The large silhouette of a Ghost Sentinel emerged from the leaves' shadows. Wondering if she was on the right tree, Highfog's only hint was a couple eggs and two sleepy youngs. Oh, and a Skurri. Before she had the chance to try anything, painted pieces of bark read rather clearly she should not eat it. Better not take the chance. A tiny bit disappointed in this, she got closer to the fledglings, fluffed her feathers, and waited for Liam to meet him. She had a good feeling about this.

Grey offered a nod of acknowledgment to Liam as well as his companion. "Thank you for your kind welcome, Liam. I am Grey, and I've come to know if you would have another minder amongst your midst." A smile formed upon his features as he mused of the matter. "I have a fondness for the little ones. There are many of them this season, thus I and my companion have come to offer another pair of talons to assist you."
The parus mentioned had been concealing itself against its owner as best one could expect. Granted, the camouflage was not enough to deceive any creature, but offered a sense of security. Only once it was mentioned did the creature hop forward, it's matching plumage fluffing up as its beak parted and a few notes strayed from it. A welcome of sorts.

Liam smiled widly. Another Minder would be wonderful! "I'm sure Medlar, my only other associate, would be happy to have you join our enclave. We've just gotten some more young things needing attention, and you seem to fit the bill for our entrance exam! Unless you're hiding a Martes someplace, welcome in!" He turned around and waddled back through the entryway, craning his head back before taking off. "Right this way, and you can meet the little 'uns!"

A serious looking deep woods tried to sneak into the enclave, carrying a small hatchling behind him with his Will. He wasn't very good at sneaking, his militant walk gave him away from the start. Realising he had been seen, he straightened to what would have easily been considered a salute by mortal infantry and looked fairly embarrassed. "I have a chick.. This chick..." he said slowly, plainly uncomfortable. The Sentinel coughed slightly and rushed his next statement in the hopes that that would make it less shameful to him. "It eats alot and me and my mate have two, and we can't keep up with feeding them as much as they need, especially not with the current shortage." He bowed his head and set the barely hatched young Sentinel down carefully. "Please raise him well. His name is Sharpstrike. I am in your debt!" he called as he turned tail and raced away.

Nearly forgetting the male behind him, Liam rushed after the new arrival. "Hello, young Sharpstrike!" he called. "I'm Liam, and this is GreyMist! Welcome!" Another shape caught his eye. "And welcome to you, too, Highfog! It's always a pleasure to see you. What brings you to our humble enclave?"

Grey hadn't much the time to spread his wings than his host had returned in response to an arrival. The male lowered his span to behold the assessment of Sentinels. A guilty parent, two companions, a stranger, and a fluff. It seemed this day would be productive before he had the time to respond properly to such stimulus hitting him. The only instinct he acted upon was nodding in response to Liam's prior words, and moving towards the little fluff.
That was where his heart melt and he smiled. "Aww...Hello there, little one..."

"I have heard you were looking for a private Teacher for your nice little fledglings, dear Liam", said happily Highfog, "I'd be glad to take care of them! Just tell me what to do, and these cuties' names!" She hopped forward to take a better look of the small fluffballs. She couldn't help but love them already. Her cheeks puffed in delight.

"It would be our privilege, Miss Highfog!" Liam smiled widely. Highfog's reputation around Noctua was most excellent, and some female companionship for his dear Hazel would be nice. "The teeniest of them are too young for teaching yet, but we've got a pair of the brightest I've ever seen here! But, first, I must introduce our newest associate. Highfog, this is GreyMist. GreyMist, Highfog. And..." a nipping at his tailfeathers interrupted him, and he snuggled the little female close. "And this is Winterwind, and our other fledgling is Aspen. He's around here somewhere... perhaps he's with Medlar."

"Greymist, Aspen, Winterwind", repeated the teacher with a nod. "I think I can remember it. So... is there anything you want me to teach them in particular? I know many different, but essential and basic subjects. Like flying, what do you think about it, Greymist and Winterwind?" With a warm smile, she looked at them. "Lucky you, it's both a major and amusing thing to learn! Given you prefer the comfort of the trees to the dark ground, of course."

Grey turned his attention to the female and bowed. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss. I'm sure the little ones will enjoy your teaching. Especially this little one, hello there little one.." His gaze had followed Liam's towards Winterwind. The little one certainly wasn't shy, was she? "Perhaps we could round all of the fluff and fledglings up for an account? That being if they aren't currently engaged with something..."

Liam nodded. "Flying would be especially good, as I think they're both a little more inexperienced than they should be- with all the new eggs, I haven't had time to teach them much- and it's probably too early for specialization. I'll go find Aspen and bring him back here. GreyMist, Highfog, just make yourselves right at home. You can eat anything but the Skurri." With a great flap of his wings, he lifted off, calling Aspen's name.

Shadestar had been for well behaved and very quiet for a hatchling. Perhaps she had spent her Hatchling days in shock from her abrupt hatching, perhaps she had been so unnerved that she couldn’t bring herself to cry for food; well, no more. She was a fledgling now, and a hungry, vocal one at that.
“ I’m hungry!” She cried as she barreled out of the tree, promptly running into a Sentinel standing there. Falling onto her feathery bum, she sat there for a moment before realizing that the Sentinel she had run into was an adult, and that adults equaled food. So she gazed at them with round yellow eyes and demanded impertinently,
“ Gimme food!”

Oof! Just as soon as he'd landed, the female Ghost hit him square in the belly. Liam looked hard at Shadestar, studying her as he pulled a large dried mushroom from one of the nearby stashes. He handed it over to her with a talon, nodding "Y'know, Miss Shade? I do believe that you're ready to work with Miss Highfog. Would you like to learn how to fly? I was originally just planning for the two oldest, but if you wanted to give it a go, you could, I'd bet." He pointed with a wing. "Why don't you go over there and introduce yourself?"

Aspen has been inside the Enclave, nesting inside and poking about. His whereabouts always revolved around where either Melder and Liam where. If they where outside, he was outside and if someone was inside, he was usually somewhere watching what they where doing. He preferred being inside though. It was safe, warm, and dark here though anyplace that had a Minder was. Unlike the others, he had stuck like glue to the pair and watched, only asking questions when he felt his curiosity reaching it's limit for him to speak. Usually, he watched and observed and it was now common for the Minders to see a pair of large eyes watching what they where doing, no matter how many times Aspen had seen it, with due interest.
Though Liam was outside and Medler was not in the Enclave and as Aspen did not fly, he could not find them. Instead, he had decided to wait inside where it was safe and where someone was bound to appear. Instead, he was watching the tiny eggs, sitting together in their nests and watching them. He liked to think he was helping, but he was also amazed by them. How small they where and how vibrant in color and smooth. It made him wonder if it was cozy inside and egg and why he couldn't remember being inside one. Still, he was sure it would have been safe and warm, because daddy Melder and father Liam had been watching over them. That little thought always warmed him, as if that heat was always there from the start and would never be taken away. Standing guard, he heard Liam call out his name and Aspen perked up, his nubby eartuffs rising as he turned about. Liam was here!
"Liam!" He hooted, turning and making his way to the entrance. He halted when he saw Liam talking with Shadestar and more importantly, a new group of strangers behind them. It looked like a large crowd was here. Worried, Aspen lingered near the entrance, wanting to slink back inside. Still, he was called and he wouldn't say he wasn't where he was. Liam would ask him why he didn't answer if he did that.
"I'm here." He hooted out, eyes on the strangers as his eartuffs fell flat upon his head.
