Well some of us have to be grown up sometimes or else we can't succeed in the art industry. xD They'll tell you it's crap outright and make you redo it even if you've spent hours on end working on it.

Her collarbones just look weird. Like, they don't join together like that in the middle, exactly.

The Iconoclast Her collarbones just look weird. Like, they don't join together like that in the middle, exactly. Exactly. You just need to look at some reference and fix that up and it will make a world of difference in that piece.

I applaud the fact that you're going for broke with rendering the hair strand to strand, but I can't help but feel that going strand for stand may be overdoing it and also making the hair look flat overall. Maybe pull back on the areas that are in the shade for the most part, but thats a personal thought. Either way, you should boost the contrast on the hair immensely, it's really not holding the same value range as the rest of the subject (which could use some pushing, but not as much...).
Thats really all I can really point out at this point, any further and it starts to degrade into nitpickin....
LOVELY PIECE BY THE WAY
IF NOT FER OBVIOUS REASONS : D

You know what would be a great idea for the hair? Show more detail in some areas than others. It will give you the illusion of highly rendered hair AND will make it less likely for the hair to distract from the over-all image. It could overpower everything with all that detail, but maybe not... it would just suck if you spent all that time on it only to realize you have to tone it down.

That makes sense... I do tend to over do it and make it too chaotic in some of my pieces... lol... I guess I'm subconsciously afraid of empty spaces.

In the highlights make it all detailed and let it fade out in the shadow. It'll probably help make her hair really silky looking too.
