Stripes nodded. "You know that sounds true. I don't really know of anyone else. You are one of the first I've met. So, I guess unless you know someone we must think of something for two."

"I don't know anyone, well, I know Jazz, but I don't think he's around..." Claud replied. An idea popped into his head and he wondered if they could make it work. He began to gather small sticks and rocks, half of them dark colored and half of them light colored, "Neko, my supposed 'owner' was talking about a two player game called 'Checkers', and if we can make a board I think we can play!" He arranged the sticks in a grid to make the board, then set the dark and light colored rocks in their respective places and sat back to see if Stripes would think it was a good idea.

"Yeah, that's for two!" Stripes hadn't played it before but he did think he had heard about it. "Sure lets try that." he went and sat at the light side rocks side of the board. "Okay, we move in diagnal?"

Claud nodded, glad he wouldn't have to explain the game, "Yep!" He took a seat on the side of the dark stones and sat waiting. "Your side goes first," he said.
(Let's see if I can make a board...
How many across is it? Eight?

Stripes looked at the board and moved his piece on the top row farthest right side to one over. "Okay, then your turn."

Claud moved his farthest to the left peice into the side space.

Stripes moved his second row piece to the top row. This looked like a good move. Though, he wasn't sure. He hadn't played it much before.

Stripes looked at the board. "Yes, I guess. I'm not really sure where to move." The niva looked at the board for a time longer and then moved one,

Claud frowned and stared at the board for a while before jumping up and glaring at it. "This thing is giving me a headache!" he frowned again, then looked up at Stripes, "I don't suppose you know any less confusing games?"

Claud tried to think of something to much the same avail as his previous attempts. "Ummm... We could play cards! If we had any cards..." he sighed and continued to attempt to think of a game.

"I know Candyland!" Then he thought about it. "but I don't have that game. Still, it would be fun as what we are kinda like candy and cookies." He chuckled.

Claud laughed as well, "I know that game too! Maybe we can pretend we're in the game?" He started skipping through the trees. "I'm in Candycane Forest!" he called.

Stripes nodded. "Yeah, okay." He looked around at the trees. Candycane forest they were not. However if he thought hard enough and squinted his eyes he could almost see it. "They look like me, the candycane trees."
