DarklingGlory Ok, see that mac2 pic in my sig? right click on that and copy it to your computer. Go to free image hosting like photobucket and start your own account, upload the pic onto it. You'll then get a link to the pic, just paste that in your sig, it should look like this: [*img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/DarklingGlory/MAC/MAC2badge4reduced.jpg[/img] without the * dont use my link or I'll get in trouble smile coool! thankyou 3nodding ye I no i already have a photobucket account...

I'm horrible with putting images on my sig, but i do what i can to recruit.
I also try to post everytime I'm on. It doesn't seem like much, but it does help.

No time for watching movies.
I guess I could start my own thread about kendo or iaido...
But what am I gonna say?
Just ask about who else does, then reply "Oh yeah, cool" to each and every one of them?
There's many, many things you can't discuss without being physically present when it comes to martial arts.
Wich is why I at first thought this would be more of a library with links to pages that display forms and/or techniques.
Maybe some downloads.
Unfortunately, a good deal of the threads are about passing the popcorn...

there just hasn't been that much serious disscussion lately because the forums have been slow...... But absolutly post your instuctors in the hero thread if you want....
And absolutly share info about you Arts. I'm sure someone will get use out of it....

I think we need to advertise more. I have seen pleanty of people outside of our guild disscusing martial arts in the sports section. If we could get some of them, then this guild won't be so empty sometimes.

Atman I think we need to advertise more. I have seen pleanty of people outside of our guild disscusing martial arts in the sports section. If we could get some of them, then this guild won't be so empty sometimes. I was thinking the same thing. I'm gonna see what I can do with that.

well seens im a new member i can probubly post every day after i get home from my martial arts class.but honestly (this is coming from a new member)i think we should have mor forums.maybe i'll start one. 3nodding

No one should be shy about starting a thread if there's a subject that we haven't touched on in an existing thread.
Lately I've been head hunting people out of the sports forums. There's a lot of martialrts in there.

Absolutely, anything and everything to do with MA, or even random other stuff you feel might interest fellow members.
What we could do with is a Picture/vid topic for people to post pictures/vids of themselves doing certain techniques and/or kata's. Unfortunately I dont have a video camera or know of any free vid hosting sites.
It does seem like we're getting more life in here biggrin which is cool

Really, we have pretty good topics, and the posts I've read all range from fairly good to outright insightful. I don't think a thing needs to change.
Mind you, I'm also new, and it might just be that I've no idea what I'm talking about.

i kinda like it the other way cause it makes it that much more valuble.you get what im saying? i mean its not like anyone can get in.and seens we are the selected few, that just makes us that much more important. 3nodding

Obviously we dont want spam but on the other hand we dont want to be topic fascist, we try have a fairly relaxed attitude and at the end of the day if a topic is really inapporpriate we can always delete it.

i know! we can have a guild meeting here on a certain day every week! we can make a poll on what day the people think is a good one of the week! other guilds that i've been going to are doing it!
