"Hey!" Haya trotted quickly after Vis. He readied what he hoped would be a blistering retort but the worst he could come up with was, "Oh yeah?" He kept a stern look on his face for as long as he could, which was barely longer than an instant. Then it dissipated into another excited grin. It was hard to be too serious when he'd found his old buddy again and they both were going to be fathers soon.
"I bet they'll all be awesome!"

"Yeah!" he retaliated with a laugh. "Does the big high and mighty Haya have no response? The world has surely ended!" He chuckled and pranced ahead, kicking his heels a bit. Haya was one of his closest friends just as Cualtzin was when he was younger. He didn't have many close friends that he could have fun with and Haya sure knew how to bring the colt out of him.
"I know they will be. Both yours and mine will be beautiful," he smiled.

Haya wasn't really sure what else to say on that subject either. There were things that he could have said or that he wanted to but while chasing the prancing Vis he couldn't get them to form in his mind. What he did manage was a smile both amused and impish.
"Well I bet mine won't have rainbows! Not unless Ayanna has some explaining to do!" He bounded ahead so he was trotting beside his friend now. "That is... unless you decided to switch a basket so you could have a kid with such an awesome tail as mine!" He waved his tail and bounced back on his hind legs once, playfully inviting Vis to retort.

"I'm proud of the rainbows! I get it from my mother." He made a sound that sound more like a 'hmpf' and sidestepped into Haya's path just to throw him off. "Plus my mate has a much cooler tail than yours that is specifically for the unicorns. Face it Haya you just can't beat me. But we'll just see how you feel when the baskets come out. Mine will be so bright I'll have to hide them so you're not tempted to take them." Viscoso smirked at him and bounded towards Haya again.

Haya jumped out of the way as Vis bounded towards him, ducking around a tree to shout taunts from the other side. "I've never seen a unicorn with a cooler tail than mine! They're all fuzz! Fuzz can't do this!" He speared a fallen apple with his tail and flung it vaguely in Vis' direction. He didn't intend to hit is friend, just give him a demonstration of the prowess of a kalona tail.
"And mine will be bright too! Bright gold like the sun." He smiled proudly at the thought. Bright gold and with wings to take them to that sun.

((I'm gonna try and wrap this up a bit so they can go home and see their babies ^^))
Viscoso rolled his eyes at Haya with a chuckle. "Why would they want to do that in the first place, huh? Ooooh so your kids can throw apples what a great talent," he teased. "My babies will be bright and colorful with all the colors of the rainbow just like me with beautiful butterfly wings and horns to match! Much better than having some tail to spear things with." He pranced around with his head held high and his tail flagged, knowing full well that his babies would be gorgeous.
It was starting to get later in the afternoon though and he needed to bring his basket of apples back to Krysta to make sure she was doing okay. "Well Haya it was great to see you again but I need to go and check up on my girl and see if she's okay." Vis trotted back to pick up his basket and smiled. "You should probably go and make sure yours is okay too."

((good plan! biggrin ))
Haya was still grinning as Vis began his departure. It was amazing what talking with a friend could do. He didn't feel nearly so intimidated about the process now that he knew he had a buddy doing the same thing. Not to mention he had started thinking about the possibilities. The pointy horn and pointy tail! Wings! Gold and pearly white and maybe with his mother's colors anything in between!
"Yeah, guess I'll get Ayanna some apples too and then head back. See you, Vis!" Hopefully bringing her apples would be a good way to get a little more friendly with her. Instead of spearing apples he coiled his tail around them, collecting enough to hopefully satisfy her appetite. "Make sure to tell me when your kids arrive so I can come see them!" he called to Vis as he prepared to head back.

"Likewise Haya! I want to see those pointy tails on your kids," he chuckled as he turned and headed off with his basket in his mouth. Viscoso felt he had done some good with Haya that afternoon considering the shape he had been in when he first came along. Every father deserved to be happy about becoming a parent and now Haya knew what it was going to be like. The rest he could do on his own as he learned about the fatherly instinct that came along with his babies.
