Naomi stopped when she noticed Kayne wasn't moving quite as fast as she was.
"Don't worry, I can get you back here."
She smiled.
"And yes, just a bit" she added, "life is definetely no fun without playing!
I don't know how you've managed to come this far without it!"
Naomi looked him up and down, not rudely.
"Though, you've turned out quite well without it, if I may say so myself."
She giggled and continued forward, walking next to Kayne this time instead.

A brow lifted again at her eying him and the way she had said that. Was she flirting with him? He dismissed the thoughts and looked back down the path they were walking, "Well, then I guess there's nothing wrong with me having never played before if I turned out fine."

Naomi smiled cooly.
"Well that depends on why you've never played before.
If it's because you've had no one to play with,
than that's perfectly logical.
But if the reason is because you don't like to play,
well than... you've obviously never played with me before."

He glanced at her again, "Nope. Never played with you. Never played with anyone. Not much of a player." He snickered at the double-meaning to that last line, remembering the adult male he had first met when he arrived.

Keira tried to think of something, anything, that they could do.
Man, he sure wasn't making this "welcome, let's be friends" thing very easy...

He looked at her with a bit of a frown. "I didn't say we couldn't. I was just saying I never have before. I don't mind trying." His ears drooped a bit. "I've just never met anyone my size where I can actually 'play'. All I know is the dark male that I hate with a passion and Momma Bella. Both of them are big adults so they'd probably squish me if I tried playing with them."

Naomi's ears perked at the male's words.
"Oh! You must have met Azule."
Naomi giggled.
"No.. he's not nice at all.
Though, I've heard from Keira he's better by himself.
I just think that's 'cause it's her.
He's not nice to me either."
She shook her head.
"Anyways...how 'bout we play...
OOo! HIDE-N-GO-SEEK!
Let's play Hide-n-go-seek!
Wanna hide or seek?"
All that previous, built-up energy was kicking in.

Kayne shuddered at the name and muttered his discontent under his breath. "Yeah... him..." He glanced at her to speak of how illy he thought of that Minya but was interrupted by her sudden burst of energy. "Hide-N-Go-Seek?" he blinked confusedly. "How do you play...?"

Naomi's jaw dropped.
"You..??
Woah, dude, your serrrriously missing out here."
She took a large breath of air.
"Somebody runs and hides,
in this case somewhere in the forest,
and then the other person closes their eyes
and counts to a certain number,
and then after they get to the number
they go and try to find the person that hid.
Make sense?"
Naomi smiled happily with anticipation.

He blinked at her for a moment, confused with how she was able to get that out in one breath. "Um... Kaaaaay..." He sat down, tilting his head slightly. "So, who's hiding and who's seaking?"

"Okay! I'll count to 10 really slowly and then after 10 I'll come look for you, 'kay?!"
She stood by a nearby bush and covered her eyes with her bushy tail.
"Oooooone.....twwwwwoooooooo....."

He scurried off to find a hiding place, looking up and down for a good spot. Once he found the right spot, he slipped into place and curled his tail up around himself.

"TEN! Ready-or-not, here-I-come!"
Noami opened her eyes and looked around her for a minute before sticking her nose to the ground to find his scent.
Naomi circled trees, and stuck her head in bushes.
Her "follow his scent" idea wasn't working as well as she thought it would.
