As a writer, I know that you can't have a gigantic plot advance every time, but every story told in a series advances the plot to some extent. 3nodding

i find most my ideas are exodus type episodes. an almost definate checkmate for the enemy. like getting quite a few zpms or a couple new ships or fatality rates and stuff. i seem to not have the ability to give them less s**t.
like during the last new episode all my sins remembered i thought of the idea that they put the zpm in the oddysy and had it cloak. and it was close to the planet watching the battle waiting to capture s**t. like they beamed a team aboard one of the ships the replicators left and got the hell out of there before the explosion or something. or like got some zpms off the planet away from the power drain of the replicators. good merchandise though.

I don't think they have a cloak the right size for the ships, though.

you mean the deadulus and the apollo. remember.
and the cloak thing has been done before in the episode the shroud jackson ties the zpm power into the shields and makes it cloak. which would mean they would have to look at the configuration of the shield thing and remember it or take them out and make a new shield configuration thing. you never know really.
