Yeah, it was a set my grandpa bought with all the classics in Chinese with pictures. Thoroughly enjoyed it...then got disturbed by all the wickedness of the world.
Speaking of which, currently watching the 2007 BBC production of Jane Eyre, also makes me want to cry. emo

Yeah, excellent cinematography and music. They get good people on the production team. And as for the actors, well...it was discussed that the male lead may give Mr. Darcy a run for his money. domokun

I know, I know. You'd think no one could beat Colin Firth's Mr. Darcy. And I don't think he has int he mainstream. But there's a cult following of N&S and critics have been comparing.
Or so I'm told.
But Richard Armitage really is quite good looking. 3nodding

O; he is hot. <3
I also love Rupert Evans, who is not very well-known but was in Shakespeare Retold as Zander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and recently in this ITV series called The Palace. So good-looking DDD;;

Rupert Evans...I've seen him around, but hasn't made much of an impression on me, yet. He looks a bit boy-next-door, like Josh Hartnett, but more British.

He hasn't done very much, really.. perhaps if he did a bit more. He is very pretty, though. <3

Oh yeah. I just found out he played the brother of the female lead in N&S. And everyone agreed at the time that he should have gotten more screen time, such a pretty boy.
I can see him taking a role in something like Atonement.

I reckon his screen time was around 10 minutes in the whole 4 hours of the mini series. He played the outlawed brother of the female lead and just looked so sweet. 3nodding
