Make out with a squad member. HAHAHAHAhAHAHAHAhAhA!! Just kidding. Learn to march and play well enough that I no longer even think about it. I'm not an amazing enough player to make a district band

I'm an oboe and my greatest accomplishment was when I was actually able to play my solo!

First, a bit of explaining, these bands draw students from 3 different counties and many many schools. Not everyone makes them and they could only let in half of the number they usually do [second time I talk about]. (special performance once every 4 years, uber tiny stage.)
For Clarinet in 8th grade, making Honor Band.... 1st chair, jumping 17 chairs from the previous year.
Freshman making high school honor band, 5th chair. (Uber small stage year) For the Honor Jazz band I was the only Tenor Saxophone let in because they kept the two boys from last year and I never have to try out again, I'm in forever!!!
Music scholarship to high school on Clarinet and Tenor sax. biggrin
