YUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! cheeyah violin totally rocks man! but it is not too popular. there is only 10 people in my orchestra, but there is around 40 or 50 people in band.

String instruments rock! They sound so warm and fluffy. I'm a violaist and I play the fiddle too but only for folk music classical music is just too much work and i like my viola better (no offense to any violinists who interpret this wrong).
Quick question does anyone ever get red marks on their necks from their violins pressing too hard/ practising too much that look like hickies.
I have one and it looks funny biggrin

OMG i wish i was a second violin!but i'm stuck with being a crummy first violin gonk but that's awesome though us second and first violins right?! mrgreen we coolio parts n melodies!

well i play the violin in the 1st violin section and we tend 2 get the melody alot 3nodding

Music was my refuge...A violin is a very popular instrument which makes it less and less fun to play in an orchestra as you get more experienced because there are always people in your schools orchestra who won't meet to the challenge of a piece and then bring the who orchestra done.
It is really quite sad. That is why I regret choosing the violin for my instrument. I am much more interested in the cello or bass. ...I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.

Violins rock!!!!i started when i was around five then i stopped for awhile because no one else was playing crying but now i love playing it more than usual! biggrin xd -sigh- but i dont even have time to play my other instruments....

Im a first violinist. been playing since I was 10, its my second instrument...I guess Im okay. lol. I just get mad at the violin I have at home...my school one is way better...dont know why lol.
