Yambati watched, noting down some of the basic properties. Mixing and matching... constantly creating. It wasn't something he was good at, but he could respect it. He sat back when they summoned instruments, prepared for a demonstration of sorts. Perhaps seeing it and feeling it in action would help his understanding a little bit more.

The twins noticed Yambati's shift and smiled,"A demonstration will probably help put it all together, hnnn?"
Aureus smiled struck his lamellophone, the humming sound ringing out in a tone that could easily induce a trance. At that, Argentum moved about so the two of them could face one another. Lifting his flute to his lips, an answering call sounded out. Slowly, they played, eyes closed and complimented each other perfectly - timing and rhythms aligned just so to create a whimsical song.
All around, a feeling of balance and meditation arose. Coiling about the twins visible manifestation of their Essence could be seen like vapours curling out and fading away. Then Argentum's voice joined the hypnotic sounds of the lamellophone to stir up the feeling of peace from earlier. This time however, it was more powerful a resonating, restful sensation that curled about those present.
As the music stopped, Aureus' voice joined Argentum's and they smiled at each other as they sang an old lullaby. The silver twin singing mostly in the F-note and the golden one in A-note. A sense of vitality and creativity swirled up to join the calming influence of Argentum's tone. Then, almost as quickly as the song had started, first Argentum's voice faded back into the silvery notes of the flute only to be followed soon after by Aureus' instrument which then faded into silence.
With a satisfied sigh, they gazed at one another, waiting for the glow that has risen around them to settle and fade as well until there was really only a sense of peaceful, meditative sleep covering the aviary like a warm blanket.
Kallisto hadn't expected such a thing and looked on with awe as the aura rose around them and then faded, the music they'd made singing across her senses to leave her feeling centered and aware. It was a strange sensation but not alltogether unpleasant, reminding her vividly of Nehna's concert some time ago. She had no doubt that these two would be able to call such emotions as the Music professor had. It made a little more sense, though, and for that she was grateful.
Glancing over at Yambati, she wondered what he was thinking.

Yambati had been lulled by the song, his so-restless spirit soothed. It still didn't make intellectual sense, but he understood what a song could do. He understood it deep in his soul, and he respected it, deeply.
When the song stopped, he shifted, stretched a little, coming back to himself. The sense of peace still lingered, however, like after a seed-splitting. He smiled slightly over at Kallisto.

After several moments of silence, Aureus and Argentum sat back and sort of settled against one another, "And, that my friends, is Music in a nutshell. It's a very personal pursuit but an incredibly gratifying one as well." They both looked very settled, calmed... peaceful.
Kallisto blinked as they spoke in unison for such a length of time but merely smiled and shifted closer to Yambati, setting her hand on his. He looked like the twins did and it made her relaxed. He'd been so wound up recently that it made her worry. Perhaps discovering the power of music, even if he wasn't going to pursue bardic magic himself, would help calm and soothe him.
