Neo-classical is just an element added into the music, like Epic or atmospheric.

ashlander_alpha Isn't that more or less synonymous with symphonic? Orchestral has more of a focus on stringed instruments and Symphonic has some focus on harmony. So yeah I guess they are pretty much the same, just have a different focus.

Well, a part of my bands lyrics deals with French and American Revolitions so I guess my band is trying to pioneer Revolution Metal. I doubt it signifies as a genre if only one band is doing it though.

I doubt it signifies as a genre if only one band is doing it though. That's pretty neat. Like, that just seems a bit different and creative to me with the revolutionary theme. And if I'm right, France hand a handful of those so I bet there's a good amount to use right?
