((Who DID steal the spear, anyway? Totally missed that bit of info.))
Cath's eyebrows shot up, alarmed. "Me!?" She cried. "You're asking me what to do? You're the one who drove Bengion out of Daein!" She released her breath, scared, but trying to keep her sanity. "C'mon, we'd better go back to Nino and stick by her, even if we drag her along in our plans."
((I might have misspelled Bengion wrong. I dunno sweatdrop ))

((It's not my fault if I never catch you guys, un... Every time I check on the RP, there aren't any new posts.))
Tori quietly took her tome from her waist and opened it. She flipped through a few pages before she finally stopped to read a spell. Running her finger across a few lines, she moved her mouth, as if pronouncing the spell out loud. The sage held out her left hand towards the guards. "Elthunder." Tori whispered. With a crack, a few bolts of lightning went crashing into the room.

"Uh, umm..." Micaiah responded as she brought her magic tome to her chest. It was true, all of it was, except she had been surrounded by friends and companions then. Now, the silver haired girl was mostly alone. All the people she had by her side now were Cath and Nino, and they were from a different country than her. She must have looked strong in their eyes, but she was so very weak in truth. The seer wasn't about to give up though, she had promised to protect Nino with everything she had, and breaking a promise was a very bad thing.
Before Micaiah could truly respond a large explosion was heard and bolts of lightning could be seen in the dust that had been stired up. Their time was up; they had to stand and fight. Micaiah couldn't yet she the enemy, thus couldn't launch an attack of her own. It vaguely reminded her of how the enemy could always see through fog of war. It was odd, because one would think it would hinder them too, perhaps they had special heat vision goggles or something of the sort. Either way, they were sitting ducks for now, maybe some wind magic could have cleared things up.

Cath froze at the crashings and bolts, hair standing up on the back of her neck. A brick or two fell from the ceiling and dropped uncannily close, and the walls seemed to have an afterglow of the electric charge. They were here so soon?
"Mages." She said. "They have mages." She grabbed Micaiah's arm. "Come on! We have to get back to Nino!"

Zerreißen, zerschmeißen,
At the blast of lightning, Shiva ran in. His brain quickly calculated his two opponents, and decided to take on the more dangerous of the two, the silver-haired mage. She seemed to be the closer one as well, even if the other female was dragging her away. Retreat for them, was not going to be an option.
As he charged, he partially pushed the blade of his Wo Dao out with his left thumb, and whilst grasping the hilt with his right hand, put pressure on the full curve of the sheath, to increase draw time by one to two seconds, which were vital in gaining vantage. Under his swift strides, he soon caught up with the fleeing pair, and issued a precise Iaido strike towards the silver-haired maiden's abdominal regions, which was a fast and deadly strike, made with the drawing of the sword.
Zerdrücken, Zerpflücken..Ich muss zerstören!

Cath gasped, screaming slightly, and shoved Micaiah to the side, trying to get them both out of the way of the blade. Still, the swordsman's strike was true to hit, and put a gash in Cath's left forearm, ripping through her sleeve to her skin. Adrenaline shot through her body, reminding her how terrified she really was.
It stung and she drew back, turning to face their enemies. Cath pulled a throwing knife from her belt. "Plagues," she breathed, noting the way the man held his sword. This guy knew how to play.
One thing was obvious, though: Time was up.
Do or die. Sink or swim.
Well, his aim was good--but so was hers. And with all her years of sneaking around, she hoped they'd have a tough time trying to hit her. Micaiah could hold her own fort for a while, too, she knew. But this battle looked almost hopeless.
She threw the knife, then grabbed her dagger, completely forgetting that there was a mage around.

The silver haired teen gasped as she was shoved from the blade's path. Thanks to the hasty decision from Cath, Micaiah's skin had been saved, for now, but the orange haired girl had paid the price that was meant for her. The seer regained her balance and pushed Nino behind her, she would need to gain a bit of distance or chance a recoil from the assailant should she strike back. All the sudden movement had caused her to lose her composure for a second, but that second didn't last long as she whipped her tome in front of her.
Micaiah figured she'd have better chances fighting the mage, but for now since she could not see the other attacker, she decided upon helping her companion. The amber eyed liberator would have liked to use 'Sacrifice' on her bleeding friend, but the drain could possibly leave her even more useless in battle. The light magic user finally decided to attack, though the decision didn't take all that long in truth.
She inhaled slightly in preparation to shout out her attack. She lifted her free hand horizontally above the ground and shouted, "Thani!" Yellow light glowed from her hand and she raised it above her head. She did a quick spin, being sure not to hit any of her allies, as a ball of light from above shot towards the trueblade.

((I'm a horrible person... DX))
Tori squinted, staring at the castle. "How inconvenient...." She muttered. The fog had finally gotten thick enough that she couldn't see a meter away. She took a few steps closer to the fight, clutching to her tome tight. Attempting to make each step silent, the sage had finally thought she had ambushed the guards successfully. That was until she had stumbled over a stone in the floor that was at an odd upwards angle. "A--!" Tori shut her mouth as she hit the floor with a loud 'thud', but, she couldn't stop the fact that her stave hit the floor with a loud 'CLANK'. Tori flipped open her book again, and read the spell hastily. "Elthunder!" She shouted, figuring that it wouldn't hurt her attempts at being stealthy any more than her little fall. As the lighting shot out into the battle, the sage quickly, though ungracefully, got herself back onto her feet. She looked down at the berserk stave that she had so carefully packed. It's crystalline orb had shattered, though it wasn't scattered across the floor. "So much for that idea."
