"You're no more strange than i am." She looked up at him. True he was a little odd and looked almost like a fish but she wasn't anywhere near normal either.

The kelpi's eyes followed the shiny fish darting around their legs below.

"It's not so bad ... Kalosyni helped." She nodded as she remembered Acheron's friend helping her one day. It still hurt but the pain had been less than usual. She couldn't do that herself but she hoped that Kalo would stick around and maybe she could ask for help again.

Whatever this other had one had not completely healed the mare, but any relief from the pain was a good thing. She didn't deserve to live like this.
"You're one brother seems to be doing quite well...didn't you have a second, as well?"

"I do but he doesn't come to visit as often." He'd never liked the sand as much and he and Acheron avoided each other as much as they could. She hoped he'd come visit soon though. She had so much to tell him.

It happened at times. When young stallions grew up and went off into the world. Maybe this other brother's thoughts were so far from home he just didn't realize his family would like to see him again.

"He should know. He knows i love him." She'd always loved her brothers even though they picked on each other. So he had to know that she'd want to see him some times.

"I do hope so...." She hadn't seen him in so long and she wanted him to come back if only so she could tell him some things. "Hopefully with the snowfall less he'll come back to visit. He should have stories for me"

Levi turned his head, watching the fish chase his finned tail through the water. He couldn't help but smile at the sight and swish his tail a bit so the fish would have to work to catch it.

She hoped he was right. Tilting her head she watched the fish swim about the odd stallion and after a moment laughed softly. "they like you"

He smiled, watching the fish swim after him a moment before swimming back over to the mare.
"I believe they like you as well."

"They're used to me being here i guess." She leaned down and touched her nose to the water. The fish moved out of the way but were quick to ignore it and continue swimming.

Ela wasn't exactly one of them, but he didn't mind taking care of her...maybet he fish wouldn't mind as well.

"That sounds a lot like family." She laughed softly before straightening up to look at him. "Protective of each other and wary when someone brings in a new friend but once we're comfortable it's like they were always here."
