Xylia rolled her eyes before sitting down by Jynx. "Whatever you say, Jynx." Holding out her hands to the fire she looked over her shoulder to Kale, "Are those what Willow has been working on?"
"Yeah, they're supposed to made of several herbs along with a spark of magic." Kale pursed his lips thinking, "Supposed to make your body be able to stand the cold." Placing the pack back down he moved over to them. "Squirrels?"

Ah, that Willow. She was such a thoughtful cattaur. Jynx smiled at all the found memories she had of the woman instead of the horrible ones involving her brother. It was best not to think of him if one wanted to keep the smile on their face.
" Aye, " Jynx rammed sticks up through the little animals and helds them above the flame. " You both must be hungry. I figured that now would be just as good a time as any to get some energy into your tums. " Turning them periodically, she held them down near the base of the flame where it was warmest. " We'll be leaving out tomorrow before the sun rises so that we won't get caught up like we did tonight. It may be a bit rough at first but it'll lighten up soon. " She held a rodent out to each of them. " Eat up! "

Kale grabbed the food and began to pick it apart with his fingers before eating it. "Delicious! Thank you, Miss. Jynx." He pulled at a leg with his teeth and swallowed the tender meat. Some grease dripped around his mouth, but he'd take care of looks later. Right now he was starved....but then again there was company eating with them. Confused the centaur turned to glanced at Xylia.
The pinto however was nibbling daintily at her piece and was focused on not getting a single hint of grease on herself. Kale raised his eyebrow at the famous messy huntress and she shrugged, "Too cold to wash any dirt or grease off...."
He rolled his eyes playfully and Xylia gently punched him in the shoulder. "Behave you!" She turned and faced Jynx, "He's right, it's delicious!"

Jynx laughed cheerfully, happy that her simple meal was met with such happiness. " Your very welcome, Kale. " She looked down at her own meat with disdain. Truthfully, she wasn't hungry at all but she knew that in order to pull off the journey ahead of her she would need every bit of strength she could find.
The young mustang slowly peeled strips of meat off the rabbit. She felt ill with every bit of food she managed to each and soon sat her meal next to the fire, plump meat sliding off of the bone. Jynx turned round to pick up a strip of blanket. " Here, " She smiled, reaching out to dabble the cloth on the skin around Kale's mouth. " No use looking like some kind of dog, right? "

Yawning as if it was usual for her to go to sleep around this time, Xylia started scooting to the back of the cave. "This cold wears me out!" She moaned before digging out a wool blanket and facing the wall laid under it, "Night you two!" Her face split into a playful grin as he laid her head on her arms.
Kale shook his head and turned back to Jynx, "Ah...thanks." If it wasn't for his dark complexiion, Jynx would of probably seen the faintest hint of a spreading blush. Glancing down at what had Jynx left of her food his voice became worried, "Are you okay?"
