"I appreciate it... I mean, it wouldn't be fair for you to tell me things about her she does not wish to be known to her loving." he grins as he moves closer to her. "Trusting. Sweet. Caring. Adoring." pecking her quickly. "Mate."
He turns to Yaten and smile. "I taught her myself. What a wonderful student, she learned quickly and developed her own technique to catch one! She is one to watch when catching fish, I just end up getting myself with not much to show for it. I guess that is why she's a little big. Perhaps I should not have taught her or she should not have been too good at it," he laughed in jest and nuzzled her softly, tails playing in the back. He loved her deeply fat or lithe, she was Alula, his mate and lover. There was no way around it.
A little urge to sleep with her rose, but quickly calmed as it would be disrespecting his father. Perhaps in a good cycle or so. He chuckled to himself as he looked at Yaten. If Alula got her looks and humor from her father, wonder if he was able to hunt too.
"Alula, give me some credit!"
He shuffled his paws a little. The sunset... it was what drove them to get together and go to the beach to start with. Those memories! He blushed florid under his dark fur which only made his fur look the slightest shade of purple.
"Yaten... I do have a confession. As Alula's father, you should know..."

With a raised eyebrow, Alula looked to Kru with a playful look to her eyes. Oh, he was so going to get it when they had left here to go back to her den. Yup, nothing would be able to save him now. She couldn't help but to grin at her mate and flick her tail against him, "Hey now, you taught me how to hunt the fish! I don't think you would have done nothing if I was just standing there waiting for you. Plus, I had asked..." She stuck out her tongue, "Don't worry, I'll get you for your little comments Kru!" She teased him with a playful wink.
Though, her latter words caught her interest. What was he about to tell her father! Her dark eyes gazed over to look at Kru, searching his face for any answers only to find it completely purple with his blush.
Chocolate eyes watched the two interact and it couldn't help but make Yaten feel very nostalgic for his mate. The ebony cheetah had been lonely in the sense that he didn't have his companion any longer. He longed to have the familiar touch and sense of security one gets from another. He knew his daughter had gently hinted to travel the lands once again and meet others along the way, but finding another mate was just not the same as finding the first one. First love was something you just couldn't replace.
As he looked at the leopard, "I am glad to hear that. It's very odd to hear about a cheetah catching fish, I've never really thought about doing such a thing before. I should try sometime when I go out hunting." With a tilt of his head, he noted the dark blush on Kru's face and the words gave him a slight idea to where this was heading. Did he want to admit to loving his daughter the way a mate should? He couldn't help but like Kru, he knew his daughter found an excellent mate. "A confession now?"

Kru opened his maw to say something but nothing came out. His paws shuffled some as his tail left Alula's play to curl around his paws. It was hard to talk to the parent of his mate, technically his father now. However, talking about it openly with someone who did not part-take, thank goodness, in the act, was just uncomfortable for him. His dark blue fur ruffled a little as his face became more florid.
He wanted to reply to Alula. He wanted to say he would welcome it, waiting outside for her to 'punish' him. He knew he had taught her how to fish, it was one of the first times they touched and their feelings admitted. He would say something if he wasn't so embarassed, nervous, and slightly fearful.
He nudged Alula and licked her softly. Murmuring sorry for his own reasons.
"When we went to the beach... we had some fun, playing in the sand and the water. But getting wet wasn't too much fun as I thought it would be. So we just cuddled up to warm each other. We watched the sun set... one thing led to another, and it just happened," if it was even possible, his fur would have been a crimson red. His paws continued to shuffle and his ears fell back on his head. "I-I'm sorry, sir, perhaps it was the heat, it just made up irrational-no, it... it just made our emotions and feelings for each other just so much more powerful."
...
"I'm glad it did, too..."

An eyebrow raised in surprise, Yaten was rather taken back by Kru's words. He had caught the hidden meaning of them. Alula and Kru had been taken over by emotions and desire, thus mating. The ebony cheetah was rather surprised to be told this, perhaps Kru wanted to let it be known then? With a glance at his daughter, he looked at her. He could still remember when she was just born. So tiny and innocent. The world had a help in shaping her into what she was now. His chocolate eyes gazed back to Kru as he looked over the leopard. "I am rather surprised to be told this, to be quite honest. This isn't something that I had expected to hear so suddenly," He paused, "But situations can change by emotions and thus, I wouldn't have expected you two to not have been together as such during the time. While I am surprised, I am also glad that you felt the need to tell me. I expect this to be a good relationship, Kru." He smiled to the leopard, hoping that he had
At Kru's soft lick, Alula couldn't help but look to him. His face was so warm, if he had been white he would definitely have been very red in the face. It was lucky for him that he had darker fur. Her ears pricked forward as she caught her father's gaze. He was thinking hard, she could tell by his expression.
Her eyes widen in surprise as Kru admitted to their father about their mating at the beach. The memories were still fresh and she couldn't help but to blush herself. It was such a wonderful feeling, besides having Kru by her side, of course. Softly, "Kru just wanted you to be aware that this isn't a one time thing, but something more permanent." She looked at Kru and stuck out her tongue, with a look that told him she'd get him later.

His ears pinned back a bit in embarassment to say such things to the father of his mate and, furthermore, on their first encounter. What a first impression! His gaze continued up and down his body whenever he made eye contact. He was still a bit afraid to look at him in the eyes after saying that. However, his hearing was not impaired. He heard the words of Alula's father and the comfort and expectations he held. To be honest, he had no other plans than to keep Alula happy so that would mean this relationship must be good!
"Oh, Yaten, of course! This will definitely be a great relationship. I just . . . didn't want you to find out in other ways that might upset you. Hiding such things . . ."
He paused and looked at Alula as she spoke to compliment his reply.
"Y-yeah, a permanent one," he added. He just blinked innocently at her gesture. He was in for it later it seemed and he was looking forward to it.
"If only we could make you a proud grandfather, Yaten. I apologize that we cannot give you that honor with I being a leopard and your daughter a cheetah . . ."

A soft purr escaped the female as things had progressed better than expected, but Alula knew that her father would be happy with her choice afterall. Kru was an excellent male. She was very happy to have snagged him before any other female had done so. As she turned her dark eyes to her father, she gave him a smile, "I am glad we had caught you, I was hoping we wouldn't have to wait too long before I could introduce you to Kru." She laughed softly before her gaze soften. Cubs would have been a wonderful addition, but she couldn't ask for more than just having Kru.
Her tail flicked slightly before she heard her father speak of prior arrangements. "Make sure to give Siltim and his family my regards. I should head over to see him sometime." She then leaned against Kru as her father had left. "I think now is a perfect time to head back to my den so then we can stir up some good memories." She teased him lightly before making sure he was going to follow her back to her den for his "punishment".
With a gentle smile, Yaten smile to Kru, "With that being the case, I gladly take your kind thoughts about giving me grandcubs. It warms my heart to think that you two have considered it, even if it was not possible." He was glad and this made him all the more happy about how things had turned out. But as everything goes, this would have to go for another day. He pushed himself up before he looked at the two, "Forgive me for leaving the two of you at such a time, but I did promise that I would go visit Siltim and his family this evening. You're more than welcome to stay here for the night or return back to your own den, Alula." He turned to head on out before looking back to give the two a wide smile, "It was a pleasure to meet you, Ba'kru and I should hope to see you and Alula sometime soon!" And with that, he headed out leaving the two on their own for the evening.

Kru nodded to Yaten's words, he seemed so kind and very much understanding just like Alula. It was obvious where Alula got her personality from. The leopard couldn't explain the feeling he felt or form the words properly. Smiling, he just purred to Yaten.
"Thank you, Yaten, I am glad I was able to make you glad. You have my word, I'll take care of your daughter."
Watching the older male raise to his paws, it made him feel different as if unsure if he had upset Yaten or did something. Fortunately, the father's next words eased that worry. He was just leaving for the evening to meet this Siltim and his family. So that would mean that he and Alula would be alone. Curiously, he glanced over at his mate for a second.
Her own den?
"Uh... Good-bye, Yaten."
Now it was just them. Kru couldn't help that something he had to pay for was coming sooner than he had expected. Regardless of what happened, his love for Alula was ever present. The blue mass moved against her side softly, nuzzling her more.
"You're father's very nice . . . I feel rather stupid for worrying."

With a soft laugh, Alula couldn't help but to flick her tail against Ba'kru, "I told you so! There's nothing to worry about with my father." She couldn't have been more happier than she was now. Regardless of this sudden increase in mass, she was pleasantly content with the way things were now.
As her dark eyes shifted over to Kru, who was by her side, they twinkled playfully. In a sly voice, "Ohhhh Kru," She reached forward to n** at his ear, "It's just you and me...are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Oh, there were so many things going on in the ebony's cheetah's head, some of them more naughty then others. But they all made her whiskers curl in delight.

"You're right, I was just being foolish. I should listen to you more often then, huh?"
Kru chuckled softly, licking her nose. He was quite happy with how things came about. Meeting Alula. The trip. The fishing. The beach. Especially the beach. And even this, it seemed that nothing could go wrong with Alula in his life. Looking down at her belly, he chuckled. It should go back to normal shortly, she had just eaten too much fish was all.
The leopard's ears perked and his attention obtained, he blinked at his mate for a moment when his name was called. The way she said it... obvious hint. The male smirked and cocked a brow.
"I have been thinking what you were thinking the moment your father left the den. I dun suppose you see it wrong doing something like that here, do you? Or perhaps we should go to your den and have our fair share."

The ebony cheetah stuck her tongue out playfully before Alula replied, "My den, of course. I don't feel right doing that here in my father's den, it wouldn't seem right." She'd feel bad, this was her father's place now, not her own. Plus, Kru still needed to see her own den. It was perfect for her and she had a feeling he'd like it, or else she hoped so. There were quite a bit more trees where she lived, so she hoped he feel more comfortable.
She caught his gaze and knew that he was thinking about her belly. She wondered why it had gotten bigger herself, but it was also strange that it would hurt at random times, like a sharp pain inside. Her ears flicked forward, "We also don't have to worry about my dad coming back, so we'll have all the time in the world." She nuzzled her mate affectionately before walking forward and glancing back, "I'll lead the way!"
