"I'm not familiar with hunting bears or hunting in general so perhaps interception would be the best option, head off the next group and capture one goblin." Shivering A bead of sweat passed beside her hair, the only visible evidence that she was terrified of speaking to so many people. Turning toward the elven girl she sighed and shook her head. "No collapsing peoples homes or livelihoods, it would be worse then what the goblins are doing." Readdressing the machine and Warder she smiled wryly. "When it comes to combat, I don't flinch. We shall intercept them at their next point of attack."

As you move deeper into the invaded territory, your keep your sense alert, hoping to spot a marauding band of goblins to intercept. Your search is fruitful, as the Goblins are taking no effort to disguise their movements. At a farmhouse just ahead, you see what appears to be 4 Goblin Patrollers and a goblin War Dog ransacking the property. The dog looks up shortly after you notice them, an intent expression on it's face. You see it's muzzle searching the wind, as it starts to bark excitedly. The Goblins stop their looting, and turn towards your party, expressions of evil delight on their faces.

"Don't worry, I was just joking about that Lurea," Karythelia breathed quietly,"So any idea which one looks the smartest?" The bard held her lyre gingerly with one hand, inspecting their party's new concern.

Quietly observing the rest of the group up until now, 4 Co. speaks up. "I detect a minor threat, this group should not be a challenge to our party. As for which one of their group is the leader, I can not be sure. Except for that I am detecting the most intelligence from the dog." 4 Co. readies himself for combat as he waits for Lurea's cue and for further analysis of the situation.

((If we want to capture one of the goblins, do we have to knock them all out or stun one and keep it conscious? I need to know before we make our plan of attack.))

Since there is no precedent within the rules of the system for capturing an enemy monster, I guess it's really up to your roleplay. If you can explain your sub-dual in an appropriate and logical manner, I won't have an issue with it.

Or if you prefer a special ruling for this Dungeon and subdual, I could go with this:
Subdual: If you so desire, you may state that your Normal damage is being used for Subdual this turn. All Normal Damage is halved for purposes of Subdual; Special and Magic damage is ineligible for the attempt. If a monster is reduced to 0 HP with Subdual damage, it is considered subdued, and can no longer participate in combat. A Subdued creature becomes eligible for interaction between combat, with no opportunity for further aggression.
Let me know what you want to do, and I will post the beginning combat as appropriate.

"Quickly 4 Co. take out the dog and one of the patrollers. Warder focus on capturing one, we will need your hunting expertise for this. Faetana you take out the remaining patrollers. I will help warder capture the patroller he chooses." Running forward to encounter the enemy, Lurea Attack hoping to subdue the little savage.

"I'm with you!" Warder shouts, and drawing his weapon, joins Lurea in attacking her target in hopes of subduing it.

"Your intstructions seam logical. Activating combat mode." A portal apears above the Goblin War Dog and the Gravity bursts forth. "I like dog! I was made in China!" The Gravity Sword slams in the ground in front of the Goblin War Dog to first block off its attack. Then in slides along the ground and slams into it, delivering a powerful blow. 4 Co. Turns to one of the Goblin Patrollers and activates his MuDeQuSiGe, causing the ground beneath the Goblin Patroller to liquify. The Goblin Patroller sinks down into the now liquid earth to its earthy doom.

"Sure thing Lurea!" the half elf grinned enthusiastically. Using her lyre free hand, she hurled a fluorescent energy burst at an unclaimed goblin. Pirouetting sharply, Karythelia faced down the last patroller. The bard's fingers flew nimbly, the melody of her destructive serenade sailing through the wind.

(Dice for War Dog)
In a series of furious and powerful attacks, the entire Goblin raiding party is wiped out, leaving only a single subdued Goblin Patroller to answer for it's deeds. They manage a few parting shots before they go down however, dealing 4 points to 4 Co Beta, and 6 points to Lurea. Lurea's regeneration quickly eliminates her minor wounds; Warder and Karythelia seem unconcerned, as the goblins were unable to even pierce their defenses. The groggy Goblin begins to stir, realizing that it's predicament is far from over...

"They want to know too, so it might be best if you speak quickly and as intelligably as you can. The metal man is especially viscious in his questioning."
