"Name's Allen." he replied cherily, "I guess the toll taken is different for other. This is all that has happened to me so far."
He tugged at a strand of hair, showing her how grey it appeared. He then gestured to his left arm, or in this case lack of.
"This was my own doing." He added, seeing that she was eying the empty sleeve like others normally did, "Are you here for something or do you live here? I'm a bit...er... lost..."

Eaven looked intently down on the two conversing below her. She took note of their maladies and mortal wounds. Unconsciously she rubbed her own arm that was slowly being taken over by an illness, not a curse. So she wanted to think at least.
The release of her right hand to touch her left arm sent her stance off balance. She tried to grab the branch as she tilted off it with her left hand, but the scar had weakened her hand so it had no power. Her hand slipped, sending her plummeting toward the earth.
Quick witted, the shapeshifter changed swiftly into her human form and grabbed the branch again with longer arms than her squirrel form. Her body swung dangerously as she dangled. She sighed without sound at her close encounter.
Then it hit her that there were two people below her that had more than likely seen her. Great, she thought, not happy with herself. She tried to pull herself up on the branch, but her arm wouldn't give her the strength. She wanted to sigh again, but she decided against it. Still hanging, she noticed that she hadn't shifted all the way into her human form. She still had a squirrel tail, though bigger, and squirrel ears.
Not wishing to stay on the branch, Eaven let herself drop into the bushes below.

((And I'm still in the middle of the village... *sigh* I guess I should move but what happened to the girl watching from the window?))
Lydia grabed the reigns and lept into the saddle her face still darkened with internal thunder. With a motion that looked hard on th horses mouthbut wasn't beause the horse sensed the direction she wished to go and was turning, she rode through forest nearly tripping over a form half hidden in the bushes, "What the hell is wrong with you?" she yelled slowly backing her horse up so the form would not trampled as Sunrise fidgeted at the halt to her canter.

Dice realizes that his mirth is futile with Buck. Uttering a soft whine the playful hound trots along the road and goes more near the village. The scent of people, a big animal and something strange attracts his attention right away. With great excitement the ghostly canine gallops closer. He shies away from the horse as the creature towers over him. Dice turns his attention to a young man with an empty sleeve, a young girl and finally the fox-yet-not-fox. Ears perked he trots over and licks the girl's hand before nuzzling the young man's hip, whining for attention. The white dog stares suspiciously at the small white thing not too far off. As Dice sits down with a rapidly wagging tail, he can smell a connection with three of the beings here, one of them is in the foliage. They have something inside, something hurting them. Back at the plantation Blume has cleaned up her home so it feels even more welcome. Looking outside and seeing it is now sunrise she sighs in relief. Also noting that Dice is nowhere in sight only because the other two hounds are, she deduces that he must be at the village pestering any who are awake. Walking out onto her porch she rubs Night-Marauder's ear before walking out onto the dirt road. Buck trails after her for awhile, periodically darting into the thick of the plants before slinking back out to join her. At the end of the path the fawn colored hound turns and goes back to his guarding. By Now Blume can see Dice in the midst of a few strangers. Knowing she has work that must be done the woman whistles for the hound. "Dice, leave them alone! Come here you swaying beast!" she calls sternly but with affection. The hound is torn between new faces to pet him, or dashing to his mistress. Blume can barely make out the figures he is with but can plainly tell one of them is mounted.

Since then she has not been able to bring herself to trust men.Melody walked softly through the village. She had gotten seperated from the others by accident. Cursing silently she hoped to find them here. It hadn't been to long, so they shouldn't have gotten to far. She also needed to send a report to her father on the wellness of the first set of soliders he sent. Her bag tugged heavily on her back, but she lost her train of thought when she saw a large hound, surrounded by others.
