She blinked and stared at him, making a face when she described them, imagining how they smelt. She was about to ask him some questions about it, willing to forgive that he was clingy b*****d, when he started to act all high and mighty again!
She growled slightly and muttered something under her breath. "Well then for your sake I hope you don't come upon on unaware or something. Stuff like that happens you know. But if you do I hope it eats you up real quick." She hissed, getting angry again.
"And I don't have to do like my mother says, a**." She didn't have to do anything if she didn't want to. Some of the orders she did follow, some she did not. "Bigger and fatter so I am sure they would gobble you up real fast thinking how tasty and how much more you could fill them up!" She said, her voice raising with each word.
"Anyway. Stop following me." She'd turned the situation right around, as if he'd been the pest in the first place.

Frowning at her, at the truth of her words and at the tone in which she spoke them. Yen Ha growled in the back of his throat. "Listen shortstuff, if you hadn't disturbed my rest we wouldn't be having this conversation." He bristled. "And I'm not following you!"
He huffed, trotting after her. "You just happen to be going the same way as me so save your attitude for someone who cares" And with that he lowered his body and launched himself, jumping over her and trotting up ahead. Oh yes, he certainly was a tough one! He turned his head back and in the most childish manner, stuck his tongue out at her.
Stupid goldie brat.

Shortstuff! "Shut your mouth you gangly jerk..." She shot back, picking up her pace a little.
"Hey! Not fair!" She shouted, ears flattening against her skull. Walking in front of her like that! "Well go some where else then. Don't you need to rest again princess pretty paws?" She shot ahead, working herself up. She really hated him!

He whirled around, brows knitting together. Gosh what was wrong with this girl? Why did she keep insisting on picking on someone who was obviously better than her in every way. He slowed his pace, her words reminding him of his sore paws.
He did want to rest them!
"What isn't fair? Oh cry baby, cry baby. Sad because all your tough talk got you nowhere? See, I told you shortie, brains over brawn." He flicked his tail, smiling widely.
"I'll rest them when I want to. They're not so delicate that I can't outrun a short-legged cub." He teased, oh this was fun~!

Her eyes widened when he whirled around, for an instant startled and getting ready to fight. But then she remembered what a wimp he was. "I'm not a cry baby!" She yelled at him with a deep frown on her face and her eyes narrowed. "And at least I am not all-talk, unlike you." She wasn't exactly sure what that meant but she'd heard some older lions (probably around princess-paws' age) using the term 'all-talk' and she liked it. So she'd use it too!
"Anyways... I win!" She said suddenly as she raced forward and passed him, in her mind this was a competition of who could be first in line. And she would be it, princess paws could back off. "You just go some where else!" She yelled back again with a laugh. "Or are you following me because you're afraid of the hyenas?"
(a hyena. should totally show up. -shotshot- know anyone with a vicious hyena?)

He couldn't figure out why he was insisting on chasing the gold female, or why he was behaving so erradically. Was this some sort of competitive streak that had lain dormant, waiting for something to bring it life?
Yen Ha hurried after her, not wanting to be outdone by a cub whose brain was far smaller than his own!
But, his paws begun their fierce ache and after a few moments he was forced to slow. "I told you, shortie, there are no hyenas around here!" But he was perhaps a little frightened.
Then he sat, turned his back and growled. Stupid little...
(( That would totally be awesome, but I dunno anyone who has a hyena who is RPing at the moment ;o; ))

Pagao had been following the two lions for a short bit, out of boredom. He wondered if either could hunt, would hunt and then he could take away what was theirs. He wasn't in the mood to hunt himself but he was hungry. That proved to be problematic.
His ears flicked up and down and he kept a safe distance away. He didn't care for lions but he wasn't like some of the hyena who absolutely despised them. In fact if he had to pick between lions or his own kind he would pick lions, simply because of how his own kind acted toward him in the past.
He growled slightly to himself, my this pair was annoying. He almost felt like knocking that little girl over and ripping her a new.... ugh but why bother? He might make that older one angry... what were they, brother and sister?
But suddenly the white one turned around and sat, Pagao would be in full view. He froze and stared a moment, not sure what to do.
"And I am telling you that.." Vi started to say as she turned back to yell at him some more. But her words caught in her throat when she saw the wheat colored hyena a bit away, her eyes went wide. She didn't think they were right where they were! Was that really a hyena?

Seeing the hyena there was quite a shock, in fact so much so that the words were torn from him, leaving him gaping. His eyes bulged in fear, his legs trembled and the fur on his shoulders prickled upwards.
So afraid of the 'mongrel' that sat close by, Yen Ha didn't even hear Vi's sentence - cut off mid-flow.
Then, remembering his paws, Yen Ha backed up, desperate to put as much distance between him and the hyena. He settled just behind Vi, cowering slightly.
