Atae's grin remained somewhat sheepish. "Ok... I'll take a look after practice with Zell tomorrow morning." Subconsciously her head tilted down and she started examining her paws at the mention of the fistfighting kitsu. Everytime he was mentioned since that playful little incident during training the other day she couldn't help thinking about it; it was like the replay was branded on her mind. And she still had no idea what she really thought about it.
She shook the brief moment of whimsy away and nudged at Ed's shoulder with a paw in a gentle version of a play-punch. "So how are you doing? And how's Al? I keep meaning to check in with you guys but..." But Ed and Lily had been busy, she felt akward trying to talk to Al by herself even if she shouldn't have after their initial conversation, and she kept running into people or situations that were rather distracting to her... "Oh! I met my great-Grampa the other day! The one from dad's side. He and Grampa Dante and Uncle Vergil are all from a Before." She wagged her tails. Dante and Sparda had, for good or ill, become something of familial idols for her.

There was a slow blink as Edward noticed the somewhat odd reaction Atae had after mentioning Zell. Hm.. could something be going on there? He had his suspicions... but didn't say anything. Instead he answered Atae's question.
"I'm doing great, and so is Lilianna... Al though.. he's having a hard time adjusting to this world." And he hadn't really seen any of Winry since she had gotten there. He laughed a little, Alphonse had a bit of growing up to do really... he wasn't maturing as fast as Edward had. Hopefully one of these, Alphonse would find himself a girl too.
When Atae mentioned meeting her grandpa, Edward just smiled, for he didn't really have anything to say to that. He couldn't relate... because he had never known any of his grandparents.. although that fact didn't really bother him any. It was just a fact of life.

Atae nodded a bit sadly when Ed told her Al was having a hard time. Not that she hadn't expected it... given everything. "I'm kind of sorry I haven't gotten around to see you guys much. I get over there for training in the mornings but there's just been so much going on... Though we've gotten a couple of newcomers that aren't doing much better than Al. Well, one of them's doing a lot worse, really, and it really bothers Kitsyn. She's never really talked about her past much but... I have a feeling he's the reason she kept searching where-ever it was she saw your brother at." She trailed off after that... she didn't really know what else to say on the matter without stepping into territory she wasn't sure she knew enough or had the right to go through.
Her happy smile about Dante and Sparda faltered slightly after a moment and she tilted her head. "Though... I've never really had the opportunity to introduce you to any of my family, have I? Never even really told you guys much about them..." She gave a small frown, then brightened. "I'll have to take you to see Grampa sometime, for sure. I think you'd like him. And maybe I can get you adopted." She was half-serious when she said that, even the tone was slightly teasing. Ed and Terasu were more like brothers to her than her real brothers... and it would be nice if they sorta got accepted into the fold, or whatnot. Especially since Ed hadn't really had much by way of people to call family before recent events.

Edward smiled, "Its alright.. we've been getting along fine." He's been rather busy lately anyway... and his brother.. well.. he could probably do with some more company. Ed had been spending his time with Lilianna mostly as of late, and he couldn't help but feel guilty that he was neglecting his brother or something.
He blinked once as she offered to introduce him to her grandfather. "Sure... I bet that Lilianna and maybe Alphonse would like to meet him as well. Maybe we could all three come sometime." That sounded like it could be fun... although there was the nagging though in the back of his mind that Endless would be there. It wasn't a bad thing really.. but it could be a little awkward. But with the three of them, it might be less so.

Atae wagged her tails. "At least you're all doing ok... I'll still try to come by and see you though. I'm sure we could think of something to do."
She blinked though when he mentioned bringing Lily and Al up to meet Dante too. "Oh! Really? That could be fun. I'd probably have to let him know we were coming first, if there was going to be a whole group of us... he lives up on the Mountain. He's got a jukebox! ...Did you guys have jukeboxes? I never really asked you much about what things were like and I don't know if Trel and them have one..."

Edward blinked, "What's a jukebox?" They never had those in his past life... too early... and he'd never seen one here either. He then shook his head, "Anyway.. enough about that. I want to see your alchemy! We should probably go outside." He wanted to see what all she could do and what she'd learned from the books. Plus.. there were things that his teacher taught him thta she probably wouldn't find in any of those books.

Atae grinned even as she started heading for the front door. "It plays music," was all she said by way of explanation on the jukebox. Once they were outside and clear of the building Atae carefully started showing Ed the beginner's circles she'd been using, and asked for clarification on a couple. One of the books had smudges on a couple of pages before she got ahold of it, she wasn't sure how, but she hadn't wanted to mess with the circles there until she could be sure they were right. Then she made a few marbles and a couple of thin, flat stone disks. "I made a couple of those the other day... Kitsyn took them for the paintball group to do target practice. Shoom's fun to shoot at, apparently, but impossible to hit for the most part." She snickered slightly.
