Jera found the lack of this man's concern slightly disturbing but at the same time it suited the personality she was looking for in a donor. in the back of her mind Surisana was slightly intrigued by the thought of hiring him as bodyguard later and using the child as insurance of his cooperation. Shaking her head and blowing at her bangs Jera tried to focus.
" We shall continue this conversation in the living room where it's more comfortable." Takia was acceptable for her purposes now they needed to get down to talking business. The faster this was done and she could be tested positive the faster Nyx was free, hopefully safe. Surisana didn't doubt for a moment that Brosser and his group had done something to the woman. she was after all harboring a criminal.

Muffling a sigh of relief, Archie hung back for a moment. "So, he's okay? I can go?" He would stay if Jera wanted, but he couldn't find a reason he would be needed, and he really didn't want to stick around.
"I'll be right next door. I'm not going anywhere."

Takia glanced at Archie for a moment and then returned his gaze to Jera. He wasn't sure completely what was going on, or how this could go down but he might as well follow along and let her explain things out. This was all very weird and confusing.
Placing his hands in his pockets, the solidier moved to follow the centaur-like female. He hoped he didn't seem too indifferent in this situation, but really it was the only way he could cope with things he wasn't used to yet. At least, in his opinion, his behavior was better then Luci's. His step brother tended to be very open and enticing when you first met him but as time progressed he'd get cold and closed up with you. He was also glad he wasn't like Sasha. The man's halfbrother was shy and just held things back completely, regardless of how well you knew him. Takia just took adjustment. And suddenly being told he had to be the father of a big rumped fuzzy female he'd only just met's baby required a lot of adjustment.

Once she was inside the living room Jera relaxed a bit and settled down onto a bean bag chair. Both it's height and cushioning were more suitable form laying on then typical furniture. " So, Takia was it? I think this is going to be very interesting for the both of us." Jera was mostly trying not to smile at him, sure he wasn't the best possible candidate for this but he was certainly better than she'd expected. He had strength and influence, perhaps not a lot on gaia but on places where it could count, places she intended to be after this ordeal was over. In fact if she stuck to him perhaps she might find herself enjoying a much better second crack at life than she expected.

Takia nodded a bit, taking a seat across from her. "Well, interesting's one way to put it." he told her calmly. "And as my vocabulary's somewhat lacking, it's the only way I can put it."
This planet was odd, though a bit better then home in some ways. It was odd in the fact that it lacked the kinds of people he saw where he came from. Though a world without six foot purple incubi and gigantic pink butterfly winged witch-doctor boys, would probably not be hard to like.

An now time for an awkward silence, Jera wasn't certain exactly how to explain what she wanted without making it sound crass. In the back of her mind Surisana had no issues with a quick crass comment.
In the end she settled for a mixture of stumbling and crass, an explanation that with Lissels help she'd acquired everything required to artificial insemination and that in general not much was required on Takia's part.
" You can stick around though if you like" The words were hesitant . " You're better company than I thought you'd be."

Takia nodded smoothly. "I think I shall stay. There's not much to back home at present. Though I'd need to locate a place to reside for the time being.
