The chatterbox used to be fun... but now that it's overrun by n00bs, it's not anymore. I hate the "Girls do this, boys slap/kiss/capture/hug/whatever them". They're so stupid. I know after a while they become more chat threads than anything, but still. And they're so common. Even the bump threads of question&answer threads are all the same. The chatterbox has gotten very repetitive. It's also dangerous to go there, because one post with even a somewhat rich avvie gets you a million "Gimme g0ld PLZ THANX". Rawg.
I used to be more paranoid about hackers than I am now. My Angelic Pendant is my most favorite item in the world, and I'd be devestated if I lost it. I think if you're really careful on Gaia, you lower your chances of being hacked. Many people were hacked, and are hacked, because they didn't or don't know how to be careful. As for bannings, I can only say the same.... You're generally banned for botting or something like that. There's a couple of key reasons that's happen and if you avoid them, you've usually got a better chance.

i l i y o Asashina Well, it took me a long time to get what I have, and if I can help someone, I will. But I hate people who try to scam me =o= My friends have gotten hacked at least once, and I've gotten wrongly banned. And I've helped them all out to the best of my ability..
I just don't really trust Gaia anymore. Everyone I know is getting hacked and it's scary crying
I am in a situation like that.
Almost everyone in my friends list has either been wrongfully banned, or hacked/scammed out of their accounts.
That is my worst fear on Gaia, that I'm wrongfully banned from Gaia.
It took me two years to achieve my winged anklets, and now almost at 2 mil. I would hate to be banned for something I didn't do.
That means two years of my real life gone. gonk
I try and help out my close friends with getting back on their feet, good karma you know?
Yes, I know. While I haven't had them for nearly that long =_=", I'm rather fond of my Mythic hair and Gift of the Gods. I'd hate to loose them after all the trouble I went to get them.
O-o How do you get "wrongly banned"? You'd think there'd be something in place to stop stuff like that from happening, but I guess not.
I think the scam problem got to me because I got three or four of them within minutes >< But I know not to give out my password and other information, so all's good, I guess :]

That one was kind of funny.

What I do is that I put it all on a mule so it isn't in my visual sight. Out of sight, out of mind, and when you get a good enough amount, send more onto your mule and WHAM! You'll have a whole stack of gold just sitting there 3nodding

I don't get a lot of scam pms. Probably because i only really hang out in the GCD, and i don't think there are many scammers in there. And i'm not very rich. I sort of enjoy scam pms, though. They make me feel rich, lol. XD

I have been sent pms asking for my password time after time after time again. It gets soooo annoying. I hang out in the CB in only one thread really, it's a give-away and stuff. But I just annoy them most of the time. I'm sick at how many hackers/scammers/annoying people there are here now.
i found this one 7 year old and I had her part of a guild of mine and then I banned her and she pmed me cussing me out sooo much, it scared me, made me cry some.
There are too many people that are too young for gaia. I probably shouldn't be like that since I'm only 12 and have been on gaia sinvce I was 10 1/2... But still, too many people are too young and immature. I am really mature and responsible for my age and I am not like people who like are ummmm what's the word, possesed with this sorta thing...
Why do people hack other people?? This is all just a computer game, it's not like it will affect you life that much or anything... Except to let people know the real you, the way you act on the computer to people you don't know or you don't like.
I'm annoyed with gaia some...
