Paradise had made the den a little larger than she needed for herself alone... perhaps she'd had some strange notion she'd have friends over from time to time. Though in all honesty the only two kitsu she genuinely counted as friends were Ronan and Nahanni. Not that the residents of the Place were bad... she could definitely rely on them in a jam... but she just didn't hold that consideration for them.
She settled herself quickly and curled her tails around her sides to make room for Ronan to lay on his belly also if he wanted. "I'm fine. You can relax some, if you wanna." Not like she was gonna bite. She joined in the bottle clinking and sipped at her own beverage some more. She wasn't as careful with it as she had been outside, though she held no inclination to down too much of it at one go. So after a moment she set the bottle down and glanced over at Ronan's leg. "Your paw finished healing up all-right?"

Ronan only grinned and set his drink down between his front paws, tails curling to his side to cushion against the cool soil. He could sit up with no mind to it, the only tension to his form wsa between his shoulders and neck. Otherwise, the burrow fit well for resting kitsusagis.
White eyes blinked as he glanced down to his own left paw. He flexed it and gave it a small rotations at the wrist. "Heh, shocked you remember that. I had almost forgotten myself." He didn't often look to his blue-socked paws. He traced the faint scar with his other paw, nodding faintly. "Well, it healed up as best nature can do." Nothing to complain over, nor even be seen from a distance. "Besides, babysitting sorta works out any kinks in a rapid way. I was amused by that discovery." He shrugged and went to drink some more. He frowned abit when he shook the bottle to hear it slosh half-empty.

Paradise watched as he tested his paw again, ears flicking slightly along her midly amused smirk. "Of course I remember... not that I really need an excuse to enjoy your company but it's part of the reason I followed you as far back toward here as I did before I went off again. You seemed ok by that time... but I thought I'd check anyway, I guess." She rolled her bottle absently between her paws, watching the light flicker in the glass and then taking a rather large swig in leau of expanding on her not-quite admission of how concerned she'd been for his well-being. "How'd that babysitting thing go, anyway? I take it the kid's already packed up and gone off on his own since you were alone."
Blink. She looked at her bottle again and saw that it was around a third of the way gone. She'd had a little more that last time than she thought. And... well the feeling that spread out from her stomach when it started taking effect could only be describe as "warm and fuzzy". "Kinda makes you feel... tingly like when it starts kicking in."

Ears listened to the other kitsu's talkings as his form slid forward. Fine, the tension in the short neck space was winning, and the male finally lay out on his tummy. "Is that so?" Ronan smirked and just stared at his paw of topic. His tails flicked as he acknowledged the faint display of concern from the other. It wasn't something he was used to, with his past histories of fighting. "There's no need for it." And that's all he could say to that, thinking it enough to stop such emotions.
"Hmm? It was so random and sudden, I was certain I was dreaming it." Who in there right mind would ask the rogue kitsu to babysit their spawn anyways? "But the days kept coming, and the kit, his name is Spinelli, was still there." It had been odd, to be the 'guide' of his friend's son. "All in all, he's a good kid, if alittle on the calm and quite side. But yes, he's grown and gone." Ronan blinked and glanced to Dice with a slight tilt to his head. How far had she sipped through her drink by now? "I guess it depends on who you are. Some get tingly, others get warm, and some get spacey..." He lifted his glass for a drink, only to sputter somewhat behind his paw. Ronan laughed to that surprise, tossing an excited glance to Dice. "You didn't tell me that was in there!" What was it called again? That sweet and peppery...jello thing. It was like the surprise of a strawberry in chocolate, only better!

Paradise grinned slightly while Ronan described his babysitting experience and nodded slightly. "You know... I've never been around kids much. Even when I was one. I always seemed to get along with adults more." Just a little random commentary, really. "Haven't even been around a kit for any real length of time since I stopped staying at that other place, and that was... not too long after I met you, I think?" She wasn't entirely sure what she'd even do if faced with a kit. She had no idea what to do with one...
"Warm, tingly, or spacey?" She laughed softly. "I think I've got both of the first two. Hope I skip the third." She thrummed softly, flicking the tips of her tails. "It's kind of pleasant, really." She was actually starting to feel a bit playful, but it was nice being cozied away with a good friend and a nice drink, so she remained stationary. Though she did blink over when Ronan sputtered and then swished the drink around in her bottle to spy a little object floating in it. "Well! I didn't honestly know it was in there." It made her happy, really, that Ronan seemed so pleased with the little suprise. She'd probably be kicking herself otherwise. "Ifrit never skimps on his drinks, though, so it's not really a suprise. Though heck if I know how he gets it all." But she was rather glad he did. She was enjoying herself, and so took another sip.

"Really?" Perhaps she should have met Terasu when he was a boy, but she probably would have scared the goof away. "That is surprising. Most kits would fall fast in boredom with adults for company." But who knew? Like she said before, kitsu from her place were interesting enough in character. Striped shoulders gave a shrug as Ronan sighed into his light hair. "Yeah....being around kits is not something I'm too aquainted with." They were just too different from how he had been taught to grow up.
Ears turned back to the others laughing, and Ronan only smiled in reply. He normally just got warm, and maybe just a tiny bit spacey. But there was that jelly, so that helped give him a tingly feeling. Sorta like trying to hold down hyper energy. Cold air wasn't helping the buzz, and he could only be grateful he didn't drink this more out in the snow. "It's not too bad, so long as you don't get a migraine in the end." One of the many reasons why he prefered to drink at a slow rate. Her own surprise to the drink's containments made him laugh. "Well, it honestly is shocking when it slides down your throat." He winced when she took another sip, giving a nervous chuckle. "Just don't choke on it now!" She may not even have the same thing, what with the darned Asian text on the bottle.

Paradise chuckled softly. "Ah... I guess I was just good at entertaining myself, or something. Or just had too much common sense for most kids. I always enjoyed exploring and learning useful things more than hide-and-seek and games of tag. Though I guess I did that too if you count all those rabbits I had to chase while I was learning to hunt..." Shrug.
Paradise blinked and put the bottle down. "Hmm. Good idea." She stuck her tongue out impishly after her teasingly toned reply to his warning. She swirled the liquid again and took one more drink, noting it was around half-way empty now. "I'm starting to wonder if I'm gonna have to drink the whole thing to get to mine, though." She'd be completely blasted... which might be rather novel. But getting a hangover didn't sound like much fun... so maybe she should save the rest for a little later?

"Heh, I find that better than little fickle games." Sure the occasional wants to play were fine, but not all the darned time. Dx And even as an adult, he had his bouts, but they weren't normally of childish content. It was much more entertaining just being with adults and exchanging interesting jokes and tales.
Ronan smirked and swiped out a paw, trying to snag at the small tongue. But it was busy again drinking her beverage. The striped kitsu gave a sigh before leaning down at his own bottle, blowing the lid to make a whistle sound. He tipped it over, being there was only enough to not spill over. His own nose and tongue searched out the object before he tipped it to reach the last of the liquid. "Eh?" Ronan laughed and turned to peek at Dice. "You're still just in training afterall." He shook his own empty bottle now to show so, grinning as if he won some game. "See? All gone and no headache here." He poofed his light blue ruff in playful pride.

Paradise had to grin at that. "True!" Some games weren't so bad. She'd just always liked talking more, she supposed. It was like she'd told Nahanni... people like them weren't abnormal. Just uncommon. And it was just the right way for them to be, in her opinion. She didn't care if other people thought it was strange.
Paradise blinked when she saw the paw swipe from the corner of her eye and carefully put her bottle to the side and put the lid back on. She snickered at Ronan's displaying of the empty bottle and scooted over to n** and tug on his ear gently in playful retribution. "I'll show you trainee." She stuck her tongue out again and rolled to her side to paw at him.

Ronan would have been surprised to know Ronan met Nahanni at one point. That was another episode that he had spent with a kit. Well, it was more like small favors for the wizard family. Not nearly as long as he had spent with Spinelli. What a small world though, almost too small.
"Heee, hay!" His ear was suddenly tugged on, and he pouted down to the nearer kitsu. "That's tender you know..." The male pulled the soft flesh from her maw, shaking his head from the feel of teeth. Then the side of his face patted against her wriggling paw, and Ronan blinked at her playful stance. Teeth snapped harmlessly in her direction. "Okay trainee, rule one. Don't put yourself in such a defenseless position." And he swiped a claw in the air, just above her throat so she could see to prove his point, smirking the whole while.

Reflexively Paradise's paws darted up to swat at the offending paw near her throat and push it away. "Oh, we're playing like that, hmm?" She rolled back to where she was belly down, and too close for him to effectively swipe at her with his paws again, before grabbing a mouth full of ruff and shaking her head gently to tug on it. "Rrrr!" she growled playfully with a wag of her tails.

Ronan blinked and turned his glance away. "Listen now this is a serious lecture, and if you're not going t.." Brow twitched and the male arched his neck away from the bite. It as nothing but ruff, so he felt nothing more than the back and forth tugging. Nothing but play.
Smiling widely to himself, Ronan let his body roll to the side in hopes his weight would pin the other. He laughed as he could feel her ears on his shoulder. "What now, eh?"

Paradise squeeked slightly when she found herself pinned and let go of his ruff to wiggle and try to get out from under him. After a few futile moments of that she grabbed at his ear with her teeth, though she didn't bite down or even tug on it. There was a thoughtful expression on her face and she let go of it after only a few brief seconds and then... she snuggled a little closer. "Now... I'm warm." She stuck her tongue out at him again. If it was a little easier to breath with him half laying on her, it might actually be nice.

Ronan nodded to the squeek, acting like nothing happened and busying himself with rolling his bottle back and forth. A tug here and a wriggle there, but otherwise the other was pinned. Victory! Though he had to give Paradise credit for her determination and spunk.
The kitsu flinched when his ear was once more grasped. But to his surprise, it was released without any harsh treatment. White eyes blinked and glanced down to Dice questioningly. Had he suffocated her? But she spoke up, proving she was indeed still alive. "Better than being cold, eh?" He took her snuggling for struggling, and lifted his weight away to lay upright once again. He couldn't tell if he himself was warm or not. The winter fur made that sorta numb for him to judge. Though one side of him was now less warm than it had been a few seconds ago. Tails wagged dully with a smirk. "Trainee.."

Paradise made a small sound of protest when he moved away and straightened up herself. She snorted softly at his smirk and repeated remark of trainee. "Yeah... I got a few things to learn. Doesn't everybody?" She gave him a slightly cheeky grin after that and invited herself to snuggle into his side again. "I like being warm." She flicked her tails contentedly and thrummed softly to herself. This was nice. It was very nice to be close to him...
