The clouds blocked the moon from shining above, the plateu dim to barely lit in the darkness of the night. From atop the edge of the rocky cliff, the king stood tall, glowing green faintly. This place was so dark and morbid...
Bonelike wings grew from his back with a sickly crack and Iah swooped down to the ground. It was perfect here...
Shawnie stepped from the shadows of the cave, separate from the main one. "Is Devon here yet?" She arched a brow, lightning bolts dancing from her paws.
"I've been here, thank you very much." Devon snorted, sitting nearby at the base of the tall rock. "Now." He looked to Iah" Shall we get this started...?

Sand preceded his presence, crawling along the ground slowly and quietly. It stopped before reaching the triad, spreading naturally along the ground. Following the sand, Aito made his way towards Iah, making sure to keep his distance from the female and...whoever the hell that other one was. "Evening." was his simple greeting.

"Evening, Aito."
Iah nodded to the cub before walking over, flicking his tail. "I hope you find the place..." He glanced side to side, narrowing his eyes as he did so. "Homey?"
Shawnie scoffed for a moment, looking at Devon closely. "I'm off." She murmured under her breath, walking into the cave silently. there were things on her mind she had to think over.
Devon watched the minister of war retreat, wrinkling his nose. Getting to his feet, he looked to Iah and Aito. "I guess I'm heading in as well. See you..." He paused. "Whenever, I guess." And with that, the spirit disappeared, reappearing inside a few meters away from Shawnie. "And what's wrong with you?"
"Shove it. Devon."
All in all, nothing was really different than before...

Dark eyes gaze over the lands just beyond the invisible boarder line. Should she cross and dare face the consequences of the pride? Or possibly stay put like a dog and wait to be beckoned?
The former seemed so much more enticing. However, Rayne knew the policies of this land. Why make enemies so quickly when they could become powerful allies?
The vampiric female gave a roar of attendance. Nothing flashy, nothing loud, just a simple roar able to heard to the pride. She would wait here for now, at least.

As the vampiric female approached the pride, nearby, another grey and red female walked up, tags waving in her face as she eyed the plateu from a distance, the green and red eyes considering as she gave a cynical grin, lowering her maw, tongue grazing the long fanges.
So this was where her dearest uncle had gone. Took her long enough to find her. Hm?
Toki stayed silent as the other gave a roar, hidden in the underbrush nearby.

"... Damnit."As the roar drifted across the pride, Shawnie gave an annoyed groan, rolling onto her side. Even when nothing was happening, things always seemed to disturb her when she least needed. "Why don't you go get it, Devon~?"
"No." Devon looked to her past his bangs, which had fallen over his eyes as he lay in a far corner. Getting to his feet, he walked past her coldly, claws dragging against the dirt. "We both need to go."
"Sometimes I don't get you." Shawnie sighed, and the two disappeared.
A few meterd away from Rayne, Shawnie reappeared, hair blowing back as sparks flowed from her paws. "Welcome." She murmured ,looking over the female consideringly. "What brings you to these lands?"
"So." Devon was a little ways off, facing the bush. Thunder rolled overhead and Devon glanced to the sky, annoyed. Shawnie liked to make unneeded dramatic enterances. Drawing his attention back to the bush, he watched as the grey lioness stood. "You're Kiwa's daughter."
Toki grinned and looked to him. "Of course. Mistah Devon."

He heard the roars, but stayed put. The only one he was familiar with here was Iah, and the others...didn't scare him but it seemed best to just stay away and keep his hide. However, the roars were..."Stupid females...." he snarled, ready to run away if they proved to be the type that was all motherly...not like Iah would allow that...

Rayne looked over at the female, her head tilted in slight amusement at how she appeared. No matter, she rose to her feet, giving a respectful bow. "My name is Rayne. I have traveled many miles in search of lands to call my home." Her head lifted as she met the eyes of the other lioness. "If I may say so myself, I think I have found it."

Iah watched the cub for a long moment before shrugging his shoulders and sitting up straight. "Oh, the ones out here aren't too bad, y'know." He gave a shrug, flicking his bangs out of his eyes. The markings at his side gave a faint pulsating glow.
Shawnie watched Rayne slowly, looking over her. Vampire. Her maw turned to a grin and she flicked her tail. "Ah, well. You're of course welcome to stay here, vampiress." She flicked an ear gently, the earrings clinking gently. "My name is Shawnie, the spirit of pain, and the minister of war of these lands, keeping affairs of the land in check.

Rayne gave a slight huff, tail waving. "I appreciate it, Shawnie." He gave a bow of respect before stepping into the lands, her paws leaving no markings what so ever. "So, what affairs are handled here? How does the pride function? How many of us are here?" She flicked her tail gently, slightly curious as to what would happen from her life in on out.

It was rather ironic that as Iah told Aito that the females around the pride weren't so bad, Mazin decided to make her entrance. She was obviously a very loving lion and awfully chipper, you could tell just by watching her walk. She bounded over the border in the mix of a skip, trot, jump. It wasn't her fault she was excited. Devon was here! She had to see him! The pride lands was lonely and scary and there was lions everywhere just killing the adorable little animals.
"Devon? Devon!? Hey Shawnie~"
Mazin raced past the minister of war and continued her search. He had to be around here somewhere...unless...Grimmjow lied. Oh, she'd get him for that. She stopped and whined. She saw Iah, some little cute cub, Shawnie, a vampire, even Toki, but no Devon.
"Devon! I know you're here!"

Rayne's nostrils took in a peculiar scent. Strange...Suddenly, the lioness sped past her, causing a ruckus over some strange male.
"Is...she part of this pride as well?" Her head tilted slightly in confusion. This pride seemed extremely too dark and too conniving...
Then again, there was usually an oddball in every bunch. Rayne just wasn't sure if she could handle this one.

Shawnie gave a deep exhale and shook her head in annoyance, looking to Rayne. "I suppose you could say that. She was.. acquaintances with one of the leaders of the pride so, thusly, I suppose she'll be here for a bit. She took a second to think over her first question. "Iah is a pretty loose leader, though the bunch that will be residing in these lands are close to ruthless. Or, most of them, anyways. There are wandering herds near the outskirts for hunt. I myself and whoever will join me will so hunting. The pride is run by myself, the male you see over there, the king, and his queen, who are further within the pride." She paused. "Other than that, there's not much else to say."
Devon was about to speak to Toki, wanting to learn of the location of her mother, as Iah had requested, before the voice of Mazin echoed from a ways away. He flicked an ear, black and blue eyes turning towards her. Mazin... He gave a light sigh. She wouldn't fit her, but he'd make her welcom. "Mazin." His voice was calm, cold. "I'm over here."

Mazin spun around to face the direction of Devon's face, wiggling with excitement. It was true. Devon was here! Prancing over to him, she quickly nuzzled up against him."Devon! I missed you." She leaned into him softly and sniffled."I've come to stay with you. That's alright, isn't it? I mean I was part of The Realm before I came here." Mazin shuffled her paws softly and looked around nervously before turning to Toki."Hi Toki~ How are you doing?"

Rayne gave a soft sigh, tail flicking. As she listened to the explanation, she took it in saving the vital information stored into her mind. "Hmm...simple and interesting. I appreciate the information, Shawnie." She padded forward into the land slowly, keeping her senses out for any other lions, especially Mazin. She just seemed way too bubbly and happy to be in a pride like this.
