"Okay," nodded Fish, "Move!" He motioned her inside and then followed, pulling the door shut behind him. It clicked locked again. "Let's find their offices," he said, looking around. The hallway branched a bit of a way's up, peeling off to the left and the right but also continuing straight.
"Got any idea now?" he asked.

After entering the dimly lit room Maria glanced about to get a new bearing on her surroundings, and try to figure out what they were going to do about the three hallways. “Well, it does seem we have a slight problem doesn’t it,” she said as she closed her eyes to see if she could try and get an idea which way they could go, but there was nothing to see. “The only person I still see is the close by is the janitor which is down the left hallway. Other than that the closest black suit I see is somewhere above us, so we need to find a staircase or elevator, and I can’t tell where those are at.”
Maria continued to glance between the three hallways, trying to figure out what they should do.

Fish frowned and stared at the hallways a bit longer, deliberating. He suspected that the satellite halls just lead to offices, so he pointed ahead.
"Safest bet seems like going straight," he intoned, motioning for Maria to follow as he began marching forwards. "I think we need to find their security control room. We need to find out where they're keeping Abbot and Vlad, right?"

Looking back and forth between the hallways one more time, Maria stopped and stared the hallway in front of them.
“Well, your guess is as good as mine right now,” Maria said as she looked down the left and right hallways one more time, before glancing down the middle one and following Fish. “Same here, the quicker we find them the quicker we can all get to safety.”

"I think we're looking for a computer lab of some sort, then," replied Fish. In a building this big the only way to manage security would be with a bank of computers. If they encountered any trouble... well, they were prophets. They could handle themselves.
As they picked up pace along the hallway, he began reading door labels and looking into empty, open rooms. Just a bunch of offices.
"It's got to be around here somewhere," he said in frustration.

As they kept moving down the hallway Maria kept glancing around, trying to keep an eye out for anyone that may have turned down that hallway or was coming toward them. She wanted to make sure that the two of them kept the upper hand in this situation, even if they were more powerful than before. Closing her eye, as she continued to walk she made another quick glance around to see who was around, or not around.
“There is a room coming up on our right, and there are several people in it. I believe it is our security we have been looking for,” said Maria as she shook her head, hoping at the same time that they had finally found the security room, because she felt her ability of sighting was becoming a bit weak from using it so much.

Fish approached the door with caution and pressed his ear to it. He could hear low voices and the hum of computers.
"I think you're right," he hissed. "On three."
He took the trident in his hands and gripped it.
"One," he said, putting a hand on the doorknob.
"Two," he said, turning it.
"Three."
Fish threw the door open.

There were two security personnel in the room, watching a bank of monitors. One of them was asleep, a long-gone-cold cup of coffee between his hands. The other one turned when the door opened.
"You kids shouldn't be here," he said, moving to get out of his chair. "It's off-limits.
Enemy combatants: Two blacksuit grunts. 5 hp each.

A tall, lean, almost emaciated young man burst through the ventilation shaft in the ceiling of the monitor room and landed with a load of snarls and deep, throaty sounds that could be Russian....or maybe just incoherent babble. Whatever.
As he landed, the crazed looking youth saw the blacksuits, who were stunned at this newcomer, and swung at them. In his condition though, he missed and staggered around before falling down.
Vlad landed at the feet of the two shocked godlings, both of whom he had not even noticed before, and stared up at them. He tried to speak, but could only make growling noises. Finally he was able to get out one word, his Russian accent deeper, more feral. "Help."

Maria quickly ripped the bracelet off of her wrist and threw it against the ground where it began to glow a dimly color before slowly forming into a spear. As she prepared to launch herself at the men in the room she quickly jumped back as something came bursting from the ventilation shaft. "What the hell," she yelled as she jumped back away from who ever just fell from the shaft and watched the human for a second. "Who is he."
Jumping back into a more defensive stance Maria watched the event unfold in front of her trying to figure out what was going on. "Who is he," she thought to herself as she watched closely. "I know him from somewhere."
Before the answer could even click in her mind and before she knew what she was doing she launched herself at the black suits in an attempt to get them away from Vlad. "Leave Vlad alone," she screeched as she swung the spear out in front of her in hopes of getting one of them. "How dare you do this to him?"
Continuing she stopped for a brief movement repositioned the spear and her to gain a better stance then she ran toward the black suits again, this time with hopefully a bit more accuracy.

Fish gripped his trident and fell into a ready stance, taking a moment to realize with a start that the *thing* that had just fallen out of the ceiling was Vlad. Well, they'd deal with him in a bit. The whole situation was getting very quickly shot to hell. As soon as Maria was out of the way, he followed her attack on the already-wounded blacksuit with a charge of his own.
"Eyaaaaaagh!" he cried, lunging forward, the tips of his trident glinting in the light. Hopefully, this would get them to one down, one to go, and the situation wouldn't be quite so doomed.

Vlad heard screaming and vaguely recalled people moving around. His...friends? Yes, his friends. Vlad tried to get up, but was still disoriented.
In his head, Vlad heard growling and chains clanking. By this point, Vlad learned that meant that Fenrir was going to talk to him. Sure enough, he heard a voice like gravel inside his head saying, "Come on, pup. I did not risk killing you to have you die now. Your friends are here and are fighting for you. Are you gonna make them take all of your burdens? Get up and fight! Become the animal I have made you!"
Vlad opened his eyes and said "Yes, I vill fight!" Vlad pushed himself up and turned to the blacksuits and let out a primal animal howl. His nails were like claws, and he ripped off his shirt to reveal a chain wrapped around his torso and arms hard enough to disfigure the skin beneath. Vlad took the chain off and cracked it on the floor like a whip before lunging foward.
