Fast, faster, fastest- it was simply all the little colt could think of over and over again! With the wind caressing and sweeping up his striking crimson mane and tail, Rue darted from side to side and in unusual patterns as his legs kept on running and his mind couldn't help but be unaware of the yelling of both his father and uncle as he spoke to himself.

"Fast, fast, fast! Rue fast- Rue very fast is. Rue lightening, speeeeeeed deeeeeemon!" The colt spoke outloud, nodding his head as he plowed forwards.

But as he spoke to himself, another voice seemed to ring out. It was unfamiliar but sweet which instantly caught the young foals attention as his ears perked upwards and his void-less orbs darted around to see another older soquili running towards an very large tree up ahead that was dotted with red in its leaves and eve scattered red things on the ground. Hmm- that was weird. But as the rather unknown big-thing seemed to want to play a game, Rue gave a lopsided grin and darted forwards as fast as his little legs could will him. "RUE won't be laaaast," he giggled, running forward and a length or two away from the three.

Yet due to his obivious and rather focused nature at the moment Rue hadn't seen a medium sized stone that had been embedded within the ground and as a front hoof collided with ith the small colt was sent into a tumble, rolling forwards as dirt was stirred up into a cloud in the air an a long squeal was sounded.

"AIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!"

As the tumbling and sliding motion stopped, the colts nose gently pressed against the tree as he laid there motionless with his body sprawled out in front of the tree. To himself, Rue giggled and rested his forehead against the tree. "Rue thanks tree- Rue dun like being hurt-ed..." he commented, pulling his head away as one of the strange, circular red things from the tree seemed to suddenly fall down right at the trees base and begin to roll slightly.

Those void-less orbs found themselves staring in awe at the one red thing from the tree as he glanced around, nearly gasping as there were several other red things scattered around the tree. Ezriel, Dante and even the other big-thing was forgotten as he stumbled and pivoted the other way and began to slowly scoot himself forwards to the closest strange red thing which the tree had dropped. "Rue thinks tree dropped sumthin'- sumthin' shiny..." he mumbled, tapping it withi his nose with an amused expression as the strange thing moved slightly.

In glee, Rue looked around as he clopped his hooves on the ground.

"TREE GAVE RUE TOY!"

"I know- I know!" Ezriel shouted, glancing back towards Dante as he too plowed forwards. But from out of the corner of his eye he saw someone very, very- oh no. No, no, no! His teeth clenched together as he could feel himself wince slightly, ears flattening against his head. It couldn't be- no, there had to be more than one completely black mare within these lands right? Even though his mind tried to reassure him and soothe that worry, that comfort seemed to shatter as she spoke.

It was without a doubt his mother, Lady Korrine.

The stallion slowed slightly, somewhat unconciously staring towards his mother while his son tumbled out of control, skidding towards a tree. As Ezriel missed his sons aerobatics and skillful traits most certainly inherited from his mothers side, the inexperienced father couldn't help but feel sorrow. He knew- damnit, he knew that he should have told her sooner but with being distressed and still so broken inside from the loss of Nimue the stallion hadn't been put back together in working order. If there was anyone that could help sort this whole mess out it was his mother but sadly there were fears of what she would think or whom she might compare himself to that kept him trying to sort it out on his own. But deep down inside he knew the whole time that such a problem couldn't be sorted out on his own and even he knew he needed help.

It seemed that it was meant to be knowing that on his own Ezriel never would have come until things would have escalated into a grim fashion but with Dante with him and his support and undoubtedly the love of his mother (even though he was a bit unsure about his situation and her reaction) Ezriel had to come clean- he just..Ezriel needed help.

Willing himself to walk forward closer towards the tree, Ezriel moved towards the colt and leaned down to nudge him but before he could, the colt shifted and stumbled forwards, bouncing up and down as he neared closer towards his unknown grandmother. Somehow he was happy that Rue would be able to meet hi Grandmother but, on the other hoof, he was somewhat uncertain how she would take to learning how it happened and the mess he had created.

For now he remained silent as his eyes were unable to look up into her eyes.

"Rue won! Rue won!" The colt exclaimed, wiggling and bouncing almost in place. "Does Rue win something?" He tilted his head, staring towards the mare. Again his mind tried to comprehend many things at once and, in doing so, a lopsided grin slipped across his maw as he stared towards the mare.

"Oooooh- Rue dun know you....." the colt blinked once, then twice and giggled. "HYUUUUUUUU BIG-THING!"

Dante slowed himself into a walk as he saw the drama unfold. Rue was face-planted into a tree, and Ezriel was as shocked as he was to see and hear their mother! It was surprising that the one they set out to find was completely in their scope now! Dante thought quickly on how to react, and he decided to be his brother's crutch for the time being until Ezriel would gain the confidence to talk to his mother. Ezriel, most likely, was not prepared in what he wanted to say to his mother, and Dante hoped to give him the time he needed for his approach with words.

Dante then moved himself so he was facing his mother, and he smiled dearly. "Hello mom!" There, maybe he could distract her for a moment or so? "Its so great to see you." His words were truthful, but there was a shakiness to his speech that was completely noticeable. Dante was terrible at hiding his nervousness, and even though he personal had nothing to be worried about, he felt a terrible strain in his voice!

Dante then looked over to the colt, and wondered if he was even ok! "Rue, I am glad to see you survived that impact!" But apparently, Rue was too enthralled with the tree to pay attention to the actual drama around them! That was probably better, anyhow!

Dante then shifted his movement again and stood next to his brother, hoping to nudge him for support. Ezriel looked crushed, and Dante couldn't imagine what was flowing through his head. "I'm glad you were able to find both of us at the same time, mom." Dante then said, while looking at Korrine. He knew that his mother loved seeing them, especially together, so hopefully that could stray from the situation a bit?

Or maybe not.. since Rue made it pretty clear that he existed...

Her heart had skipped a beat when she saw the foal fall but thankfully as with most young colts, he didn't let it show. If he was hurt at all, he hid it well and she found herself smiling at the excitement he showed. He reminded her of her own sons when they were younger, only they held such burdens that they didn't quite enjoy themselves as much as this little one did. She was thankful that he did not share those burdens.

She walked over and nuzzled Dante and then Ezriel, "Hello darlings," she whispered to them before turning her attention back to the little foal. "And hello to you. Rue, is it? Well, let me get a good look at you," she commented before taking him all in. "I see so much of your daddy in you. Did you know that I'm the mommy of your daddy and Uncle Dante? That makes me your grandmother. Maybe I could be your prize?"

Meera would absolutely adore him, she thought. Though she was all grown up, she still had a childish streak to her. She could see Meera and Rue playing as if they were both foals.

She turned her attention back at her sons, a smile on her face. Any previous doubts or insecurities she had vanished the moment she had spoken to the young colt. "It's good to see you two again," she stated honestly. "Have you been well?"

They both looked well but the last time both her sons had visited her, they were burdened with problems. She hoped their situations had improved since their last visit.

With obscure reality compiled with a spazzy, energetic personality and oblivious, surreal attention span that never could quite focus, Rue had barely heard Dante voice his concern and joy that the colt was unharmed all the white Rue simply stood there with his mouth hanging ajar and staring up at the unfamiliar mare with a star struck awe. He wasn't sure who she was but she was fast! And her voice was so sweet and kindly that it made him nearly giggle to himself and blush slightly, lowering his head and giving a lopsided smile as his crimson mane whisped upwards with a small blow of air.

Clopping his front, right hoof upon the ground, the small colt nodded his head fervently up and down. "Rue is Rue!" He exclaimed with pure glee, his head tilting slightly as she wanted to get a good look at him. Although he wasn't quite sure what that meant, the colt began to walk in a circle bouncing upon his hooves.

"Teeeheeee-heee! Rue is a wraaaaabbit!"

Oh yes. Already his small mind was becoming wrapped around the fantasy and surreal imagination that abounded in plethora within his mind. It was full of innocents and even a cuteness.

Rue continued to walk in a small circle while the mare continued to talk. As he did, his ears suddenly perked upwards as he stumbled slightly, staggering closer towards her with wobblely steps until he fell back upon his rear and gasped, gazing up at her. "You're- you're Daddy's moooooooommy?!" Those pure black orbs darted back and forth from the mare to his father, then back again and even to Dante, then back to Ezriel and then back to Korrine. With all of this new information the small cogs within his mind were trying to comprehend what this meant.

Oh- he knew this meant something!

But before he had a chance to think too hard, it was already solved. She- this big-thing mare was his grandmother? She was his prize?

In the blink of an eye the small colt bounded up to his hooves and began running around his newly won grandmother. To think- he had a grandmother! This was a wish come true! "Rue won a grawnmothu', Rue won a grawnmothu'!" The colt squealed, coming around her as he nuzzled and tried to stretch his small head upwards to touch her nose with glee.

"DADDY WON A PRIZE RUE!" Wait...that wasn't right. "Uh- DADDY RUE WON A PRIZE! RUE WON A GRAWNMOTHU'! RUE ALWAYS WANTED ONE!"

Nickering to himself as his tail swept like an excited and riled puppy, Rue gently butted his head lovingly against his grandmothers leg.

"Rue love grawnmothu'."

As his mother nuzzled against him, Ezriel stiffened slightly as he yearned to pull away knowing that he simply didn't deserve such love. Oh what hell he had caused! What horlicks and a damn mess of tangled webs and consequences had he wrought? For the moment he could only stand there, the cogs of his very mind winding thoughts and emotions as his eyes lowered to the ground. Ezriel felt hallow, so alone and so much like a fiend and a horrid monster.

The stallion stood there in silence, closing his eyes as Dante spoke and greeted her. Still the words could not come and there was no way he could even think to speak. Emptiness seemed to consume him with a sickly, horrible feeling that gnawed upon his very soul and festered within his broken heart. It felt as if some great vice grip restricted his tounge from even moving or speaking.

But what was there to say? Was he suppose to pour out his heart to his mother and tell all concerning the mishap and reason of why he had a son? Was he suppose to mention that he had a daughter as well?

His teeth grounded together slightly. Damn the inner confliction and severed train of thought! Even now he felt so alone and already he was waiting for the worst to be spoken of what a dissapointment he was and waiting for anger to be unleashed against him. Ezriels perspective was altered and shattered, blinded as he continued to beat himself up for what he had done.

Yet he couldn't...no, he couldn't sit in silence and not say anything to his mother. No matter how hard he tried to hide it, the pain from everything that he had endured and the emotions seemed to wash over him and constrict him to cry out and seek some form of comfort and reassurance as already he seemed forgotten, forlorn and forever destined to wander alone.

Although he was certain that Rue would always be with him and though he still had yet to mend ties with his own daughter, Ezriel also had his family- yet how his mother would react to what he was to tell her still worried him and caused his mind to plead with him to run away.

The stallion bit on his lower lip, exhaling deeply as his pale, white ears flickered.

"Mom...." He swallowed, finding it just as difficult to speak as it felt as if a great weight was toppled upon his chest.

Okay- he just had to take it slow. Ezriel could do it- oh damn this was going to be hard wasn't it?

"Rue is...is my son. I- I didn't want to tell you because I was so damn scared that you would...be ashamed. I mean- I didn't want to hide it but I was so- I thought that you'd compare me to ....Reaper." His voice was low, reserved as it trembled slightly. Even as he spoke his forelegs trembled, ears flat against his skull as he couldn't bear to level his eyes with his mothers. No- he couldn't. Somehow Ezriel simply couldn't look his mother in the eyes. Shame held him back, shame and anger kept him back and chained him to his fault.

The glisten of unshead tears lingered at the corner of his eyes as he shook his head, biting down harder upon his bottom lip. "I didn't mean for it to happen and I swear to god I didn't hurt her...it just... it just happened."

His voice trailed off in silence while his eyes continued to advert towards the ground. With a posture that was stiffened and forelegs trembling, Ezriel could still hear the howling of his inner demons as wel as feel the gnashing and clawing at his mind. He winced slightly to himself as he felt a shock of pain shoot thorugh his body.

Try as he might he continued to ignore the whispers and cold voices that spoke so audible to him as his ears flicked behind.

Even still he was so conflicted.

Would this ever end or was he sentenced to be so severed and broken?

It was so noisy today.

Well at first it had been a little too cold, and then the snow had been too high, and, to make it a trifecta of a terrible morning, the winds didn't sound right. It was just such a dull day. But, the most terrible part of the morning totally had to be that was it was too noisy. All those were thrown into a mental pot, and simmered well in the back of the strange soquili's mind as she trudged through the wintery forest land, looking for the source of such a ruckus.

Narrowing her eyes, all of them, in an effort to keep the battledrums in her mind from pounding any of them from straight out of her face, she glowered at the snowy land, the white, colourless landscape only aiding in the head aches and pangs. Shaking it once to try and jumble around whatever was warring in there, she lifted her head again to make heads and tails of where she was. Well she was in a forest - not far off from where she had taken up some sort of sanctity since her last run in with The Brothers. Having made a pact with Dante, she kept to her word about staying in the area, close enough for him to find her, atleast. But the nomad's soul still burned within her, and once again she found herself straying around the land - never too far, but far enough that she had to stay for nights rests here and there.

She wandered too much.

At the finish of that statement filtering through her tired mind, her sensitive ears perked at the sound of familiarity - voices. It took her a few moments to guess a location, the drums in her mind and the dull hum that flowed on the ill begotten wind. Turning her body towards the general area, she trotted forward through the snow - something she usually blessed as a miracle of life, the fluffy white snow normally made her feel better. But not today.

Taking towards the break in the forest, her eyes widened as words started to form on the voices she had been following, the familiar tones of two of them making her mood sharpen greatly, as her trot sped up, the jingling of glass on metal suddenly ringing into the air once more, but as she got to the break, and her eyes withheld the view of the little clearing, her voice finally erupted out, singing only one word, the first word of her day.

"Oh." It was sharp, and almost confused, a question in a statement as her eyes widened in both happiness and curiousity. There they both were, Dante, the ashen one and Ez, the white pelted one - he was amusingly blending so well into the snow. But beside them, two forms she was unaware of. She, the mare with them, was beautiful with her dark graces and dainty look - who was she? Another friend? She had an air of motherhood and years behind her, it made the young mare fidget a bit. But the other one, the foal, confused her greatly. He looked like Ez, if Ez had suddenly decided to shed his horns, the voidless eyes filled with joy and childish exuberance. It had been awhile since she saw that mirrored in the other's eyes. But.. who. Who's was it?

Jerking her head back, she raised an eyebrow and curved her muzzle in a confused fashion for a moment, watching the foal, before turning to the other adults once more, and lowering her head respectfully. ".. H-Hey!" Was all she could muster up, feeling suddenly silly about barging in so unexpectantly.

Dante was glad that Ezriel was able to say something this time, and he sympathized with his brother as the words came out of his mouth. It must have been awful.. telling this sort of stuff to your mother, the one you cared about the most. Dante didn't know how he felt about it, and he felt his own body lean over tiredly on a nearby tree. He had never seen Ezriel look so broken, and he hoped his mother's love could help him. He remembered he fled to his own mother in a time of need, and hopefully his brother would feel as refreshed as he did so long ago.

It wasn't shocking to see his mother's reaction to Rue, who had affectionately loved her back. That was good at least, and Dante smiled at that twist of fate. It was so like their mother to be amazingly kind to everyone she met, and that made Dante smile a bit to himself. And Rue.. thankfully he was incredibly kind as well. Even if he was hyper, Dante enjoyed that about him, since it made him stand out so much.

There was no reason for him to say anything towards his brother and mother for many moments, and Dante silenced himself as they exchanged words to each other. He was shocked to see Tal approach, and Dante widened his eyes before staring at the familiar female. "Tal.. wow hello!" And it seemed the meeting would only get more interesting, since Ezriel and Dante's other support system had promptly arrived.

Dante didn't want Tal to just stand there, so he walked over to her and greeted her with a smile. "Its nice to see you again. I'd introduce you this second, but." Dante then paused, and looked over to his mother and brother. "But they seem to be working out something that needed to be said. But that's ok, I am sure you can meet my mother very soon!" For some reason, Dante felt better about the entire situation, especially since Tal had arrived. She was always so positive about everything, and he knew she would be fine with what happened to his brother. He hoped that Ezriel would see that as well.

"I see you met Rue." Dante then said to Tal, with an amused smile. "That's Ezriel's son you know." he then added, with a happy nod.

Korrine laughed. She laughed loud and strong and it was both at the adorableness of her grandson and the foolishness of her son. She laughed, and laughed, barely able to contain all the emotion she felt.

"Compare you to Reaper?" she started, between bursts of laughter, "Oh darling. Look around you. Take it all in. Here and now, us all together. Your son playing happily. The love we have. I see a family. How could I ever compare you to Reaper?" The mare turned and nipped at her son playfully and lovingly, "Don't you fret none. I do want to hear all about it later, but I can promise you, that nothing you could have done could get me to ever compare you to him. Rue, I do believe you have a silly daddy. Silly."

The mare turned and started making playful faces to Rue as she repeated the word 'silly' a few more times. Then she lowered her head and nuzzled the little stallion right good. While it was true that she was a little disappointed, it wasn't because he had a foal. Her only regret was not knowing about it sooner and having the chance to be there when they first stumbled out of their baskets. But there would be other chances, surely, with both her sons and daughter. She needn't be so selfish.

Just then, another voice came from the distance and Korrine raised her head to see a mare approaching. She was rather strange looking but she had learned long ago and the hard way that you shouldn't judge someone based on appearance. It seemed like it took a long time for most to accept Meera, Dante and especially Ezriel. "Hello," she called back in greeting, not really knowing what else to say. Did the mare know her sons?

Dante's response confirmed that at least he knew the mare so she felt a little more at ease. Was that the mare Dante had once mentioned to her? She searched her brain for a name but none came to mind, so she remained unsure. She did however, smile in greeting. It made her happy to know Dante had a friend. Was things looking up for her sons? She was unsure with Ezriel since he seemed a little put off but surely, Rue could be nothing short of a miracle.

Ezriel stood there, muscles tightening as his eyes sunk low to the ground unable to lift upwards as his mother laughed. The stallions spaded, spiked tail curled around his right, hind leg while his crimson brows furrowed. There was a clear part of him that was angry for even telling his mother at first- wishing that he hadn't and that need to run someplace far away seemed to tug a frown across his maw. Even Rue seemed to giggle while not even have the faintest idea of what was going on and in all honesty it was better that way.

Wincing slightly, his emotions changed as she began to speak. What was that? She- she wasn't nor couldn't compare him to Reaper? It puzzled him. From those whom he had met and even since childhood many compared him to the fallen angeni and held that same fear and hauntings as both father and son were so similiar both in looks and in mentality. Even still such a connection seemed to hang over him and those who knew of the demon already harbored premotioned ideas of Ezriel.

It was simply a cycle that never could be broken yet for the moment it seemed that such vicious cycle was not allowed even to be merely thought of nor could cross ones mind.

As his mother nipped at him, Ezriel tenderly nuzzled against her and nickered softly or perhaps more in an apologetic manner. The stallion bit down on his lower lip, raising his eyes to his mothers as he intook a deep breath and exhaled from out of his nostrisl. "I just didn't- I didn't want to hurt you. I didn't want you to see me as him even though others have. I want to be seen as 'Ezriel' and not 'the son of Reaper'," he commented, low and reserved as his posture seemed more upright rather than weighted down and troubled with burdens and mixed emotions.

The little colt stared from father to grandmother, his maw hanging ajar slightly as his black orbs were wide and in awe. Oblivious to the conversation at hoof, the foal giggled at Korrine's repeated use of the word silly which was accompanied by an assortment of faces. Rue clopped his front hooves on the ground, grinning from ear to ear as his head swayed around along with both his crimson mane and stubby tail.

"Silly daddy- silly, silly, silly!" Rue repeated, nearly bouncing up and down with pure glee and joy.

The little cogs in his mind seemed to turn as he giggled once again, feeling his grandmothers gentle nuzzle. He was quick to react and nuzzled her back, giving a lopsided smile as his ears flickered every which way. To think that he had a grandmother! And she was fun! Not only fun but she ran fast! Rue liked to go fast and grandma liked to go fast! The only realization that had struck his mind that he was going to be able to have even more fun! Although he loved his family dearly and never did like to stray away from then and rather clinged to his father, Rue now had another playmate and most certainly more fun. "Fun, fun, fun! Rue have fun with grawnmothu', Daaaawntaaaaaay an daddy- he will!" The colt exclaimed, pure black orbs identicle to his fathers darting around looking for what excitement laid ahead.

And somehow it seemed that fun had just made another entrance.

Sharply the little colt turned and shifted himself towards Dante and the newcomber big-thing. He strained his little eyes as he found himself intaking a deep gasp as he stumbled hurriedly to his hooves. Who was that? From the looks of it Rue was finding himself sure that it was a new friend, a very glowy and fun looking friend with many eyes! And a cool tail! And horns! He couldn't help but squeal to himself, prancing closer with his head stretched forwards.

"HYUUUUUU BIG THING!" He called out estatically as his prance became more of a stumbling step. The little colt tilted his head slightly while his eyes seemed wide and struck with amazement. There were so many colors! Very bright colors! And those eyes! And the tail! Rue found himself being lured by the strange tail, approaching with caution as he inched closer and closer. "Sooooooooo pretty....sooooooo gloooooooowy...." the colt whispered in delight as he followed its movement and attempted to tap it with his muzzle.

"Rue thinks big thing is beaaaaaautiful........"

Ezriels mind had secluded itself, thoughts wrapping themselves around his brain and constricting his ability to focus or even pay attention. But there was something that seemed to snap the stallion out of his small trance- it was a voice. A very, very, very familiar voice.

Jerking his head up slightly while pale ears flickered, Ezriel knitted his crimson brows slightly as his head tilted ever so slightly. Could it be? No. That would just be too much of a damn coinscidence! The stallion shrugged his shoulders, shaking his head slightly as he turned around and at that moment he could feel his eyes widen with surprise at his own doubt and a relieved and reassuring smile tugging at his maw. Hot damn what a coinscience! And what luck too! It had been a while since he had seen Tal and- oh damn did he have a lot he needed to tell her. But it seemed that already she must have been qued in to learning about that small nearly identical colt that was Rue, his son. And even now Ezriel realized that he could very well be scorned for not telling the unqiue and insightful mare about his 'situation'.

Ezriel winced slightly, a very hesitant and sheepish grin sliding across his maw as his ears swiveled back.

There was no sense in hiding Rue as already his son had made it towards her and the only 'real' thing to do was to admit it and take it like a stallion. But at the mere thought of such an act his head hung slightly lower and a deeper breath exhaled from out of his notrils. There was no use fighting it and, slowly, the stallion began to walk closer.

"I'm not late for another session am I, doctor?" He teased as best he could. After all, she was like he and Dante's own therapist and long had he considered her a close friend and not just the 'family doctor'. Walking with a casual pace as he tried to hide away the insivible invalids of pain and affliction which still toiled at his mind, Ezriel smiled as best he could.

"You're always find me at the worst and best times. I'm starting to think that the tab Dante and I have created is starting to add up. The damage between the two of us might need compensation...." he chuckled slightly, not knowing exactly how the mare would react or even say.

"Especially for this....."

It was remarkably refreshing to see the brothers react to her presence as normally as usual. They'd give her a pained, but comforting look, something that said "I've done something silly", like when a foal cut it's leg on a brush or shoved it's sister into the high snows. Big eyes and almost apologetic features.

As Dante finally realized her being in the snow-littered clearing, she turned to him with almost pleading and question filled eyes, trying to read his features for answers as to who the other two were. He seemed calm, normal Dante with his worried eyes and pensive aura around him - so he knew atleast one of the soquili well, no one would be this calm around a group of strangers. "Dante..." came out of her strange muzzle when he finally said hello, almost wanting to ask the questions, but as he kept talking, he answered some of them already for her.

"M-Mother." She repeated, looking towards the dark-graced mare again, her eyes lightening up slightly so in dawning. "O-oh, Your mother. I see!" Deep inside she breathed a deep sigh in relief, how strange it would have been if she were anything else, a mare situated with one of the brothers, and she, a strange mare barging in to take limelight away. A spry little flip of a creature. Anyways, that was beyond her, and with a sweet smile she bowed her head carefully towards the mare - with respect and awe, a strong lady this was. "A greeting to you too, fair one." She answered, acting more like her father meeting another mare, than Talullah, the strange little energy ball. Turning her head towards the ashen brother once more, she raised her eyebrows as if physically asking for more information. The last answer hit a rough and very odd key with her.

It was as if time stopped for a moment or two as she just stared kind of bluntly at her friend, her eyes boring into him and her eyebrows raised high in both uncertainty and amazement. Upon hearing the very creature in question rush up to her, she snapped out of her reverie, and looked down to him, her eyes all wide and regarding him with stricken awe. Something clicked inside of her as she heard him exclaim about her size and her genetic graces, and she let out a slightly nasally laugh, sometting a kin to a 'snrk' before stretching her maw into a wide and long smile, both at Ez' predictament, and the little foal. Both in amusement, no offences she hoped were taken.

"Well, I spy a little fuzzball at my hooves, and I think I've successfully lured it to me by my tail. It's a good thing I'm not a lore creature, come to eat the young of Stallions and Mares, or I'd have a wonderful meal!" she exclaimed to him, deep inside holding her confusion and wonderment, all would be explained. An ear twitched as the different voice hit the air, one she was familiar with, Ezriel, her most valued patient. If she had charged him, he would have made her rich. Smiling once more to Rue before lifting her head again, metal on glass ringing true again before she cantered her head, regarding him loosely.

"I think it's a prime example right now, of a good time for a session, my dear little patients - but I don't seek payment, what kind of shoulder to lay on would I be if I forced you of your material goods for a piece of mind?" she answered to him lightly, amusement laced within. "I'm just surprised you didn't seek me out earlier. It's actually kind of funny when you've finally swallowed the jist of it. I'm all ears. And eyes, apparently."

"Yes, this is our mother, Tal." Dante was glad to see everyone was socializing, and as usual he stepped back and watched intuitively. Ezriel was able to explain things to his mother, and Rue and Tal were getting along wonderfully. The words from their mother were uplifting, and Dante had no doubt that she would instantly help his brother out. Ezriel seemed to also be glad that Tal had arrived, and that made Dante glad she was there. Well, he was always glad she was there in reality, but her being there meant that a genuine support system had arrived, and Dante was sure that Ezriel would recognize that instantly.

"Oh I don't need anything." Dante then said, when he realized Tal had called him and Ezriel patients. He was only there... because it was his duty? He clearly cared about his brother, so of course he would help him out. But the support that Tal and his mother had were something that Dante could never create, and the stallion had accepted that many minutes ago. Maybe his use was to be a physical support to Ezriel? He supposed that was better then being nothing..

But still, the gray stallion stood and watched over everyone, before finding complete amusement in Rue. Rue had no idea with what was going on, and Dante was jealous of that prominent innocence. What a lucky fellow.. he wished he had that skill while growing up, and whatever Ezriel was doing was surely letting the boy enjoy a rich and youthful childhood despite all of the nightmares around the family.

"I'll let Ez explain what is going on, Tal. But I am glad you finally get to meet our mother." When Dante brought his eyes on his mother again, he smiled, only because he was always so proud to point out his mother. The situation was entirely in Ezriel's hands, and Dante was careful to keep to himself when necessary. "Mother, this is an important friend of Ez and I's. She is always there for us, and we owe her a lot."

"A friend of my sons is a friend of mine," Korrine stated genuinely. She was very curious about the mare and her possible relationship with her sons but she never liked to pry. Her sons always came to her when they had something to say and though it took time for them to find the words at times, it always came.

It seemed that no matter what would happen in their lives, her sons were destined to carry big burdens though she was sure they brought some of it upon themselves unnecessarily. It also seemed like this friend of theirs had helped one or both of her sons before in the past and she was thankful for that, though perhaps, she was a little jealous. But she knew some things were easier to tell to a friend than a mother. A mothers love was often biased, forgiving, loving, and if Korrine failed at one thing, it was being stern. She could not bring herself to cause harm to her sons or daughter. She'd sooner wish that pain upon herself.

Though she had only known the colt for a few minutes, she was so smitten with him. Her grandson had such charisma and energy. It certainly made her feel younger than she was.

"Rue, would you like to play with me? I think perhaps we should let your daddy and uncle spend time with their friend. Besides, I think you owe me a rematch on that race. As for you two," she paused to look at Dante and then to Ezriel, "I would like to spend some time with you before you leave. I hope you'll at least stay until morning?"

Excitement seemed to bubble inside of the small at the spoken mention of 'play' and 'rematch' that one could only anticipate and suspect to see the lively and exhilarated colt suddenly explode in dire glee and pure enjoyment. His attention had quickly switched from the very tall, glowy-pretty big-thing mare as his voidless orbs found themselves widened and glued upon his grandmother.

Play? PLAY! Did he want to play? Oh yes! Rue loved games and adventures and having fun of all sorts and how could he not want to have fun?

It was more than clear to him that daddy, uncle Dante and the pretty-big thing were talking and Ezriel had always tried to reinforce and somehow engrave good manners into Rue or try to distract him from whatever was going on. Needless to say his grandmothers distraction was one that he couldn't help but find appealing than listening to whispers and conversations that didn't register nor did they make sense! The little colt would let them talk and talk and talk while he was going to have fun!

Like an excited puppy, Rue seemed to let his front hooves slink out beyond him as his small, crimson tail swayed like the tail of a canine with great zest. "REMATCH REMATCH! Grawnmothu' race Rue 'gain!" The colt bursted out, sliding back up to all four hooves as he estatically clopped his hooves on the ground with much emphasis due to his anxiousness.

"Race to grove entrace? Race to mountains? Race to-towards whur Grawnmothu's from? Grawnmothu' choose but Rue win will!"

A rather large lopsided smile stretched itself across his maw, a giggle or two emitting from his chest in a sort of laugh that often most adults pulled when they were certain about something- or rather 100% certain. Rue had heard it from Ezriel once or twice and strangely enough there were times where the small colt seemed to duplicate and sound and exact replica and mimic of his fathers actions and which such a thing always did cause Ezriel to be somewhat amused while gritting his teeth slightly.

Ezriel was new at being a parent but Rue didn't know and didn't care for in the eye of his son Rue was certain that his father was the best. He had a funny, silly, caring and strong daddy whom he emulated- Rue wanted to be just like him but still stay 'Rue'; just like what Uncle Dante had advised him on.

Slinking a bit forward with a glance here and there back to his grandmother, Rue laughed.

"Grawnmothu' an Rue race now?" He questioned, slinking just a bit further as he was trying to get some sort of edge.

Oh the cleverness of Rue!

For a few moments Ezriel remained slient as his thoughts mulled over once again the ordeal and 'mess'. It felt as if he had told the story nearly a million times but then again there was certainly someone who hadn't heard or it nor someone who needed to hear it to cue the stallion in on how to make sense of all of this. As his Mother was helping to pull Rue away and leave he, Dante and Tal to talk, Ezriel nodded his head with a light smile.

"Yes- I plan on staying until the afternoon tomorrow. I'm sure you'll tire him out and Rue's a hell of a sleeper," he managed to chuckle softly before he pursed his lips and looked back towards both his brother and dearest friend.

Even now he could feel his brain mulling over and reverting back to square one with the details and the ordeals that led up to the eventual consequence of becoming a sire to two foals yet even still that horrible, empty void within his heart had yet to be filled after the loss of Nimue whom his own father, Reaper, had won fair and square with dealing in affairs that no mare could ever understand. The stallion shook his head, wincing slightly as the scars across his body, legs and even the large, circular pink scar forged by his fathers largest of spikes which sunk into his shoulder was still visible and rather tender at times. Such a recollection and remembrance of things seemed to stir up the feelings that laid trapped inside of him and those feelings that seemed to rekindle the emotions and the pains that he so desperately sought to forget.

Much like a reoccuring nightmare that one dreams with a broken heart, Ezriel was realizing that some days waking up to a new day was the hardest part. Yet alongside the loss and pain he had been blessed with two foals.

Rue was strange and so very skewed between reality and surrealism of life yet never ceased to amaze him nor give him affection and somehow keep the stallion in line, so to speak. As for Cassiel- well, the mare certainly reminded himself so much of himself when he was little! Damn, it was easy to see the attributes and even small pieces of himself that she had inherited but she was smart and opening up to him. She certainly was interesting just like Rue yet rather in a way which made the stallion reflect on himself from time to time. Although at first he dreaded the sight of their baskest it seemed that Ezriel was warming up to the facts ever so slowly but sure as hell he wouldn't admit that openly.

A sigh escaped from his nostrils as they widened, flaring slighty with a nod of his head. "It started after meeting to most damn-tastic mare named Nimue. I- I just started to always find myself with her and hang around her even though she was a bit off of her damn rocker and mind but I never gave a damn nor cared about that," he began, pursing his lips as his spaded, spiked devils tail swayed low over the ground with an occasional spike skimming the top of the grass and dragging in the dirt. "I really cared for her. But then Reaper found her one day and....he was just- smitten dumbstruck with her. After he had talked with her and was seeing her somehow he found out that Nimue had connections with me." Ezriel swallowed hard as already he could feel his forelegs begin to tremble as his grounded his teeth together. Why it still was so hard to talk about he didn't know but everytime he could only imagine his hearts surface becoming fractured with faults and cracks, leaving it to break off piece by piece.

"So then the only way to settle it was that Reaper and I fought....and I- I ********' lost- I lost her to him."

He never cried. Ezriel rarely cried except for two times: When Reaper had thrusted his horn through his shoulder and nearly killed him and when Eponine had broken the news to him that she was pregnant. But even now small tears welted up in his eyes and he tried to hold them back and keep them from refraining to fall down his cheeks. A cloven hoof tore at the earth underfoot as the spikes of his tail clawed into the earth. The stallion took a deep breath and continued, clearing his throat and snorting.

"After losing and being healed by my mother and Glamrock I...met a mare named Eponine. I was so broken, so damn tired of hurting and when she came along and was just awestruck and kept trying to comfort me and lay with me that- that it just happened." Ezriel shook his head. "I didn't rape the damn mare, I didn't mean to do anything to her it just...it just ******** happened!" His shoulders tensed as his whole body seemed tighten at the recollections of everything. Ezriel frowned with a flick of his ears as a single, minute tear trailed down the side of his face from his right eye. It was never meant to be like this- it wasn't what he planned.

Intaking a deep breath, the stallion closed his eyes momentarily. "The result was two foals; a boy and a girl. I'm damn sure her family hates me and I have no intentions of meeting them but I'm gonna make sure that my son and daughter know my side of the family since they've entangled in the mess with Reaper as well for being part of the family," he commented, shrugging his shoulders followed by a shake of his head.

"I'm damn sure Reaper knows they exist..."
