She huffed in disapproval at herself, and face pouted when the first tear streamed. But she quickly rubbed at her eye with a paw, and tails intertwined with one-another. The girl lifted herself painfully. Was Fenris still counting...? That indicated that she could still hide? But she didn't feel very much like playing Hide n' Seek anymore - so the kit dragged herself back towards the direction of the Trick Kitsu...
... And then something hit her...
Not playing kind of defeated the purpose of him being her playmate - didn't it? But wouldn't he understand if she told him she got a booboo?
It was hard to walk straight when bark and leaves were stuck on her claws, and Tale shook the things miserably to get the stuff out. But it didn't work - and she wanted her mama.
She stumbled back towards Fenris, ears having flattened. "Feeen..." She whimpered, "I feel off the tree - and got a booboo... and I can't get this stuff off my paws..." she waved it doubtfully towards him. "I never got such a big booboo - and mama isn't here... whatdoIdo...?"

This was definitely the last straw. She cried, whined and wanted her way for far too long. The only reason he wanted to put up with her was for the fun of torturing a little one such as her. But now she ran to him crying? No, he was no longer in the mood to deal with this. His patience was never long to begin with, and being around her only made it run more thin by the second. To begin with, he was never all that interested in actually playing with her as she imagined. Their interests were two seperate things to start. She wanted someone to play with, he wanted to harm her with some trickery. Her crying face only urged such feelings boiling within him. He wanted to crush her, so badly wanted to crush her until nothing was left of her. No one asked for her to touch him. Useless brat.
"I don't care," He growled, "I'm not your mama and I could care less what you or she thinks. Go home crying back to your mama." With his last setence he took a quick swipe against the small child. His back started to turn away from her as he started to make his way.

The swipe hurt, but not quite as bad from falling from the tree - and she was pretty certain she knew why he was mad at her. The truth was, she didn't know - or rather, she thought she did - but she wasn't right. What Tale thought, was that the large male was upset with her for having stopped the game before it even properly started. "... Butbutbut, Fen-Glow-y-Playmate..." She murmured towards him, ears flattened, "We can play again some other time - once I can move my feet properly." She got up on her paws awkwardly, discovering that this bark and these leaves weren't about to leave unless she asked someone for help. She'd make sure to whine for Legend when she got home... or maybe she should whine for Lore, Lore had little paws - then, so did Rhapsody... but chances were the pixie would accidentally hurt her worse in his attempts to help. "And I'll find'ya 'cause you're a playmate for life, remember? It was a deal." She tilted her head, and tails intertwined slightly.
What was she going to tell mommy? 'I was playing with my giant playmate, and I feel from a tree, plus got a booboo... but canyougetthestuffoff?'
... That sounded highly inappropriate. She was sure her mother would be cranky.
"I heart you, m'kay? I promise we'll play later~" And she nuzzled his back leg quickly as she was capable (because she knew he was already angry with her), not to mention apologetically - and then the kit ran on twig-bark-leafy paws towards where she had come.
She'd get her ball later... what she needed now was mama or daddy to make her feel better.
And she was out of sight...
