Awesome...If I ever met him, we could talk for hours! I think I have read everything ever written by him and a couple of his wife's books, too.
The man has an imagination that is phenomenal, I can SEE what he writes!

I started having an interest at age 10.
My first Stephen King book was... Eyes of the Dragon (GREAT book, by the way!)
I am currently reading "Secret Window: Secret Garden", and I am axious to start Carrie! My mom got me started on Stephen King (thank you Mom!!) and she has LOTS of his books. They are all set up in my room like a library, and whenever I finish one book, I just go to my stash and get a new one!
I also want to read IT, Pet Cemetery, and Dolores Claiborne.

I started reading Stephe King books around when I was 12. My first book by him was The Stand, which is still my favorite. And sadly I have not met him.

-At what age did you start having an interest in Stephen King? Shortly after the sixth grade. So about 12. -What was your first Stephen King book? Eyes of the Dragon -Have you ever met him? I wish. However, after reading some of his about the author entries, speaking against visiting him, I assume it would just be safer to read his books and join his fan clubs. xD Although to be shot for tresspassing by Stephen King himself would be an honor. I've read all seven Dark Tower books, and I'm constantly looking through his other books for bits and pieces that relate to it in some form or fashion, like the Talisman and Black House.

-I struck an interest with King's novels when I was in the fourth grade. I was eight, in other words. At first, his books were merely for Reading Points, but I was hooked after I finished the first novel my father handed me. -The first novel I ever read by Stephen King was IT, which I read seven years ago. -I'd love to meet him, if ever given the chance.

Ok well my name is Hector and Im 17.
I first got into king when i was about 4 because i watched IT and Pet Semetary along with CHildren of the Corn and his many others movies all the time at my house. I didnt start reading King's work till i was about 6 or 7 and what I first read was IT. I like the look of surprise on my 3rd grade teachers face when I brought in such a thick novel (not really but how many 7 year olds run around with a 700+ book)
