The sprite seemed quite relieved when Noah agreed, a kind smile being sent his way before he slipped off the counter and, without any notice or warning, hugged the man full on. "Thank you."
It was only when Luca began filling out the forms that he inwardly winced, "I'll do those, Luca." His penmanship was quite a bit better than his husband's, that was for certain, and he didn't want any slip ups when it had to do with their children.
Children. They were going to have children.
Papers were snatched carefully and he sat himself down, using his knees as a makeshift table as he filled them in, "Is there anything else you need of us?" he murmured, unsure how the process went anyway. What this DNA was was beyond him - wasn't something that was taught about in their Age.

Luca was doing quite well at writing in his own opinion as Rune squabbled and hugged the doctor for his kindness, leaving the Angel to lift his head from the forms as offer a pleasant smile and the dip of a bow. Runes gratitude was enough for the both of them right now it seemed for the moment.
When the forms and pen were snatched from his hands, blinking eyes would be his only response for the first few seconds, head turning to face Rune a moment later with a displeased huff. "I was doin' rather well so ah think. Wha can ya expect from a man that can't read anythin' outside o' Runic and Angeleth."
Lifting himself to stand Luca took the place beside his husband out of reflex, arms crossing over the expanse of his chest as those wings shifted and flickered along his back. He was nervous, as any soon-to-be father would and even more at the 'DNA' mentioned. One could only think on it so much before numerous ways to extract such a thing traveled through his mind.

Hugging was not an intergral part of Noah's world. In fact, it was pretty much absent from it altogether. It wasn't that he was adverse to physical contact, but the last time he could really distinctly remember someone hugging him it had been his mother when he graduated from med school. He flushed automatically, red creeping up his neck, and stuttered out an embarassed "You're welcome."
He felt stupid for being so uncomfortable. Noah was a fine doctor, but he knew he wasn't exactly skilled as a social being, and he hoped it hadn't come off badly. He liked these two, and Noah knew that Rune was just thanking him in his own way. Thankfully Luca gave him a simple, but equally as heartfelt thanks. One that didn't invade personal space or more psychological boundaries.
"Oh. Um. The DNA." Noah racked his mind for a moment, as his thoughts had gotten off track. Grabbing tow cups off of the counter top nearby that had not been occupied by Rune, he handed them to the two. "There's a bathroom just down the hall to your immediate right. You won't be having sex to have the babies, but we still need the sperm."

Yes, that was about all the reaction that Noah got out of Rune at the words that he spoke. Green eyes traveled from him, to the cups, to Luca and then back to him. He wanted him to what where and how? Rune never...Oh dear god! The thoughts caused a rush of heat to the sprite's face, face turning the color of the hair atop his head.
He deadpanned at the doctor, "You want me to do what now?" Well, considering they were having children made in a tank or whatever it was and he didn't have to carry them, he figured that he didn't have to do anything but maybe rip out some hair or...
Right. Breathe, Rune! He looked like he was going to hyperventilate in a moment.

Luca face palmed for lack of a better term as the sprite turned as red as a cherry, seasoned angel not taking to long to put two and two together as he hefted a shaken sigh, disbelief for the most part. Boots fell in a heavy step upon the floor as his hand came down to place itself upon the sprites shoulder, hand coming to brush his bangs from his eyes as he drummed his fingers, thinking of what to say before he did.
"you mean to tell me. The eleven years I've been your lover and your husband. That you have never choked your chicken over me or anything else for that matter?"
Question was simple and by god if the angel wasn't biting his lip to try and not break into a fit of raw laughter, though mismatched eyes were watering at the effort. "Well doc, ifin' the bathrooms big enough fer two I can solve this little dilemma without getting the DNA mixed."

Well this had gotten decidely awkward. Noah clutched at the clipboard in his arms even tighter, as if it would somehow shield him from the embarassment of Rune, and prevent them from noticing how he was getting just as flustered. It might not have really done anything, but it did make him feel better.
"Er, if necessary, I guess you could," he stammered shifting from foot to foot gawkily. Noah flushed furiously and cleared his throat, staring pointedly at the clipboard as if it would magically tell him what to say. "Just make sure.. well. I'm sure you two can handle it. Areyoufinishedwiththepaperwork?"

Rune was simply mortified! The lack of shame from his husband had once again caused him massive amounts of embarrassment. Christ! Didn't he ever really think before he spoke?! "L..Luca!" He stammered out, eyes going wide as dinner plates at the words spoken.
Despite the redness of his face and the full heat that had overtaken his body at what had just transpired (Oh, Luca was going to be scolded later, folks), he tried to calm himself down enough to answer Noah's question, "Yes, the paper work is done..." He snatched at a cup and gave a glare to Luca, "I will do it myself, thank you very much!"
And off he stomped, muttering about shameless husbands who needed to get some humility and manners and common sense shoved into his head.

The expression upon the doctors face had only served to make the dark angeleth's grin grow wider as mismatched eyes traveled between both him and rune, trying at least to discover to whom his jokes hit the hardest.`He was to say the least, about to comment upon the doctors permission of his 'use' of the bathroom to aid rune in his DNA collection when the sprites shuddering of his name had the angel regret it, yep he was going to get it later.
"Rune, come on now, I was only jokin!" the angel said with a bit of desperation, he really didn't favor the thought of having to sleep on the couch after all. He was right on one thing though, angel had little or Shame and wasn't afraid to show it either! Or was that the point..
Watching the sprite pass by him and continue down the hall to the bathroom his violet eye woudl slide closed, blue one left at a squint as his hand lifted to scratch at the top of his head with those taloned claws. Locks of black and ocean blue falling in splayed strands over his face and ears as they were disturbed from the spot they had originally fell. "Guess that leaves just you and me doc...Though I must ask, do ya want me to wait till hes done or just go ahead n' do et out here?" Yep he never learned.
