Chaos pondered that for a moment, "Al right, let's try it!" She turned to Pond and hesitated a moment, not really knowing why, but hesitating none-the-less. "Do you know where a small body of water is?" she finally asked.
Shaking his head sadly Pond replied, "Pond only know where Pond is, not know where other thigns are."

"That's a shame." replied Zinnia to Pond's statement. An impulse to be really evil and imply that if Pond doesn't know where other things are then he wouldn't know where the sky or ground is raced through her mind. She half considered it, but in the end she decided against doing so. "How about we go look for it?"

Chaos bounced up and down and started off in a random direction, "Al right!"
Pond looked up at the two doubtfully and glumly followed Chaos, getting the feeling that they were making fun of him or something he wasn't getting.

(Aww...poor Pond... sad )
Zinnia went off in another direction, wondering if she'll come across the pond simply by wandering around. She now had something tangible to look for, so the odd feeling of looking for something unknown had now left her. Keeping an ear out for splashes, she searched the area.

Sneaking along behind every tree she could find, Chaos began to pounce through random openings in the trees and bushes around her, trying to catch the pond by surprise.
Pond followed after her, watching her curiously and jumping every time she began to hop around and through things.

Looking through the woods, Zinnia half expected to find the pond soon. Or at least to find the pond. She looked all over the place leaving no metaphorical rock unturned, and she still hadn't found anything.
Almost giving up hope, she sat down and waited for Chaos to track it down. Then she heard a splash from somewhere behind her. Frowning, she looked around and uncovered the pond behind a veil of reeds. Zinnia smiled and called out, "I found it!"
(I just realized that none of my namrah have ever found the pond before. xd )

"You did?! Yay!" Chaos came bounding back, slipping in the wet reeds and tumbling face first into the pond. She sat up and laughed, "You thought you could escape from me did you? Well, I just proved you wrong!"
Pond came hurrying after her, skidding to a stop just in time to avoid taking the same path to the pond as Chaos had. "Ummm, technically Zinnia do that..."

Zinnia jumped in, the water oddly warm despite the cold without. She wondered vaguely why this was so as she swam around. Come to think of it, the pond had always seemed warmer than the outside temperatures. Figuring that this was a mystery worth inquiring about, she asked, "Why is it that the pond is always warmer than it technically should be?"
(referencing back when Chaos made the pond warmer way back when Lexis was either a kit or teen)

Chaos tried to remember exactly what they did, "Well, Neko was the one who technically did it, something about geothermal heat and digging under the pond to bring the heat closer to the surface..."
Pond nodded at Chaos's explanation, his clueless expression none the worse for wear...

Zinnia nodded as she listened to the explaination, indicated that she understood what Chaos was trying to say, "Yeah, I think it has to do with the fact that most of the Earth's insides is magma." She believed that she learned this from a movie she watched when she was younger. "Well, at least it makes the pond warmer," she finished up, swimming around.

"Yep!" Chaos replied happily, paddling around in a circle. She paused to look up at Pond who was still sitting on the bank, "Oi! Are you coming in or not?"
Pond squeaked and backed away, shaking his head fervently. "No wet!" he managed to say between squeaks.
"Not really a fan of his namesake, is he?" Chaos commented, still watching him.

Zinnia tilted her head at Pond, wondering if he was simply afraid of water or if he didn't know how to swim. Probably both, but perhaps if they taught him how to swim he wouldn't be afraid anymore... "Do you know how to swim, Pond?"

Pond shook his head- (Ewww! Neko just on her keyboard xp ) - and inched away from the pond a little more.
Chaos practically leapt out of the water from excitement, "YOU MUST LET US TEACH YOU!!!"
Pond scrambled back a few more feet, trying to hide from the overly enthusiastic Chaos behind a bush.

Zinnia laughed slightly at Chaos' excitement, catching her enthusiasm, but realizing that yelling at the poor Niva would never work. They're mostly a very timid animal, she noted to herself. She called out in a polite voice, "We could start you off in the shallows and make sure that you don't drown. Trust me, the pond will be a lot less scary once you learn how to swim."
(Zinnia's not trying to be mean, I swear. xd )

Chaos was still bouncing around, sending little waves into the shallows.
Pond started to inch towards the shallows in an attempt to take Zinnia's advice, but every time he got close a little wave would splash him in the face and he would dart back to his bush.
