Microsoft: Reports of higher than average hardware failure and Microsoft doing NOTHING to debunk it is less than convincing. Also, both my 360 and Zune kicking it within a month of each other is also motivation for me to stick to Sony and move to Apple.
Nintendo: When are we going to see some games that take advantage of this new control set up? (RE4 aside).
Sony: Hyping the wrong games (Lair, though I still like the game), not hyping the right games (Ratchet and Clank Future, Uncharted), and letting their PR department talk ("If you can find a PS3 on a shelf, I will give you $1200!").
Guitar Hero III: Bad, just ******** bad.
Rock Band: Not as bad, but I hate Karaoke.
Orange Box: Portal aside, the game is not worth the attention it gets and the praise.
Wii Shoppers: A GROWN MAN elbowed A KID IN THE FACE to get a Wii at my store... And to think my faith in mankind somehow sunk lower.
GTA4: Delayed... Infact...
All of the delays this year: SSBB, Haze, and the previously mentioned GTA4... Just lame...

Pokemon D/P: God, I miss when Pokemon was about raising monsters, not cuddly pets. Also, WE HAVE ENOUGH ******** WATER TYPES.
Bioshock: When you're playing on Hard and you're still swimming in money and ammo, something is wrong.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles: Where's Resident Evil 2?
Parent shoppers: No, we don't have a Wii. Stop referring to the consoles as "games". We don't have a Wii. We don't have a PS2P. We don't have anymore Wiis. Learn how the games are spelled/pronounced before you decide to go out and buy it. NO MORE ******** WIIS. IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS, GET IN THE ******** LOOP OR DIE.
Other than that, I'd call it a solid year.

Dude, besides, Pipulp and Buizel, the water types this time around suck so much a**..... Resident Evil 2 is right here.And it's been a year and about 3 months since the Wii came out.

Dude, besides, Pipulp and Buizel, the water types this time around suck so much a**..... Resident Evil 2 is right here.And it's been a year and about 3 months since the Wii came out. Exactly. They improved everything except what made the game fun to play in the first place; the battle system. Whoops. From now on, I won't let other people get farther in games than me, and then listen to what they say. And the problems didn't end at the Wii. Between people asking stupid questions about the 360, DS, PS2, and whatever else (PS3 guys at least knew what they were doing), 3 years should be enough.

Sakyh SuperJawes2112 Beowulf: The Game All-Time Massive Fail. Sweetie it's a game based on a movie. Of course it failed. I worked at Gamestop when "From Russia with Love" came out. 007 had done well in many games, but this one was awful. Two weeks and the 49.99 price tag dropped to 19.99. Massive fail on it's own. However, Beowulf took LESS THAN two weeks to dop to 19.99 from 59.99. Bigger drop, less time, big laughs for me. PS Never tried it.

I would actually call this the greatest success of the year.Rock Band is a great successor to the GH throne, not only being BETTER, but also having better music and more to do.
