Twilight's back hurt too much to twist and avoid the second fire blast. She hurridly whipped up a small shield of energy to protect her from the flames, though it quicky disappated as soon as the wisps touched it. Still, it prevented some of the damage from getting through.
Boy. She was really tired now.
Piney was astonished at what she just did. Twilight, a non-psychic Pokemon, used a barrier, like what Daybreak did sometimes with her mind. Maybe the Absol had a psychic heritage.
If she could train her to use it more, she would achieve so much more potential!
But the officer still had to focus on the battle. Leaning foward, she shouted eagerly, "Use that barrier thing again, and charge!"
Well that was different. Instead of the ususally ranged attacks, Twilight was suppose to actually hit her daddy. Maybe the barrier trick won't be so hard on him.
Managing to weave the shield once more, the rain added to her sweat as she sprinted forward. Maintaining this was hard work!

Just like her mom. Were Armageddon's thoughts as he was sent sailing by the psychic shield. That hurt. He got up painfully, hwimpering at his ankle. Dang, she sprained it!
Aen sighed, knowing this was going to end soon. Oh well, at least Armageddon got to 'bond' with Twilight in a sense. May as well go off in style. "Armageddon, do it!" He called, a smile on his face.
Armageddon gave a quick nod, and sat down, taking every negative emotion he could from the room. He even plunged into his daughter's own heart, draining away some of her darker feelings for the moment. Openening his eyes, they had become black, anolg with his gem and blade. It was finally time to show her what Daddy was made of.
He quickly jumped into the sky, sending forth a massive wave of Dark energies, then firing the rest off in cresent shaped waves. This was the ultimate Dark Pulse.

Twilight yelped as the bombardment of the dark energy swept across the stadium. She braced herself, but the Dark Pulse was too much and pushed her into the boulder. She shrieked as her back spurted more blood, dying her white fur pink.
If daddy had that much hate to create that kind of attack, doesn't that mean that he hated her?
Piney could see Twilight faltering, because of the massive Dark Pulse... and something else?
"Come on! We're almost finished here!" She shouted, encouraging the Absol to her feet. She needed to take a break from battling after this. "That's a good girl!"
"Now quickly! Give him another Psycho Cut!"
Twilight tried not to think about the wretching pain of her back, since it will only get in the way of this attack. Hopefully this move will finish the fight.
Tapping into the same energy she used for the shield, her blade glowed purple as it unleashed a large ghostly sword, bigger than the last one, straight at Armageddon.

Armageddon was still in the air by the time that the Psycho cut hit him, knocking him to the ground. His eyes began closing, that familiar and comforing darkness wahsing over him. Oh, the joys of unconciousness. But, he had to say something before he passed out. "Sol...Ab...sol." He managed, before falling onto his forced sleep. A faint smile played on his face, and he actually looked peaceful.
Zen ruffled his hair, making it even more messy than it ussually was. "You did a good job boy." He told Armageddon, calling him back into his camo ball. He quickly attatched the ball to his Belted armband, right next to his other daughter.
"Good job Piney! If you want, I could wash Twilight up for you!." He called, walking over to her side of the field. "The poor thing, sorry about that. I guess I went overboard again, huh?" He asked, ruefully rubbing the back of his neck.
WINNER IS...TWILIGHT!

The mud slooshed around Twilight's feet as she bent over and nudged her daddy. She knew she fainted... but she didn't quite catch what he said. She wagged her tail as he went back into his Pokeball in a red stream of light.
As the field cleared up, Piney recalled Twilight back into her Pokeball, since she needed a rest from battling and the muddy terrien.
"Or we can bring both of them to the Pokemon Center and heal them first. Their bruises needed to be tended before their coat." She laughed nervously and patted Twilight's Pokeball.
She was acting off, but she couldn't figure out why. And Zen was keeping it from her. She continued pondering on that thought while making her way out of the stadium.

"Heh, that's true. Guess my breeder's instinct just got my logic in a choke hold." HE chuckled, walking out with her. Oh man, did he feel guilty.
