The male sighed. "Yeah... you're right." White orbs looked down at the older banthi, towering over her. He laughed slightly. "Okay. I'll... try not to worry so much. It's just hard. I feel guilty for her leaving and possibly getting injured without anyone there to protect her."

Cristata nodded and looked down sadly telling him, "I understand completely, I have always been there to run to the rescue, even if I was late, I was there. The clan was always there, I think she’ll see the outside world isn’t as wonderfully exciting as she had always believed." It killed her to know that her daughter could be crying out for her and she'd never hear her.

Looking up to Al, she tried to be practical, knowing that worrying wasn't going to keep Tal safe, "Are you alright otherwise, Al?" Looking him over, she was never quite sure since unlike other banthi, there was hardly any way to tell how he was doing. She tired, always; to find a way to know she could do something if anything was wrong.

"The outside world isn't too forgiving, I can attest to that." He was a walking, talking example of how things could go the worst if young cubs were left alone by the death of their mother and without a clan.

"Huh? Oh yes, otherwise I'm fine." Yet there was always a hint of sadness in his voice, like he was lying just to keep everyone from worrying.

Cristata had always lived in the feral clan, thus never had to deal with the real traumas of the outside world, the Alphas kept them safe. Not only that, but banthi like herself were there to keep the younger ones safer. While she was an adult and a battler, she felt that she could take the outside world, but preferred the safety of the clan.

Picking up on that hint, she gave him a curious look to prompt a further explanation, but did not press. Thinking of topics to discuss, she realized she really didn't know him that well and was at a loss of what to say. Finally, she picked a standard question. "Its nice to see the caverns back to life, my cubs aren't the only litter of young ones and a lot of old friends arrived. Its really nice and I am glad to see your among the older members to return, when did you get back?" Rather uninspired from the fox banthi, but it worked for function.

Uninspiring or not, it was still nice to get off the subject of worry. "Oh right, I'm happy for you. That you had cubs." Al said, sounding a little more cheerful. He loved cubs even if he couldn't have his own. "I got back a good while ago, came with Faizah and her daughter Kasinda. I had to live with them, if I didn't I probably would have sat here rusting - what with my brother always off on his own adventures and all."

He wondered where his brother was... probably getting into trouble, no doubt.

Cristata smiled happily, she adored all five of her cubs and enjoyed being a mother. With Tal's help, she had a lot more time to devote to caring for her family. Although there was always support in the clan, the fox preferred to take care of her family herself, including hunting for them.

Hearing the names, she knew of Faizah, of course, but she wasn't too familiar with her daughter Kasinda. "That must have been fun; Lady Fai is a wonderful banthi to be around. I don't know Kasinda too well, but she seems like a happy young lady. Did you stay with the biped with the top hat?" Her name was Kit, she was sure of that. For the most part, the biped she left alone, but Kit and Rabid were the ones that took care of everything, so she was sure to know them.

Hearing about his brother, she had to hope he didn't feel too alone, seeing as his brother was off as was his mate. "At least there is a home for him when he comes back from adventuring. Before really looking at the books, the Feral lands used to be the world for me." She knew, of course, but then didn't that there was so much out there besides the safe place she lived in now.

"Yeah, Kitara. We stayed in her house with all of the other different species she takes in." The metal banthi gave a nod, knowing that his brother would be okay by himself... wherever he was and he knew where to come back to. Although like always Alphonse felt a little guilt at not being there alongside him.

He then let out a sigh. "Well, I better go start reading again. Brother would yell at me if he saw how much I was slacking." The large banthi stood up, his entire body clattering. "It was nice talking to you. If you happen to get any news from Tokala, let me know?"

Watching him, she smiled and said, "If I can get news to you faster then she can get to you, then I'll let you know." If Tal was anything like her mother, her first stop would be to find her mate. "Good luck in your search," she knew they were searching for something in the books, and that Tal and Al were looking hard. She hoped they find it, for all of their happiness.
