(( Yes, finally, all my drama has been cleared up =) after yesterday I'm so happy. I'm falling hard for this wonderful guy who has gorgeous eyes and a wonderful smile who is a really good guy and crazy yet sweet at the same time. Seriously, Nick is the hottest guy I've met, and he's crazy about me too, we had several moments between eachother yesterday when I got a tattoo, he was holding my hand the entire time and admitted that he really liked me. Things are still complicated because I'm the "good girl" and he is this crazy bull-riding bad boy and he keeps saying that I don't want to be with him because he'll get me in trouble, but i honestly don't care, he's so fun!
-ahem- anyways, here is finally my reply... ))
It took Mr. Roberts a minute for his reply as he gave Seto a stern yet simply look, then looked away to clear his throat and take a sip of water calmly before crossing his hands on the table in front of him and leaned forward in his sleep. He has had more than enough experience in situations like this, and he found it easier just to stay calm but firm, to never loose his posture. Let them know your answer is final, they cannot manipulate you in any way and that you wont allow it either. This case was different though, he had slipped, offered Seto a way around his answer, how to get Seto to allow him to agree to his deal. But telling Seto that he would only accept his offer if he was more generous, this had given Seto the wrong idea that all he needed to do was throw around a million dollars at someone and he would give in to Mr. Kaiba's deal. To him, generosity is a lot more than just giving away money, oh a lot more. Now, he just needed to clean up his mess, then leave, hopefully forever.
"Mr. Kaiba, anyone can give away money and call themselves generous." Mr. Roberts pointed out in a calm matter, even adding in a smirk and a nod at the end as if the idea that Kaiba just suggested was ridiculous. "I think that if you were really, truly kind, you'll find a way. But I doubt that would happen Mr. Kaiba. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way."
Not helping but smirk proudly as Samantha turned and walked away, Atem stared victoriously at her back, hands casually in his pockets as he watched the two Kaiba's walk away before walking away himself. He didn't know what came over whenever she was near, but he always felt the need to be dominate, to show her up, that he can be a better person then what she thinks of him. Of course, he never knew how insulting her fit in to that plan of his, his idea, but it would always make sense to him at the time. Like he was that little kid who would dip little girls hair in ink just to make them notice him. It would always make sense to him as he was doing it, it fit perfectly in his mind like a jigsaw puzzle. It was only afterwards that he walked away did he really regret anything, he still had that lingering taste of victory, but he felt like he just did something wrong.
Reaching his room, Atem let the door swing close as he walked straight for the coffee table, plopping down on the couch and placing his deck on the table in front of him. Letting his eyes linger over it for a second, Atem reached out after a second and spread his cards out on the table with one swift motion so he could see everything in his deck. Now was the hard part, to switch his deck around to make it better, more undefeatable than it was before. To add in so many twist and turns that Samantha wouldn't know what hit her when the time came. Getting up, Atem strolled over to his luggage and pulled out a golden box, Egyptian holographic on the side depicting how old the box was. Inside held the rest of their cards, this was what was needed to improve his deck, the fate of tomorrows was inside this box somewhere, and he needed to make the journey to find it and master it.

"Not so fast. I'm not letting you leave here until we have a deal. So just name it, what do you want? I'm powerfull enough to get you anything you wanted. So just name it and sign the contract." Seto said stubbornly. He wasnt going to let this end without it being in his favor. He would do whatever it took to bring Kaiba corp closer to perfection and get more powerfull. "I have an endless amount of followers that will make sure your life turns to hell unless you comprimise with me Roberts..." He hissed threateningly.
Sam stomped to her room. Mokuba thought it would be best to leave her alone rather then cheer her up. She couldnt be cheered up when she knew Yugi was in the same building and that she had to duel him. She pulled her deck out and sat down on a couch, laying out her cards. "Without his god cards his deck is nothing so I just have to make sure they are defeated somehow..." She said. Even though she was now Yugi's rival instead of her brother he was smarter then her, she was just a more skilled duelist. He could probably figure out the weakness in Yugi's deck but she just couldnt seem to defeat his god cards. She growled. She thought Yugi was smug and just got lucky with his dueling. He didnt deserve the title king of games. She was sure it would belong to her soon enough. But something about dueling him made her feel alive and excited. She couldnt help it, she loved dueling him.

After Kaiba's supposed threat, Mr. Roberts still stared up at him with that ridiculous smile on his face as if Kaiba had not said a word. After a few seconds, Mr. Roberts looked away with a small disapproving shake of the head and closed his briefcase shut with two loud clicks. Without a word or a glance, Mr. Roberts stood up carefully from his seat, and sighed to himself. How was he going to make himself anymore clearer to this man? Now he was threatening him, and while Mr. Roberts didn't doubt that Kaiba can hurt him, he doesn't think Kaiba actually will. Finally looking up at Kaiba with the same smile on his face, however with more determined eyes, Mr. Roberts stared completely back at Kaiba and... shrugged. "Kaiba, do whatever you want. Make threats, carryout those threats, you are still not going to get my company. You think I'm scared? Every time you prove my point, this is the exact reason I will not partner with you. Because of this nonsense, who taught you how business was run?" The smile finally faded from Mr. Roberts face as he sighed once more, looking away and walking towards the door without another glance. "You could be so much better..." With that, Mr. Roberts stepped out the door and walked away.
(( Ah, I'm looking at how I was playing Atem, and I don't know what I was doing xP he is so out of character. But I'll change that now....)
After half an hour of looking through his entire collection of cards, all Atem came up with... was a large pile of cards, spewed throughout the table in a disorderly mess. What was wrong with him? he was loosing his touch, why? He use to be able to concentrate so hard, especially if that concentration involved cards, his favorite. But now, he couldn't come up with anything, not a single combo, not a trap, not even a deck. What was wrong? Atem's large, unnerving eyes scanned the table restlessly, trying to figure out some way to get himself together and find the answer. It was here, somewhere, he just needed to find it! But how?
Feeling his panicky mind catch up with his body, Atem gasped for breath as he instantly sat back in his seat, closing his eyes as if he would fate. He suddenly felt out of breath, weak, but why? His mind strayed, to Sam... yanking himself out of his own mind, Atem jumped up and shook his head. Bad idea, he now felt dizzy as he reached for his head. Water, would water help? No, shower, a shower would do it. Turning around, Atem sped towards his bathroom, turned the shower on luke warm and jumped inside without a second thought, clothes still on.
The water dripping down his head and over his body had an instant effect on him. A relieving effect, thank God. Sighing in relief, Atem bent his head low as his arms reached out to the side of the shower to hold him up. This felt better, but what just happened. He felt like he was drowning before, was it because he couldn't come up with a deck? No, he knew why, he just didn't want to think about it again. He couldn't come up with a new deck because he couldn't concentrate, and he couldn't concentrate because of... no! Why did he keep thinking about these things?

Seto clenctched his teeth and fists. "I could be better? I'm already far superior to you and your pathetic company." He said as he followed after him, glaring. "I said I wasnt letting you leave until we made a deal. And I mean it. Do you think I made my company this successful by just forgetting things and saying oh well? So, make me an offer. I could use a challenge..." He said confidently with a smirk on his face.
Now it wasnt even completely about the deal. This man demeaned him, acted as if he was better then THE Seto Kaiba. Seto's ego wouldnt stand for that. He dedicated his life to his company and he would make sure it was perfect, and for that he needed to partner with Evolution corporation.
Sam rolled over on the couch, groaning in irritation. She couldnt come up with a strategy to defeat his god cards. She just needed luck on her side then. She came so close last time too. She smiled remembering their duel. It was amazing and she felt so alive, his focous completely on her, her moves and strategies impressing even herself. And yet he wasnt impressed or so she thought cause she didnt beat him. Durring the duel she felt great. And then afterwords she felt like a complete loser. And she hated Yugi even more. She felt like she had to beat him to prove herself to herself, her brother, and Yugi.
She fell asleep on the couch and was awoken by knocking at her door. She got up and rubbed her eyes. When she opened the door she found Mokuba. He smiled up at her.
"Hey Sis, ready to go to dinner? Their havign a big banquet in the main hall since tomorrow is the final duel. I'm so excited! I'm sure you'll win!" He said happily.
Sam gave a small smile at her brother. He was always so positive. Her eyes widened though when she finally realized what he said. "Hold on, I'll be ready ina sec..." She shut the door and walked back into her room, changing into some tan cargo pants and a black long sleeved shirt that showed a bit of her stomach. She let her hair down and walked back out. "ok ready." She said and returned to having a cold attitude.

Hearing Seto trail after him, Mr. Roberts stopped in his tracks and mentally sighed to himself. It should have known it'll be harder to get rid of this guy, simply just getting up and walking out wouldn't do. "So, it's a challenge you want?" Mr. Roberts replied, he no longer seemed like the cheerful business man he was, but rather a man that was up to his limit. This Kaiba was very determined to get his business, he didn't know what else to do.
Turning his head a little towards Kaiba, Mr. Roberts stared at him in a moment, then shrugged to himself. Like as if a challenge wouldn't hurt. "OKay fine, you have a month, no, two weeks to prove to me that you are generous. That you do have a heart," Mr. Roberts challenged him. "And you can't just simply donate a million or so dollars to some needy donation, it has to come from your heart, it has to be meaningful, something that no one else could do."
A while later, Atem had decided his unusual shower was over and had begun to change in to some dryer and cleaner clothes, as his was soaked, and now had a trail hanging off of his shoulders. One hand reached up to his hair with the towel and scuffled it around to dry it more quicker. Atem was worried about his hair, it always dried the same way, right in to place. Reached the living part of his room, Atem stopped suddenly and stared at the pile of cards that were scattered across the table. For some reason, he didn't feel like touching it, he didn't even want to organize it. Sighing, Atem turned away from the mess and walked over to his dining table, sitting down. That was when Atem saw the little blue card, folded in half and propped up in the middle of his table next to a vase of plastic flowers. Curious, Atem reached for the card and looked at what was inside.
"A banquet, tonight? To celebrate the last duel in the tournament..." Atem read to himself, slowly lowering the card back on the table and thinking to himself. The first thing that popped in his mind was that Sam was going to be there. Immediantely he thought that maybe he shouldn't go, ignoring the side of him that really did want to go just to see her though he didn't know why. But then again, as the duelist in the last duel, he should make an appearance...
Standing up, Atem rushed over to his closet to pick out some nicer clothes, he needed to get ready.

"Two weeks? To prove I have a heart? That will be easy..." He said confidently with a smirk on his face. Seto Kaiba didnt have a heart but he could certainly pretend he did, and do it well. He looked a little fustrated as he said it had to come from the heart and be meaningful and all that. All Seto could think of was throw his money around. "Whatever, I can do it. I'll have that contract ready for you to sign in two weeks." He said and turned, going back into the room to grab his briefcase. After that he walked passed him, ordering rolland to see their guest out. Seto went to an elevator and up to his office. In the elevator he flipped open his phone. "I need all information on Mr. Roberts on my desk tonight." He said, hearing a 'yes Mr. Kaiba.' He shut his phone and stepped into his office. He looked out the window and down at the busy city, knowing it was just a matter of time before he became even more powerful.
Sam entered the room, full of all the duelists and other guests. She smirked as everyone applauded, well besides some of the duelists that were still sour about her beating them. Mokuba and her were seated at a special table in the center of the room. She ran a hand through her hair. "Well this isnt so bad..." She said to her little brother. She wasnt a huge fan of celebrations. She looked around, searching for a certain duelist. She didnt see him yet and part of her felt happy about that and the other was dissapointed.

(( I'm sorry, this is going to be short. I worked so hard today, we had to move 100+ furniture pieces IE. fridges, lockers, bed, and desk up three flights of stairs. I'm so sore right now I don't even want to type, let alone stand up and take a shower. =( ))
Back at the Robert's residence, the huge, white victorian house was only occupied by two people; Mr. Robert's daughter, Andreana, and her music teacher, Mr. Edgeroth. Sitting in front of a grand piano, Andy played a light and settle number while her teacher listen for any mistakes, which was unlikely to happen. A moment later, a door was heard opening and closing, obviously her dad was back, however, Andy did not stop playing, her father always liked to hear her play. However, he usually went in to the room to hear her play, no matter what was going on, however this time he just continued walking. Andy began to worry.
Finally getting dressed, and when he was finally pleased with the way he looked, Atem hesitantly made his way down to the banquat. Sam will definately be there, was she looking for him? No, of course she wasn't, why would she be looking for him? Maybe to taunt him, but he knew he wasn't worth anything in her eyes. Which strangely sicked him, though he just ignored him like in the past. Heaving one more sigh, Atem opened up both doors and entered the hall.

(( Just to let you know, I might be turning off my internet either today or tomorrow. It'll take a day and a half at most to fly in to Kuwait, and from there I'll be sitting there inprocessing from between 3 days to two weeks. I haven't the slightest. I was told my unit was going to be a priority and that they were going to try and get us all through as fast as they can, but you can never know until you actually over there. Once when I reach my base though, whenever that will be, they will set up internet to my trailer and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. But I just have to wait and see what happens. ))

((dont worry about me, its fine, I understand 3nodding ))
Seto recieved the files he asked for within an hour or too. All the information his company could possibly get on Keith Roberts was stitting on his desk in a neat pile. Seto began going through the files, a long and boring task. There had to be some weakness, something he had done or soemthing that meant a lot to him.
He picked up a family photo, seeign Mr. Roberts, his wife and who Seto guessed was his daughter. She was around Seto's age he guessed. As he looked at the picture a smirk spread on his face. He found his challenge. He called up a few men and ordered them to keep an eye on the house and tail Miss. Roberts and report back to Seto. He would need to coincidentaly bump into her.
Sam kept looking around as if looking for someone anxiously. Mokuba noticed and looked up at his big sister curiously as she played with a strand of her hair, obviously in deep thought.
"Sis? You ok?" He asked but noticed her head snap int eh direction of the double doors as they opened and Yugi walked through the door. Sam's eyes shown with happyness for a moment before glareing and looking full of hate towards her rival.
Mokuba hadnt noticed, he was too focoused on Yugi too. He grinned and waved. "Yugi! Over here!"
Sam snapped her head back to glare at Mokuba for wavign Yugi over. What was he thinking? Mokuba looked up at her and then pointed to the name tags on the table, she saw hers in front of her and Yugi's right next to her. She groaned.

(( Okay, awesome =). Geez, i just want to get to Iraq already in my own room, I don't want to deal with all this packing and storage and flying there to Kuwait then inprocessing and waiting to leave in Kuwait then flying to my base. i just want to get settled down already. ))
Biting her lip, Andy pondered her fathers behavior, surely it was so strange, after all he didn't have to go and listen to her play piano. It was just still a little odd that he didn't, he was the one after all to suggest her piano lessons, Andy did it for him because he loved hearing his daughter play beautiful music. Her father was usually to busy to spend time with her because of his own business, and hearing her play piano was really the only time that he paid any attention to her. Maybe he was just busy, or maybe he couldn't hear her, she was playing softly. Well whatever it was, Andy hoped nothing was wrong, Andy knew how much of a jolly man he was usually, she hated to see him sad or worried.
Now standing inside a large art museum, Andy's classes were long done for the day, and all that was left to do was to enjoy herself. Which she decided to do at her favorite place in the world, the local art museum. There was something about art that intrigued her, she still couldn't put a finger on why, as she couldn't draw or paint very well, but as far as she can remember she always enjoyed looking at it. Even though it was usually the same stuff she kept looking at in this museum. Eyes glancing carefully and slowly across each painting as she walked by, this was now Andy's second round in the museum, as she still found it captivating. walking slowly, one foot stepping carefully in front of the other, Andy kept both of her hands in back of her as she walked around.
As soon as Atem walked through those two double doors, Atem glanced around, almost anxiously, looking for Sam through the large crowd. He didn't know why he was looking for it, it was just an automatic move that he couldn't help. What he would do once he did see her though was another question, he already knew he had no control over his feelings at this point, though he hated it.
Hearing a familiar voice call out his name, Atem's head whipped towards the direction of the voice, seeing Mokuba waving at him to come over. And Sam, standing next to him. She didn't look happy to see him, that was for sure. Hiding his disappointment in her actions towards him, Atem pretending and acted like nothing was wrong as he stiffened himself up as he walked over to them.
"Kaiba..." Atem said stiffly, hiding all emotion from his voice as he hoovered his gaze on her for a split second before looking down at the cheerful kid next to her. "Mokuba," He said with a bit more compassion in his voice with a small smile at seeing the kid so happy. Walking behind them, Atem took his next, grudgingly, next to Sam without another word towards her.

((Yeah, that sounds like a pain))
Seto 'just happened' to be in the same art museum. Ok so hes never been to an art museum in his life but no one else new that. He spotted her. He was glad she was at least good looking or this would have been much harder to pull off. As she walked, looking at the paintings, Seto waited down the hall, pretending to look interested in a painting. When she got close he stuck out his foot and tripped her. As she fell he simply turned and caught her, just as planned. He smirked and tried to pull it off as a kind smile as he held her like that. "Hello there... I'm sorry about that..." He said, letting go of her now that she was standing upright. He looked her over. "Hm, whats a pretty girl like you doing in an art museum? You couldnt possibly have such good looks and be intelectual too..." He siad flirtily. He never really flirted so he couldnt tell if he was good at it but he was Seto Kaiba so of course he had to be good at it. He extended his hand. "My name is Seto." he said. He doubted she wouldnt know who he was.
"Motou..." Sam spat back as he said her name. She crossed her arms. Why did they have to be seated together? Everyone knew they were rivals and enemies. But Sam didnt complain outloud, and she wasnt really sure if she would want to sit away from him if she had the opportunity. They all sat in silence for a bit. Sam could tell it was driving Mokuba crazy. And it was killing her too. She glanced at Yugi now and then, yelling at him in her mind to look her way. She took the chance to look him over, wanting to say something, anything to get him to talk back to her. "Well at least you look presentable, rather then your normal strange clothes." She said, just feeling the need to insult him in any way even though she had nothing against the clothes he wore.

(( Okay, today is the last day,my internet is being turned off this afternoon. =( ))
Minding her own business, Andy was just about to go look at the next painting when suddenly she tripped on something, feeling herself start to tumble to the ground. Letting out a small scream, Andy waited for the impact, only, there was none, she felt two hands holding her up. Someone had caught her. Confused, Andy looked up at her rescuer, a tall handsome man with a sharp face and brown hair. Though, he made Andy feel a bit nervous, as not only was he smiling down at her as if he just caught his own dinner, but he wasn't letting her go. "Umm..." Andy trailed off as she carefully stood up, taking a step back from this man whom she did not know. Dusting out her skirt, Andy was about ready to thank him for catching her, only, he had spoken first. Not a good idea.
"Oh, so females cannot be smart as long as they are pretty?" Andy crossed her arms over her chest insulted as she glared down at Kaiba's extended hand before looking up at him, not taking it. "What sense does that make? Someone's appearance has nothing to do with how they look."
Silence fell all between them, as what was there to say? It was obvious fact that Sam had a distaste for him and anything he said would either be ignored or insulted by from her. It felt uncomfortable sitting next to her, he's never been this close to her before like this. A part of him wanted to look over at her, but he kept his mind focused and straight forward, almost robotic. This was driving him crazy, but why? well, he certainly knew the answer, but he didn't want to admit it to himself, as once he did he knew he would only get hurt in the end. Sam and him are to remain enemies, never would she ever have feelings for him, as that was clearly obvious. He just had to buck up and swallow him, this would certainly pass over time. He probably only feels this way because this is the most time they've ever spent together. Yes, they've been in tournaments before, but not one that lasted this one, and not one in which they had to stay in the same hotel.
Hearing Sam's rather odd compliment to him, Atem couldn't help but look over, though he mustered all his strength to still look stiff and expressionless at her. Pausing, Atem tried to figure out what to to say or do in this situation. Instead, he just nodded and looked back away. "I know I do," he decided returning a compliment would not be best, as it was probably just going to turn in to an insult from her.
