MegaTherion777 Digital Malevolence Metal Valkyrie Digital Malevolence I already have two, unfinished, tattoos...they will be finished on the 22nd of february. My parents knew, they didn't care but my dad would have prefered I didn't. I think tattoos and my "peers" are pissing me off, actually I don't think, I know. It seems like everyone now-a-days thinks "oh I am 18, I should get a tattoo, what should I get?" which is stupid because if you don't already want one then you shouldn't get one. Also, tattoos used to be for bikers, seamen, prisoners and other "crude" life styles....so why the ******** do I walk down the hallways in school and see ditzy, dumb, preppy, blonde girls who cant find a lit candle in dark room sporting around their tramp stamp tattoos?......I hate my generation, the world is ******** if these people are supposed to be the new leaders. Oh I feel the same way. Which is honestly why I probably won't get a tatto, even though I think they look cool and whatnot. But my friend got one with her best friend, of this design they created way back when. So in my eyes, it's a legit reason. But yeah, I think it's stupid to get a tattoo just because you can. Indeed. I wanted the tattoos I have since I was seven, so it seemed like a good enough idea to get it, and I dont regret it and never will. i agree that tats are not and should not be for everybody... however, i wanna get two, one of the lion rampant on the scottish flag, and one of the clan hamilton crest. they are both symbols of my scottish heritage, which i take great pride in, and are not things i will regret. i'm 18 but i don't have them yet, because i'm a little short on funds stressed Aw, you have a cool clan symbol. Mines like some knight helmet and hand I think, it's not very metal looking.

Gravechylde If I could figure out a good design that I wouldn't regret, I might get one, but I can't think of anything that I know I'll continue to like forever. same...plus that my girl would not really like that...and dont want to do that to her anyway... and i think i would regret it right after i have it...

when I got my tattoo, around my 18th birthday, my mom already knew I was going to get one. At first she didn't like it until i tried to involve her. I designed my own tattoo and she helped me with finding examples and such. When I got home from the shop she gave my ice scream and was like really enthousiastic. Last week I tried again tho but this time I don't think she's giving in.

My mom actually paid for my first two tattoos (I was 16 for the 1st one)...
Every single tat I have, I thought about for a long time before getting it and made sure that it's something that won't look awful when I'm 80.
