(( Ah I see. XD She might be sadly disappointed. He might become a fan of hers for this. ))
Lance tried to hang on as best he could with thumbless paws. He might of been a little startled if it wasn't for the fact that what was happening was so amazing to him. Climbing higher and higher up the mountain like hill. This was stuff he dreamed about doing. 'Wait till my sisters hear about this...' The pup mentally snickered as he imagined his sister's reactions.
Lance turned his attention back to the other and was ready to absorb everything she had to teach him. "Yeah I got it, but... h-how do I know my domain again? I mean... I never knew it was that needed so I haven't played close attention. I don't think I even know how to listen for that stuff..." His ears folded flat. Somehow he just knew he had probably asked a stupid question there. The whole concept confused him, though. How did one feel their domain? He knew his mother mentioned something once about the water, but he had no idea about his father.

Motoko stopped in her tracks and sighed, "Child, you must understand, that becoming an elder isn't all about being big and having powers. Becoming and elder is a state of mind! Not all dragonfly's that became elders trained for it, some just realized the potential and reached their goal. The training is so that you can be a strong elder when you become one, and it will give you discipline. Over all, becoming and elder will be up to YOU and how YOU choose to think and feel when you grow older. Your domain will come to you over time, nothing will happen of night. To believe such a thing would be ludicrous and I dislike ludicrous thinkers, understand? " Motoko growled and bounded the rest of the way up the hill and scrambled over the top. It was actually more of a cliff, because at the top, the land flattened out and the forest began yet again. The wall of boulders was probably created after a large rock slide. Motoko put her head close to the ground expecting the teen to get off.
