Never stand your Clarinet upright.
Always lay it down, where no one can harm it.
It will fall..
and break.. :[
The only note you'll be able to play is C.
It's happened to me 2 times.

If your alto is old and built backwards ( mine is, the low keys are on the inside of the instrument , you're still supposed to lay it down to match the rest of them. So now when your keys get bent you can blame it on the senior who told you that your horn had to match.

I thought of another. Never make someone mad, then leave your instrument in a locker unlocked. It WILL get stolen as a practical joke then after you've been freaking out and filed a police report, it will be snuck back into your locker as if nothing happened. (That happened to my step-sister's oboe)

Dancesvithmonkeys Never try to hide the pieces of someone else's instrument. They will get lost! Never poke the marching instructor with your clarinet/flute/trombone while at attention. Thank you!! People always take my flute and take it apart to hide it. IT JUST GOT STOLEN!!!! But the poking sounds funny..lol^^

Never try to balance your clarinet on your palm, therefore, it shall smack you in our face as it comes down. Never lean on your clarinet. Therefore, it shall somehow slip and stab your nose.. Never drop your clarinet mouthpeice first, therefore, it shall chip lol! Never leave a random drum sitting in an open area. Therefore, a retarded clarinetist shall run towards that area not noticing a drum...and trip and smash their shin.. ^-^

never put ur instrument where someone WILL sit on it..it bends!!..OOOOOO
never try to prove to ur friend that ur flute headjoint won't come off by flinging it at the band field because it will fly than ur friend will steal it and not give it back till marching practice is over
Never lazily kick your instrument case across the floor with the instrument in it...the instrument WILL be harmed in SOME way.

Never let your trombone slide come in contact with a gaurd flag...your slide will bend...and it is quite possable that you will chip your tooth.
Never get distracted while marching in a single file line. You might not hear the head person yell stop...and so your marching baritone will smack into their head...and it will dent the bell. <3

My section leader always slams it back on after inspection and it's SO hard to get out XD If you stick your horn bell down, it will bend and look very ugly. splintrs in your mouth hurt Don't bump into somthing bell first while playing a baritone, it hurts
