spring, of course... here's a poem:
Four Seasons of Sorrow
Summer is always
A season of pain.
Our attempts to escape
Are always in vain.
From the land or the sea,
The hot air will come.
Bringing with it, the pain
That makes us want to be numb.
With the end of the summer,
Comes the season of fall.
Which makes us all wonder
Why we bother at all.
The season called Autumn
Is a season of death.
Plants start to wither,
They then breathe their last breath.
Ah, winter, at last!
The season of cold.
Wind grabs at our limbs,
Both the young and the old.
Cold grips our bodies
And down comes the snow.
Feelings of emptiness
We will soon come to know.
A season of life
Is what spring is viewed as.
A feeling of warmth
Is what one surely has.
But spring only prepares us
For the cycle again.
Four seasons of sorrow
And a life without end.
