Dath took a moment to absorb in the shock that was flying off of the cheetah's face. It was brilliant, beautiful, something to take in and adore. How in Mkodi's name did his sister not enjoy anything like this? It simply did not make any sense whatso ever to him that she would fight against him in this. Females, they were all the same to him.
With a wave of his paw, that would probably only confuse the poor cheetah, he lurched forward, his wings following behind him as if they were barriers, blocking her back to run anywhere away from him. If she did try to flee, she would have to take the moment to turn her body to flee, or so the god thought.
He raised a paw to strike her, hoping to knock her out. It was his preferred method of punishment, and he was quite a good aim, but he had never tried to do anything to a cheetah...yet.

The moon was now a solid red, a rare color bathing the land beneath with it's rosy hue. The sun in the distance had melted into the earth and not all its light was fading into the oncoming night.
Even with the dying light, it was easy to see the massive paw that was about to strike her. Yatima had attempted to duck her head, and it clipped her just enough to send her spinning to the ground. The blow enough had the power to render the cheetah completely unaware of the world around her. Everything began to spin in a dizzying dance around her vision and she couldn't tell what was sky from what was ground.
Luckily for her, she was just conscious enough to stretch her legs out underneath her and the determined cheetah tried her best to stumble away. There was something in her that told her the attempt was futile, but she had to do something to get away from him.
Anything.
"What have I..." she heard herself whisper.

Dath growled at the foolish cheetah. She had seemed to have more fight in her than he realized, and his swipe to knock her out missed it's true mark. It still seemed to throw her off her feet, but not enough to his liking.
He flexed his wings, still trying to shorten the distance even more than what it was at now. He'd rather there be no distance between them, for then the chance that she could get away would be reduced to nearly zero.
His growl fleshed out into a short roar, frusterated that his prey was still trying to get away. Another swipe with his dark paws, going after her back and shoulders. Perhaps if he hit her there, she'd grumble again and he could finally relish in the fact whe she realised that there was no where to go.
That would be the next victory, for him.

The raking claws delved into Yatima's shoulder blade and she felt herself give a faltering howl of pain. Her claws dug into the dirt, as if she could anchor herself down, but the dust was so fine, so soft, that she had no where to grasp onto. The pain was just enough to send Yatima into a faint and her weakened body finally gave out from underneath her as the impact from the god's mighty paw sent her into the ground.
In her ears she could feel the throbbing beat from her heart. She, for the first time in her life, was absolutely mortified with terror. Her nose could faintly smell the dust of the dirt and she felt her muscles twitch in agitation. Yatima didn't know what to do. Serithi's lesson in hunting didn't mention anything about being attacked by gods!
Finally, darkness began overwhelming her vision and the cheetah gave one last howl of anguish.

Finally! His claws making contact, the god felt a sudden rush of pride as he felt the cheetah fall to the ground. The area where his claws hit were a good area, just into the shoulders where she would bleed a bit, but not to death, and not in any vital area. Sure, she would be in pain, but Dath didn't care about that though. A small piece of him didn't even care if she would survive or not. But in his thoughts, a piece of him did also wish that she would surivie, for a multitiude of reasons that constructed who he was; chaos.
The howl made his skin crawl in joy, but he did take a quick look around to make sure that there was no one nearing their area; the last thing he needed was something to complicate this matter further. When the moment passed and he felt confident that they were alone, he shushed the cheetah with a grin, and some words.
"No one can hear you, pretty songbird."
The red moon above them could signal as something, but if Dath had ever bothered to notice it, he would consider it a praise towards himself.
