisper. "C'mere. Mama showed me a trick." She noticed Nataya and nodded slightly at her. "I can show you, too. If you want."

Nataya looked at the girl who, apparently, was talking to her. She nodded once, smiling a little as she stood up and made her way over to the older girl. She sat back down a couple feet infront of the girl, sitting her plum behind her so she could lean back against it. "Nat-yah likes tricks....." she said softly, trying her best to be as cheerful as she usually was.

Chris looked up, then rolled over, dropping down on his bottom when he got to her and looking up expectantly. Then he squirmed.

"You pat," Delilah explained quietly. "Kind of like..." She hesitated, not wanting to use the words slap or smack like Kiet had done when Mama tried to explain it to her. The trick didn't hurt like she heard slaps did. "This. You do this." She gently tapped at her arm with a flattened palm. "Just so you can kind of feel it. It makes it feel a little better without marking you up. 'Cause that's what will happen if you scratch. You'll get marks."

Nataya nodded, taking in the information. She looked at one of the bumps on her arm which was starting to bug her and mimicked Delilah's motion, tapping the troublesome bump with her hand. She smiled a bit more; that did make it feel better. She grinned up at the flower girl, giggling once softly. "Fank you, ma'am." she said politely, grateful for this new technique.

Chris tried it as well, only to scowl and reach for his earring. His hand stopped before he got to it. "Too tough," he muttered. "No feel it." Then he sighed and fell back on his back again, staring at the ceiling.
Sometimes being a good boy really itched.

Jace tried the patting: it worked for a little while, as a kind of counter-irritant, but she still itched afterwards. She sighed and snagged another juicebox, sucking it down angrily. Xi had left a whole container of them there and was peeling one open for Carlisle.
"You ruined my one chance at being kissed," Wisp told Evan forlornly, and flopped back down among the others again. "I don't want to go on an adventure. Unless it's an adventure to beat up chickenpox."

Kisala sighed. Well, obviously she was the only one going stir-crazy cooped up inside for -days-, so she scratched at the pox a second more, flopped over, and finally gave in, rubbing some of the stupid lotion she'd been giving over them.
She made a face, though, as they started looking all chalky and pink. "Ew!" she mumbled. But, at least the bumps stopped itching. She lie down on her side for a few more seconds before sitting up,
"Allright, so -now- what do we do? I'm tired of lying about all the time!"

On that list of parents who were flipping about the Pox was Ze'zee. As an alien and not native to Gaia, she had no idea what so ever what the spots on her little girl were. All she knew was that they didn't belong on Aurora. Rory was inclined to agree, if the miserable look on her face was any indication of this fact.
After some calls, Ze learned that this was Chicken Pox, that it was contagious and worse for adults (oh, well... great). She also found out that that the Liberty Center was taking care of the little ones who were sick with the pox. Which in her mind was a blessing. She didn't know what to do for Aurora and they would.
Without further ado, Ze and Rory arrived and they were lead into the room. Rory was cuddled up against her mother, looking around and not at all happy to be clothed. Clothes just made the itching worse. So much worse! her pale green eyes scanned the room, looking for anyone she know. Then her face brightened slightly at the sight of Chris and Wisp.
Ze sat her down on the floor before so Rory could go to them, before she went to Evan, to let him know of another arrival.

Luckily for Casia the chickenpox looked rather boring compared to what she wore as she and Anna walked in to the Liberty Center. Either Anna had gone colorblind that day, or she'd thought bright colors would make the bumps disappear.
Obviously, all they did was itch even more, causing Casia to fuss about and scratch them. This had gone on all week, and resulted in "soothing" baths, followed by heavy amounts of tea tree oil. Only today had the smell begun to wear off, and Anna's supply of the oil and lotion had run dry. So it was off to the Liberty Center for some information, perhaps a bottle -- no, a jar of lotion, and maybe a smack upside the head for Anna for being such a retard at parenting.
The worst part for Casia was that she'd contracted a sore throat from chickenpox as well, and whenever she spoke it sounded like a dying cat. The poor girl felt miserable and embarrassed because of this, but it was horrible to go out in public. So when Anna brought the girl to the Center, she was immediately shy and quiet as they walked through the doors.
Uh oh... I don't know anyone.. Anna thought, feeling quite awkward and nervous. She looked around for an empty seat, before spotting one next to Ze'zee. Casia, on the other hand, immediately spotted Nataya and waved wildly to the girl.
"NATAY-" she croaked, before covering her mouth and blushing lightly. That was a horrible first impression for everyone else. Anna chuckled and took a seat, while Casia stood in front of her, unsure what to do next.
"Go introduce yourself to the other kids, Cassy," Anna suggested, although she wasn't one to talk. The siren child blinked and looked hesitantly at all of the unfamiliar faces (aside from Nataya's).

Nataya blinked, turning her head. She then grinned, seeing Casia and waving to the other girl. She motioned for her to come over to sit with her, the pretty flower girl and with Chris. They could show her the 'pat-pat' trick!

"We could play I Spy," said Wisp listlessly, who had managed to be her old self enough to wave brilliantly at Aurora and Casia. "Or My Grandmother's Trunk. Or - "
" - or we could play no way that is retarded," her sister said, and rolled over again. At least she didn't have any poxes on her legs. Which, of course, were metal, and unpockable. "I'm kind of with Kisala on this one."

"Rory got spots too," Chris said, sounding as if the world had ended. "An' Wisp an' Jace an' Nat-yah..." He scowled, looking around as if certain that Antony would appear in the corner and he just hadn't noticed.
Thankfully (for both of them) Antony had managed to avoid this little scene. He sighed in gratefulness and started pat-patting himself and singing a little song beneath his breath as he watched the other kids.

As the siren baby looked around, she first saw Wisp wave in a friendly manner, and gave a shy wave back. Then she spotted Nataya!
Casia grinned, and ran over (nearly tripping over another child), before flopping next to Nataya. Giving a little wave to Chris, she turned to sed pretty flower girl and waved, as well. She immediately began scratching at her arm.
"I has chicken pops," she immediately stated, before nodding as though she double-checked this and confirmed it. "Noise hurts... Want drink." She rubbed her throat gingerly; not being able to sing both sucked and hurt.
Eyeing the container of juiceboxes like a hungry wolf, she got up and ran over to them, before halting as she saw a rather scary.. girl?... with metal legs and short red hair. All desires of juiceboxes quickly drained from her, and Casia began backing up, making little croaks of fright.

Delilah's attention was drawn from trying to listen to Christian's low, strange song when the other little girl squeaked. She blinked and then yawned, stretching out on her pillows more. "That's Jace," she informed Casia. "They're not her juice boxes. They're Evan and Xi's." She paused, nonetheless, and once more patted at her arms. "Jace, can she have some?" she called.
So maybe Delilah wasn't as spacey as she looked after all.
The bright-haired girl then turned her focus again to the small ones beside her. "I like your dress," she told Nataya before adding, "and your singing" to Christian.
