The tables had suddenly turned. Bell missed her target and was knocked down. "Grr..." Renekai said, voicing her frustration quietly. She had gotten cocky. "Right," she said louder as she saw Bell pull herself to her feet. "Try again!" Renekai ordered.
"You and your claws," Bell growled to her opponent. "I'll freeze them off!" Bell shot another beam, this time it was meant to freeze.
"Either it will work and we win," Renekai reasoned. "Or it won't and we lose." How well could a Sneasel defend itself from ice?

Lixue watched as Scout narrowly avoided Bell's attack. He was rather light on his feet. "All right Scout, Ice Beam!" Lixue called to him as he recovered.
Scout eyed Bell with a devilish look in his eye. He powered up and then shot the beam at the bird like pokemon.

((Actually, Scout is frozen... For one turn. The first number is odd, so it worked. So it's Bell's turn right now...))
"Hmm..." Renekai grumbled. That was not what she had in mind, although it was better than missing completely. Should Renekai go ahead and hope for the best, or try for another freeze? Biting her lip, Renekai decided on an Ice Beam. She gave the command and hoped that it would work.
Bell opened her beak and charged up an Ice Beam. Seeing the ice thinning, however, Bell shortened the normal charge time and fired early. Soon after, Bell shot a second, smaller, Ice Beam, so that dual beams were sent out, ready to collide into Scout one after another.

((Aaaand since that didn't work, I'll use your roll for your actual turn. xD;; ))
"Bell! Ice Beam!"
Bell was forced to charge as quickly as she could as the other beam came hurtling at her. She released just in time, and her own attack hit Scout's, making a minor and severely cold explosion.
Bell was blasted back several feet and it took her a while to get back on her feet. She looked cautiously in Scout's direction, hoping that her attack had made it back to the Sneasel.

Lixue watched as Scout was stunned by the ice attack. "Well that was interesting" she muttered waiting for Renekai's next command to Bell.
Scout wasn't moving.

"All right!" Renekai said to herself, pumping a fist. "Quick attack!" she shouted to Bell.
Bell turned her gaze back onto the hunk of ice that was Scout. Time to end the fight! Summoning up some reserve energy, Bell sprinted the short distance that had been created between herself and Scout, diving at her stationary opponent. Her feathers stuck out oddly in the electric stadium.

Scout started to stir at the last moment. Suddenly he became reanimated.Spying this Lixue suddenly shouted at Scout "Fury Swipes! Quick!" Scout turned his vivid eyes upon Bell, light glanced off his claws as he raised them for a fury swipes attack.[300/700] Dice here

((No, no... You're still frozen! D: The second die was a three, so you're frozen for three turns... Two more turns, now.))
"Mega Kick!" Renekai commanded, frustrated at how Bell could have missed an unmoving and defenseless target.
Bell shook her head and hissed quietly. The world was slightly tilted-- she needed to rest... But not now! Bell's right leg seemed to glow slightly as she drew it back, then swung forward in a powerful kick. Hitting a block of ice would be easy, no matter how dizzy Bell was!
