So.
She was given a bloom. Okay, fine, lovely, perfectly normal ! A cute little flower, nothing wrong there.
But she never heard ANYTHING about an acorn. Not that she disliked it, hell, that little thing was... well... cute. But she had never heard of feiens that weren't... Well... FLOWERS. Appart Indra, of course, but an artichoke is some kind of flower, right ? Zero was a computer genius, not a botanical genius.
At any rate, there was the flo- acorn. Right. Acorn. Now she had to NOT KILL the poor thing. This was currently what she pondered over, sitting in front of the computer desk, acorn setteled into her hand and laptop idely beeping. She had read the billboards over and over and over... time to remember all that god damn info.
Because, even when your memory IS a computer, its easy to get scatter brained. Expecially when your name is Zero.
No way this could be mixed up for a real acorn, trough. Unless, of course, real acorns became bright yellow and blue overnight. She had taught her horde of pets not to eat anything that looked different, so the acorn was relatively safe. Bright colors, maybe the fairy inside was an heat-oriented or light ? No, wait, the color doesn't matter with the element, she remembered. The feien inside could be ANYTHING...
She turned around in the computer chair, remembering how she had heard other getting to know what the bloom liked or not trough small experiments. She didn't really like the idea that she could potentially harm the little feien. She could just let it be, but why do that when you can find what it likes best ? If she proceeded slow enough, she wouldn't really hurt it... right ?
She turned to face the laptop again, opening up a spreadsheet program. She'lld start with basic elemental tests first - heat, water, earth, and air. This seemed to be best to start with, as there seemed to be more feiens of that element than others, so she had more chances to find something.
Clearing out the table beside the computer, she put the acorn in the middle. At an equal distance on each four sides, she put some soil, a dish with water, a low, burning candle, then, finally, opened the window on the opposite side, just enough to let the winter breeze peek in.
She looked at the whole, smilling a little before turning to leave, then, stopped a little.
"...You keep care, okay, Ryuusei ? Ill be gone for a few hours, long enough to decide what you like best, okay ? Be sure to let me know somehow."
Somehow, the name had came on its own. Then, with that small smile on her face, she left her appartment.

The door opened and closed again with barely even a sound, as Zero put down her bag of groceries, shook the snow off herself and hooked up her jacket where it could dry. Snow, snow snow, and, you guessed it, EVEN MORE SNOW. The roads where freaking MADNESS, and a part of herself wanted to kick her own sorry a** for not having a car or some decent motorised mean of transport. One look down at her soaked pants was enough to strenghten that statement.
The cyborg was distracted from that statement by a distinct splashing sound, a ratter wet reju tugging at her equally wet pants.
"Uh, Shao ?" She smilled, scooping the little purple tibo in her arms. To hell with the fact he was still slippery and wet, she was allready soaked anyway.
"What did you buy this time ?" He asked, trying to peek into the bag.
"Hmmm, what did I buy~" She hummed. "I brought alot of things, can you be a little more specific ?"
"Mama !"
Zero giggled, patting his purple head.
"I brought cake... Oh look, there's an apple... A pineapple ! Oh, figs ? Who got that in there ?" She poked his nose and watched his face widen with a smile as she handed him the bag. Of course, Shao was the only one who liked figs in this household, so there was no question to weither they where all his's or not.
"Thank you !" He beamed, wriggeling out of Zero's hold and dashing again to the bathroom, or, more precisely, the bathtub. How hard it was to take a bath is that appartment was a given.
There seemed to be more food for the pets and other resident that for herself, even some blood for Yoku. Zero never ate much, and she was not really the pickiest eater on the planet, considering mostly of pizza, pasta, cakes, nuts, and pineapples. But to her robotic body, energy was energy, so there wasn't really much difference.
...And it was then that she realised the god awful mess of water puddles Shao had left from his way in and back. Frazzle.... =_=;;;;
Yoku was in the next room, reading : she saw him from there. The appartment was relatively small. She smilled at the sight, but didn't bother his reading.
It was then that her amazing blue and yellow acorn clicked back into her mind. She finished to put away the groceries before hightailing it to her room.
"Im back, little star." She smilled. "How did it - uh ?"
She stared awhile, blinking and pondering just HOW this had happened... The acorn have somehow - heaven BEAT HER - and nested itself as close to the window opening as it physically could, the other 3 elements didn't even seem to have been touched.
"...Well, well, you sure did make yourself clear, sweetie..." She said, blowing out the candle. "So you like air, well, at least you like air best from those... We'lld go with that, then ?"
...Of course she didn't get an answer. Why was she talking to an acorn ? It felt right. Maybe the tiny feien heard her from inside... She put away the candle and dish, and returned the soil to the poor, helpless potted plant that she had stolen it from, opening the window a little wider to let more air trough. She would have opened it wide, but while she didn't really feel temperature on her skin unless it was extreme, the other residents that littered her room wouldn't be so comprensive to the slightly cold air.
...Oh, god, what if the coldness of the air itself was harmful ? That one tought now crossed her mind... But she came up with an idea.
"Oh, I have just something for you, Ryuu..." She smiled, and opened her clothhanger. Now, Zero is what you could call a hoarder. The amount of s**t that littered the thing was pretty amazing, yet she seemed to know exactly where was what as she fished out a miniature electric fan. Shuyin had became best friends with the thing when the deep heats of july setteled in, but had since pretty much abandonned it... And now it could be given another cause !
She glued it to the side of the table with a piece of tape, flipping it on at the lowest level, creating a small air movement, and she setteled the acorn in its path, on a piece of cloth. Somehow, she tought ill't be better that way.
"How's that, sweetheart ?"
The acorn seemed as content as an acorn could be.

Quote: Nerpin looked up at the house he stood before with a small note infront of his face, raised high with his left hand. Glaring at it through glasses perched on his nose, he addressed his right shoulder casually. "This seems like the right house, it seems." Perched on his shoulder, Arith looked up, smiling softly to her comrade as she read the directions on the note they had gotten from Zero a few days prior, asking them to stop by as she had something to show them (Finally!!!) and needed Arith's assistance in the matter. "Seems so, why don't we try knocking and hope for the best." she stated, as she flew over and went to knock on the door. A large hand came up next to her, and knocked three times, the tall canine man looking up at the building once more as he waited for a positive answer. Those knocks where answered by an hushed "OHSHIT", well, until a pale, long haired boy answered the door, glancing back. "Nerpin, I presume ?" He smilled. "...Zero's there, she's just changing her pants." "HE DIDN'T NEED TO KNOW THAT !!!" "You can come in," He smilled, then glanced at Arith. "Ah, hello to you, too ! Sorry, I did not see you." A small chuckle escaped the mouth of the canine man, even if it came out more of a amused growl as he nodded to the paler boy infront of him "That's my name, sir - and thank you for the welcome, it's rather amusing" he stated with a toothy grin. Arith chuckled softly and nodded to the young man happily, chirping a "That's allright, It's not a first" to Yoku as she floated in, Nerpin following her in tow, closing the door behind him habitually before taking a look through the entrance way of the house "Seems comfortable" he muttered lightly as he waited for Zero to make her grand entrance with whatever she had to show the duo. "Ah, its common ground around here." He smilled a little. "Well, Yoku, if YOU went out, YOU wouldn't be the one who'lld need a change of pants because THOSE ******** CAN'T DRIVE." Indeed, thus Zero made her grand entrance. "Nice timing, dogboi." She waved, and Yoku retreated back to the living, or, more precisely, to his books. Nerpin chuckled once again, a louder amused growl escaping this time as he caught sight of Zero. With a few brushes of his long tail, he shook his head a bit and shrugged "I'll have to concur, Canadians are horrible drivers in this weather." he muttered softly before looking to her. Arith, always the curious, floated over to Zero cheerily - it seemed that she, unlike the canine man, loved the winter, and was in a good mood due to the interesting change of weather and scenery. Nerpin blamed it on her being a summerborn, and this being her first winter, but she kept face. Tilting her head, she looked at the woman infront of her, smiling as she stated "Soo, Miss Zero has something she'd like us to see.. finally?" "Oh, right, I do ! Just one second... Mind the floor, Shao's been walking around, its slippery as all hell. Mind the bathtub too, he's probabely back in there." All given as if having a reju taking over your bathtub was perfectly normal. She motionned them to follow her, taking off torward the farest room. Arith floated forward, tilting her head slightly at the meantion of Shao briefly - she herself never actually seeing a reju beforehand. Shrugging it off, she looked behind her to see Nerpin followin the shorter women, ears pinned forward in curiousity as they were led deeper into the house. She entered the room, closing the clothhanger door with a kick before her two guests could make it, and motionned to her desk. "...It's not exactly a bloom, but..." Taking the small yellow and blue acorn from the cloth she had rested it onto, she turned and held it out, making sure it was safely nested in her hand. "...But this would be Ryuusei." Arith perked instantly at the sight of it, zipping over to see the new bundle that Zero had decided to grace them with, a giant smile on her face as she landed on Zero's shoulder, looking down at the acorn "Oh! Another Feien! Congradulations Zero - it's.. an acorn." she stated, tilting her head "How bizarre, that's new." The snow colored feien leaned closer to the acorn as she looked it over happily - always curious to meet a new feien, even if it's still in it's 'bloom'. Picking it up, she smiled and hugged it lightly "Seems to be in good shape still." She stated as she coyly asked to hold on a bit longer. Chuckling softly, Nerpin looked at the acorn Arith was holding onto, walking over to Zero "Congradulations on your bundle, it's an acorn! I'm glad to see you finally were given a feien Zero." he stated, tail wagging lightly in content. "Yup, an acorn. I must have made one hell of a face when I saw it." She smirked. "I expected some kinda flower, figures ill get something different..." Pout. "Of course its still in good shape ! I might suck at taking care of plants, but im not gonna wreck the poor thing in half a day you know..." She said in a teasing tone, letting out that she wasn't really insulted. "Well I HOPE so, anyway..." Arith looked up and chuckled, holding the acorn close to her protectively, but loose enough to give it space "Well.. it's easy to keep a feien flower safe." she said, smiling with happy look all around her. "But it's also easy to mess up on your bloom dear," she heard curtly behind her. Turning a bit to face the dogboi, she shrugged lightly. Nerpin looked to Zero and smirked a bit "I've heard stories. I'm guessing you asked us to come and maybe give some pointers?" He stated, a small smile playing on his features. "Well, yeah." She said, not really worrying for the acorn as she knew Arith wouldn't hurt it. "...Seems that out little acorn here likes air. A whole lot. The little bugger somehow rolled off on its on from my table to the window when I had it open." She shrugged. "...I had put the 4 basic elements down on the table and it went torward the air like a magnet." Nerpin nodded softly, grinning softly as he leaned against a wall, looking to his own feien "Arith liked the sun. And plants - at first I though she'd be some kind of earth feien or whatever, but it seemed she was life based." he admitted, peering at the giddy-drunk feien near Zero - clutching Ryuu carefully. Chuckling once at the sight, he shook his head and looked to Zero again "It's easy to keep a bloom out of trouble, maybe keep it in a place that's not high up, but near an open window." he suggested, hoping the acorn wouldn't fall due to it's natural attraction "Well, actually, I closed the window. The air's too cold right now, I tought that might hurt it." She took a step beside, showing her tiny-hand-fan-glued-to-side-of-desk-idea. "...I remembered I had that thing, so I tought that would do." Nerpin ducked a bit and tilted his head, hair going in his eyes as he looked under the desk briefly, giving a curt nod "That's a wise decision also it seems - I just hope it doesn't run out of power" he stated, with a chuckle as he set himself upright again, looking at Arith "She looks like she's having fun - if ya ever need a partner for Ryuu, I don't think Arith would have a problem with staying over and helping." he noted loosely, rolling his eyes at the chipper girl with her new playmate - even if it were still an acorn. "Ah, well." She winked, poking her arm. "If the power runs out, I have an huge battery laying around..." She glanced at Arith, and giggeled. "...Seems like it. She's a life feien, isn't she ? There it would make sence she'lld be that way with what is kinda a newborn." The acorn, who had remained still until now, wriggeled a little, as if to say "im here, too !" Rolling his eyes, he shook his head. "Right right, forgot about that." he recovered, shaking his hand in the air infront of him and then crossing his arms leisurely.Smiling proudly, he nodded to his friend as he looked over to her once more "Yeah, that's kinda right when you think about it - new life is probably the best kind anyways for her. Natural magnet." he stated, pointing at the little feien. Arith perked lightly at the wiggling and giggled softly as she pet the shell of the acorn "This one seems to want attention, Ryuu should be interesting to meet I think" she stated, comforting it lightly. Looking to Zero, she smiled happily "I'm happy to see you got one Miss Zero, I hope you won't mind if I befriend it." she stated. She was always too kind. "Of course I won't." She smilled. "You're a sweet little girl, Arith." Arith went three shades of red when she had heard the complement and shrunk behind Ryuu slightly. "Thank you Zero, your very kind" she stated behind the new feien bloom, smiling coyly as she watched the woman. "Kind ? You never saw me annoyed." Wink. "Hope you never see that too." Arith gave a heartened chuckle and looked over to Nerpin "He's probably a lot more off than you are Miss Zero. When Nerpin's mad, he's interesting." Overhearing this statement, Nerpin looked away and give a silenced keh, only making the statement more true with a slight tint on his features. "Ah, well. Eh. Doesn't matter, doesn't it ?" Upon seeing her friend unconfortable, Zero used the years old technique of subject-change, her eye setteling on her acorn. "...I really hope I won't mess up." Nerpin looked up and shook his head softly, grinning at the smaller woman infront of him "Don't worry Zero, I doubt you will, less you like.. threw it into the snow purposefully." he stated, bluntly, but with a wry smile on, giving a small growlchuckle in amusement. "I have faith in ya, and I"m here.. and so is she" he nodded to Arith, who chirped a "youbet!" from the background. "...Thanks, you two." She smilled. "...Means more to me than you probabely think." Nerpin opened his mouth to reassure her once more, but instead, a short yawn escaped in replacement. Shaking his head a bit, he chuckled softly, rubbing it. "More tired than I let on it seems.. probably best to call it a night for now Zero." he stated, looking to Arith. The poor feien gave a pout, but nodded lightly, letting out a "I suppose so.." "Hai, Hai... I think you'lld be able to find your ways back, ne ?" She teased, giving the dogboi a hug. "Stay safe, both of you." Arith set the acorn it's safe spot and floated over to Nerpin's shoulder, nodding softly "He's got a keen nose, just follow it to the smell of burning water.. I suppose" she stated, joking about their two other roommates - water and fire respectably. Nerpin chuckled softly and rolled his eyes at the young feien and proceeded to the door, patting Zero on the head before stepping outside "Willdo. See ya around - I'm sure we'll be back to check on the newest arrival. Take care Zero" he finished and started home, waving behind him as he went.

Thus, another "normal" day was passing at the appartment.
Zero was in front of the tv, playing a game and making faces as she seemed to be losing, and trying not to scream bloody murder at whatever was doing a fine job out of kicking her sorry a**. Yoku was beside her, asleep and using his "mom"'s shoulder as a pillow, and probabely was the reason why she was not screaming bloody murder. She had never heard of a vampire sleeping, but she has seen more bizzare matters and had learnt not to ask. Shao was sitting on her knees, neverminding the game and visibely content to be there. Add a feli and a puri sleeping on top of the couch, and you had quite a sight to behold, along with the army of tiny little pixas that had taken place at the nearby table. Ryuusei was also there, along with her pocketfan, as Zero decided it was better to keep the small acorn at sight as much as possible.
Upon finally getting owned, Zero happened to sumble upon this small scene. Most of them where asleep, close to the acorn itself, and it seemed to be wriggeling in a manner that seemed nothing short of content, as the cats purred. The reju also looked, and blinked.
"Why are they all around the acorn, mama ?" He asked, going to the tip of the couch and peering like a curious child, barely daring to whisper in order not to wake the tiny cats, dogs, and mice. Even Edward was there, and he wasn't really the social type.
"...I don't know..." She blinked. "...But I don't think it minds. It did that with Arith yesterday, too... I think that means it is happy ?"
"But how can an acorn be happy ?"
"Well, I told you, Shao. There's a tiny little fairy in that acorn. Somehow."
"...That doesn't really make any sence." The reju scratched his head. "How can a fairy be in an acorn ?"
"Your guess's as good as mine, little boy. But as long as they stay that way, we should just let them sleep, shouldn't we ?"
Shao nodded, then took back his place on her knees and the afternoon continued on...

Diary Entry - Dec. 15 04 Quote: ...Well, I guess it was about time I started an actual diary... or something. Ryuusei arrived a few days ago. I didn't think she'lld be an acorn... Thanksfully enough, nothing tried to eat it yet. I've figured it liked air, so I set up a little fan to create an air flow, thinking that the winter wind might be too cold and harmful to the little feien. Kazekama and Kazeko, my two air pixapets, are helping along that... ...And holy god, I've never seen something like that. The pixas are all over it, Seriously, Edward's laying on it right now. And snarling at anything potentially harmfull that gets near it. Its wierd, expecially because its HIM doing it. I've given up trying to understand it, but at least I know that if something happens to the... Uh... Bloom... ill have about 10 tiny voices yowling at me in unison to let me know. ...That's odly conforting, I have to admit. So far so good, it seems. I mean, if there was anything harmful, the acorn would give some kind of reaction, right ? I mean, if its able to roll torward things, it should be able to roll away from things. O_o Or something... Bah, maybe im just worrying too much...

I'm a barbie girl, in the barbie world Life in plastic, it's fantastic! you can brush my hair, undress me everywhere Imagination, life is your creation...Diary Entry - Dec. 17, 04 Quote: Axl found the stereo. Again. And his idea right now ? Barbie Girl on repeat for the last hour. SOMEONE SHOOT ME !!! Im about to just knock myself offline if it ends the torture... x_x;;; At least A LESS STUPID SONG ! ... Ryuusei doesn't seem too bothered. Maybe that acorn blocks potentially harmfull noises. I refuse to believe it might, heaven be blasted, LIKE STUPID POP TOO. Because then I might just blow up my earing circuits if it manages to keep the little amound of sanity I happen to still have. Can't he at least use HEADPHONES ?!? x_X I do ! Its not that hard ! It keeps people from wanting to destroy everything in sight ! ...Change of subject. Im getting kinda sick of calling Ryuusei an it. It sounds insulting... But ill't be more insulting if I start calling it as one gender then it winds up being the other. So I don't have too many options... to hopefully he/she understands. ...Someone tell me why I ever burned this song on a cd, so I can officially damn that day to hell and beyond. ...Trough... This is slowly giving me an idea. That I will put trough execution when im in less blaring mental agony. After Zero's head had stopped to want to explode, she took her lyrix appart for what the poor sab tought would be punishment, but he was visibely wrong.
"That little run had at least the good side of giving me an idea..." The reploid started, sitting Axl on the bed. The blue skinned lyrix blinked, visibely not getting where she was heading, as she sat beside him. "I've noticed Ryuusei reacting to the music, and I tought I might do this... Put on different kind of songs and see how it reacts to them."
He peered at her with confused eyes, visibely still not getting it.
"But I can't well watch for her reaction if im busy pressing buttons, arn't I ?" She smirked. "So ill'd need someone to work the laptop for the songs... Gee, wonder how ill make this out..."
Axl blinked, then grinned right back, giving her the tumbs up.
"Okay, buster ! Let's... ...Uh ?"
It was then that Zero noticed something.
Fan ? Check.
Cloth ? Check.
Acorn ?
...
"s**t." She yelled out, darting up. "Where did it go ?!?"
As if it wasn't enough, the pixa horde was gone as well.
Did one of the pet eat it ?!? s**t, s**t...
Her eyes whidened even more when she looked at the ground. The acorn was indeed there... but broken in half, and proved to be quite hollow.
"...Oh, s**t." Zero went pale for a moment, which was quite an amazing feat in itself, when you think about it. Was that normal ?!? Where the hell was the fairy ? Was IT eaten ?
DAMNDAMNDAMNDAMN !!!!
"...I AM NOT SMALL !!!"
...Uh ?
"Aw, calm down." A female voice followed the one of the angry pixa. "I didn't say that to insult you..."
Blinkblink ?
Zero peeked torward the bookshelf... And stopped dead as she saw her.
A tiny little girl... with blue hairs, braided, with some yellow... A yellow-marked hand scitching behind the pixa's ear, and thus avoiding an incoming maiming by Edward Elric, other rectangular squares over her body, and orange eyes. The other pixas where laying around, asleep or awake.
That's when Zero's jaw hit the ground.
The feien blinked, then peeked up at the human staring at her.
"Oh, hello." She smilled.
"...Ryuu ?"
She grinned, getting up and making a quick bow.
"The one and only !" She smilled. "You are Zero, I presume ?"
"Uh, well, yes..."
"Glad to meet you !"
Ryuusei let down the pixa before fluttering up in the air, and sitting on her shoulder.
"Care to show me around a little ?"
Zero blinked, then, slowly, smilled.
"Of course !"
And thus, she went to do just that.

After showing Ryuusei around the appartment, Zero had gone out for shopping (without her, much to her chagrin) and once she came back, she found a note and two boxes into the small tray she had put up so other appartment-goers wouldn't snatch her stuff ( stare ) Neko Girl I know it isn't much, but I was thinking about you, so I thought I'd get you a gift for a holidays. 3nodding In case I don't get a chance to speak with you again before the holidays, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year's, and just a happy rest-of-the-year anyway. heart *not good with words, don't mind her* Also, I heard you had a feien. 3nodding So, a gift from myself and my own feien, and I hope s/he likes it. 3nodding Welcome to the community! Smilling a bit, Zero snatched the whole and came back inside, finding Ryuusei busy with petting the pixas as she dropped the tiny box on her lap, the feien looking up at her with orange eyes. "Uh ? What's that ?""A friend of mine dropped that off for you." She smilled. "As a christmas gift." "Christmas ?""Its an holiday where you give presents to other people, and you open then on the 24 or 25th, depending." Ryuusei blinked, shaking the box in it. "What's in it ?""A pixa." Ryuusei's eyes lightned up like tiny neons. "A pixa ? For me ? Just for me ?""Yup !" "...Wow !!!!" The girl smilled. "That's so nice, I need to find her and thanks her !" She looked down at the box trough. "...It is okay in that tiny little box trough ? How does it breath ?""Well, its most likely a picture inside the box. And we'lld have to go pick up the pixa later on." "Oh, yeah..." She scatched her head. "Makes sence... But I need to thanks her !""Later on, little star." Zero chuckeled. "As christmas is drawing near, people are pretty busy. Oh, and..." Zero brought up her other hand, and juggeled something in it before dropping yet another box in the feien's lap. Who then attempted to go and hug her face, resulting in much failing.

Ryuusei had been fairly quiet and only fluttered around the appartment, visibely trying to at least get that to become familiar before tackeling the bigger outside world. And colder, too, she had figured out, from Zero's outings.
Her bond was there trough... sitting on the couch. Well, more like laying. Axl had taken control of the stereo again, but this time was playing something that was must more enjoyable for the house's residents - Linkin Park. The feien had to admit she didn't mind it either.
But her curiosity was now focused on what her bond was currently doing : The tv was on, and she seemed to be controlling things in it with some kind of wierd remote.
And, damnit, it looked FUN.
Letting Edward down, she fluttered off her observation post to land right on the side of the couch.
"Can I try ?"
Zero gave a blink, but laid down the controller. "I... guess so..." She answered.
The feien found that the best way to handle the ps2 controller was to grap the middle of the left analog stick with her left hand and smacking whatever other other button with her right hand, while lying down.
Thus, Ryuusei met gaming.
And an instant love blossomed, as well as instant talent, as the little feien beat the one boss she had been stuck on, causing Zero's jaw to almost hit the ground.
"Can I make my own game ?" The feien seemed obivilous, smilling.
"...Just don't save over mine."
...She had just been PH0WNED by a FAIRY.
...
Sadddd...
She sent the death glare at Axl when he began chuckeling at Zero's priceless face, and then busied herself onto showing her feien how to navigate trough the menus and the like.

And it was where she was found again a few days later.
She couldn't say it was easy. You try playing a game with a controller that's bigger than yourself. However, damn it was FUN. The idea of having to buy a Gameboy Advance to finally let her tv free dawned in Zero's mind, but the feien had problem with the digital buttons of the ps2 controller, so on a GBA ?
...Tick tick tick went the gears (literally) in Zero's head... And suddently something more important dawned in her mind.
"Ryuu. You need a room."
...Pause.
"Wha ?" The little feien asked, detaching her eyes from the tv, her hand sprining to pet the pixa bataillon that had gathered there. "A room ? Why ?"
"Well, everyone needs some intimity, little star." She said. "...And I doubt the bookshelf is a confy place to sleep on."
"I sleep on the couch." She intergected. "...But it does sound like a good idea... But isn't it a little big to get ?"
"Im not talking room in a appartment sence, sweetheart." Zero sat beside then, trying not to squish the pixas in the process. "...Something like... uh... s**t..."
"Cardboard box ?" Yoku intergected from reading his book.
"Sounds kinda cheap. Would YOU like to live in a coardboard box ?"
"...Good point. A terrarium maybe ?"
Hmmmm.
"...That could work, yeah... But I don't have one."
"Go buy one, then !"
""Hey, uh, im buying a terrarium for my feien !" Ill't look wierd if I buy a terrarium if I don't buy something to go in the terrarium ! You know how the pet shop owners are stupid here. e.e"
"You could just buy something small to fit in it !" Ryuusei intergected.
...After a mental image of a feien sharing a room with an iguana...
"...I don't think that's a good idea."
"Me neither..."
"Awww..."
"...Oh well. Ill make up something. Don't wreck the house." Zero smirked, throwing on her jacket and leaving, in despice of the fact it was snowing.
And the two returned to their respective activities... Ryuusei with a small smile on her face.

And when Zero came back, juggeling many bags and a huge box, many jaws felt on the ground. "...What the hell is that, a terrarium or a codominium ?!?" Yoku gawked, staring at the HUGE box the girl let down, as well as the bags. "Amazing the s**t you can find, uh ?" Zero smirked, visibely proud as the principal interested began to poke at the box. Holy s**t it was HUGE, expecially for her. "And amazing what the super addicts make those compagnies do." "Where are we gonna fit that..." The vampire boy still stared at the box with wide eyes. "It should fit on the comp table in my room, right beside the laptop..." "And if it doesn't ?" "...Ill find something." ANIME FALL. "What's in the other bags ?" Ryuusei blinked, trying to take a peek into them. "...Well, what good is a room when there's nothing in it ?" She smilled again. "And tools to cut the glass. Im gonna try yo make a little pet door so the pixas can come in and out." It was all she needed to say to send the feien in all-aproving more. She went to take the terrarium out, but then a knock came on the door. "ONE SECOND !" Zero let out, before heading torward the door, and findinf no one once she opened it. "God damn little kids, I should- Uh ?" She blinked, croutching and taking the box and note from the ground. Nerpin The Note Read Zero,
I heard Ryuu made it out of her acorn alive and well, and hope we can come around sometime later to meet the newest addition to the family. Arith is pretty estatic about this news, and hasn't sat still in days... Heh.
We got a new addition to our little group, and I should be bringing him around next time we meet. You'll probably like him - he's starlike. Anyways.
Have a Merry Christmas, from us, to your little family.
--Dogboi. "...Oh, that dogman." Zero smirked, getting back inside, and sending Ryuusei squealing with happiness at another of the wonderful pixa boxes, the feien snatching the note as Zero went to put the box safely with the others. "Arith ?" She asked, blinking. "She's the feien Nerpin is bonded to." Zero explained, putting the box under the tiny tree that held the household's gifts. "She came to see you when you where a bloom... do you recall anything of it ?" Ryusei blinked, and seemed to concentrate. "...Not much, but... I do recall a presence that wasn't yours or Yoku's...""Then its one of them. We'll see them soon, I promise." "Okay !"And so, the two applied themselves to unpacking.

It had taken most of the afternoon, and part of the evening, but finally it was complete, with collaboration of both bonded and fairy. Ryuusei had to admit that the way Zero handeled things was amazing. Cuting glass straight on the drawn line... Whiring tiny plushies to a small wishing bamboo... All with amazing precision the feien had no idea her bond pocessed. All this work and care, just for her ? She had to admit this was heartwarming. Zero, being the little hoarder she was, had brought way too much assorsed things and let the feien pick them and their location. The tiny laptop fan was her idea, trough, but what really surprised Ryuusei was when then power wire was faulty, and her bond picked it appart and replaced it... with one of her own arm ?!? What, humans didn't have wires ! "Im not human." She said, wiring the new power wire into the small motor. "Far from it." "...You know I don't mind, right ?""Then you can stop staring at me with your eyes bigger than oranges, little star." She smirked. "Ill explain to you... later on." It was then that making a room turned into something much deeper.

So, there it was. Christmas. The ever so magical day.
...Then why did Ryuusei feel bummed out ?
A small thug at the pixa boxes gave out that they refused to open on their own. Zero had been out all night, and collapsed on her bed on her return (which was unusual given that the girl rarely slept, even less this deep. Yoku was off god-knew-where. Even Shao seemed busy with his own things.
...Christmas was supposed to be spent with family and friends, but who do you spend it with when you don't know anyone from your race, and your family are all busy with their own things ?
Sighing, she went and flipped the ps2 on, Zero having gotten the habit to leave the tv on.
She had to change her ideas... Crying about it wouldn't do anything, and she couldn't go outside alone with this cold.

The last few days where calm, with not too much highlights... Post-christmas calmness after all the insanity. But most important than all, Zero had showed the feien how to use her precious laptop, which seemed to bring most of the house's occupants into shock mode. It was an unspoken rule. Do NOT touch the laptop. You can ask, and Zero would most likely find a broken one, repair it, and give it to you. But you do NOT, under ANY circonstances, touch THE laptop. Weither or not it was christmas time miracle or simpely logic saying that a whole laptop for a little fairy might be overkill, Ryuusei was indeed hogging the laptop, and typing the best she could - walking on the keys. She was no-where near heavy enough to actually break the keyboard, so this was the best way. Quote: 12/28/04
Dear... Uh... Diary ?
I think Zero noticed I was a bid down lately, and she asked me why. I didn't... really tell her because I don't want her to think I don't like it here... I tought she would insist, but she didn't, which surprised me... She just gave me a knowing look, and told me she knew how it was like. Did she allready know... ?
At any rate, she told me that sometimes writting about how you feel is good... That as long as you get it out of your head, things get better anyway. So she made me an account on this thing, had me put a password on it, and lo. I have a little file to type whatever I want, and she said she couldn't access it. It would really surprise me if she doesn't, but... I guess I trust her not to look. She would have allready if she was intending to, she's right beside me playing Final Fantasy... 7, I think ? The one with the guy with a psycho haircut.
...Even that's board...
Anyway, I think I should maybe go outside and meet some other feien... I like it here, but it is kind of lonely when you're the only one of your kind you know. I mean, there's this Arith person, but... I was a bloom, I don't completely remember her. I think the main gripe Zero had agaisnt me going out was the weather, really... Nothing malevolent or to hurt me. It's been snowing a little and I think she's afraid that I would freeze. Im getting to know when she's worried, or thinking about something... Her eye is extremely expressive. She havn't told me why one of them is covered, but if she won't force things out of me, I should show enough respect to do the same. Maybe if I ask her, she could drop me somewhere where there are feiens when she goes out again, and pick me up before comming back home ?
I guess its worth a try...

A box and a note in the small tray, at Zero's apartment, either dropped off by the mailman or someone else. A tiny little wrapped parcel, tied around fastidiously with clingfilm in case the rain got to it; that and a note. Note Merry Christmas! Or, um, whatever seasonal holiday you celebrate. Lots of hellos to Zero Dream and her feien! This is from Rosemilk, another bond, and I heard that little Ryuusei popped out a little while ago. I'm pretty new, so I thought I'd sort of 'invite you to the neighbourhood' (oh dear, that sounds so dorky, I'm sorry). I've been doing a bit of knitting lately (not like it's hard to knit for Feien, three rows and you're pretty much over) and, since it's so cold, I thought I'd knit her one of my little scarves. (Casca - he's my feien - helped with the beading, I couldn't do anything THAT small). I hope the colours match, and I hope we see you and Ryuusei in the shop sometime! Love, Rose In the parcel:
