"That's right I am not related to her or her companion Sadie. I am not related to the winged stallion that lives with us either." he said wondering why she was so interested in his family. Didn't she have one of her own. "Why are you so interested in my family anyway? Don't you have one?" he asked rather boldly...maybe a bit too boldly and if his great-grandma found out she would be upset with his mannors.

"Actually, no. I've never had a family, really. I've been by myself as long as I can remember." November said, smiling bitterly. She thought about the winged stallion, thinking that it would be quite a sight to see. She hadn't met a winged one before. November didn't mind Avery's brashness. She was rather curious about him. He seemed very bold, but at the same time slightly unappreciative. She guessed that he had a lot still to figure out about himself. Then again, so did she. She was very naive, and knew little of the outside world.

Avery cocked an eye brow at her statement. He knew there were those that never had a family and grew up alone. One of his teepee mates had grown up that way. But it just struck him funny that this mare had grown up alone as well, yet had a much different out look on life than his teepee mate did. "Really? That kind of sucks. Do you know what happened to your family?" he asked wondering if it had been tragic like his teepee mate's or not.

November sighed softly. It was sad, she thought, but not as sad as other things. "No...I never found out what happened to them. I just never had a family. It's a wonder that a Kalona or a Skinwalker didn't pick me off...but I suppose I was lucky." November smiled at him. "But don't feel sorry for me. I've made friends over my lifetime. And I'll get a family one day, maybe."
